Finally a good computer science and productivity channel, keep going there aren’t many in this pocket of RUclips. You’re like Ali Abdaal but for CS instead of medicine.
That's exactly what I'm going for- thanks so much for all the support!
i agree! hahaha
Everytime I encounter the word CS I immediately think about counter strike...
I also agree
The production quality is insane for 900 subs. Keep it up man
4.7k now ✌🏻
@@web3js More than 5k now 😂😂
Thanks everyone- let's keep this video growing lol 🚀
30k now :)
You are quite skilled at making videos and I learned a lot!! Thank you from one CS student to another :)
This is by far one of the best tutorials on Notion I have ever seen. Amazing.
I've never thought of using the toggle feature to memorize. I'll be using that now, thanks a lot. 😀
I am a housewife,75 years old.Your organisation skills can be used by any one! You are the one to practice first and preach later.Easy to understand your accent also by everybody,Wonderful! Thank you-
Great video, I started using notion for my CS notes and interview prepping and i love it.
Thank you so much for this!! I've been using papers since I started and tbh I love it but this semester, I have way too many classes to be able to do so... so I'm finally giving Notion a try and your video is definitely helping me with figuring out how to set up my pages and notes!!
Thanks for watching! Your channel is great btw
Notion has been so helpful for managing Math, Data science, Coding everything together. Just create a basic page under toggle list with each topic and divide them into 3 topics(or lectures) per day with practice questions and you are making progress everyday. Also I avoided those pinterest extra complicated templates from Day 1 lol. Aesthetics are hard to maintain when you have sooo much to do
Exactly, better stick to basic and invest time on what really matters :)
I'm studying data science for the first time and this video is pure gold - thank you so much for introducing me to a lot more features that I could use in Notion for my comp-sci subjects. Mind = Blown :)
Hi, any updates u would like to share? cuz im starting on DS myself and was wondering how to best use notion for my benefit
This was such an amazing video, the explanation and everything! I've been using notion for a while now, but it is cool to see a different perspective and setup
Glad you enjoyed it! I also like watching videos with different setups/use cases
I was searching for a productivity channel for computer science finally i found you . Keep going man
smooth video man. Great work
Great video! I just recently downloaded Notion for both my MATH and CS classes I was going to start with templates and I felt it was overwhelming. Now I have a better approach tysm!
Thanks for the to-the-point video without all the fluff !
Exceptionally helpful video. I'm at the start of my data science learning journey and this is going to infinitely improve the efficiency of my note taking
Thanks for your Notion usage tipps & tricks, especially how to begin with overview of pages with toggle topic Q&As. I started Notion looking at templates w/o seeing the pros&cons for my notes, so I used directly Notion elements (numbered list item, datetime, ..., multi column table) but fallback into writing my notes in plain .txt or plain .html, which is only fast w/o layout and more work to give them a useful style.
Glad it was helpful!
Great videos man; I’m trying to go to grad school for computer science but I took some time to try to figure out CS in undergrad and your videos helped show me what I did wrong
Hey thanks for the great introduction to Notion. Just starting to learn it, and it seems like a great tool.
Phenomenal, the idea of re-writing your own examples and definitions is something so simple, yet completely evaded my thinking! Brilliant video, and note taking system.
great video, hope to see you grow!
This is a great video Aman. Really appreciate the insights and explanations on how to use Notion. Fantastic work!
Aman, thank you for the comprehensive information about notion.
Really loving your content!
Notion is the best for computer science learning! I like the inline code feature in Notion as well, command + E.
Luv this video! Awesome Tips & everything is simplified, thank uu soo much! Keep going.. 👏❤
Great tutorial on Notion and Feynman Technique aka rephrasing concepts in your own words. Notions sound really versatile. I have watched some Notion tutorials and yours was the easiest to digest. Thanks for making this content and putting it on RUclips. Looking forward to more of your computer science content. Many many thanks Aman 👍🖖
Great video Aman! Graat great video! You not only explained the benefits of using Notion succinctly, you also did it providing the background principles/concepts of why it's an efficient way to "take notes"/study, ah yes, and you also provided practical examples too, all in less and 12 minutes. That Aman is a masterpiece. Keep videos like these coming!
I was searching for this app for long time. It filled my emptiness of taking notes in a customizable way. Thanks.
It's great!
how do you only have 4k subscribers? you deserve so much more with this kind of in-depth quality!!
Thanks! Hopefully I grow in the future
वाह भईया! काफ़ी काम की चीज़ बताया आपने।
धन्यवाद 🙏
Your videos are amazing aman !
Notion is truly amazing. Thank you
keep doing what youre doing man i just found out about your channels and i love ur contents already
Great! content loved it. I will be joining Notion soon.
Tried notion after seeing this video, and I am addicted. I have completed making notes of one subject now.
Awesome video Aman! Loved the way you presented notion here!!
Thanks!
this is SO good! cant stress it enough
Thanks, your explanation and use of Notion is the best I've found yet!
Glad it was helpful!
This guy is really spitting diamonds right here, as a computer science student who’s motive is to become successful and be the best , i really find this super helpful and encouraging , im so glad i stumbled upon your video, thank you so much sir.
This video should have a title: "Why I love Notion" or "What is Notion" or "Introduction to Notion" not "How I study for Computer Science using Notion"!
damn bro, this way of using notion was supercool. great video
damn this really helped me thanks man! I'm fresher in CS & It's kinda painful to take notes on white papers without any table of content. I'm started to lovin it a lot
Hi Aman, thanks for the video I'm starting my comp sci degree next week and will definitely be giving notion a try :) I hope u didn't already answer this in the video but did u tend to use it in lectures as the lecturer is speaking or would you rough type your notes at uni and then create neater ones using notion in your free time? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing, I am planning to transfer to a Bachelor of CS. This video gives me much inspiration. I really love you divided the video into different parts.
Good luck on your bachelor! Thanks for watching
I love it. And, feedback, this would have been so much better if the screens when you actually do what you're talking about stayed on for more than 1 or 2 seconds.
Thank you for a simple explanation. I am trying Notion. I spent all weekend trying other platforms and they were not user friendly. Notion is very user friendly. Thanks again.
This is a great video! Thanks a lot, excellent work.
Thanks!
Hi there,
thanks for the tips, I feel this will be good for my studies
greetings from Brazil
The Template advise is actually good. In the beginning I used them and did not care at all. But then I build my own stuff and suddenly realized how great it is. Some things dont have to be complex. Or you view and organize something differently. That´s why you should build stuff yourself.
Exactly! It's really important to explore and build from scratch, as it builds true understanding.
Quality content!
Thank you so much for this information... 😍😄
Solid content and clarity! Gained a sub broseph
Thanks!
great video, and good advice on how to study different topics 👍
So true about "don't use templates". When I just started using it, I downloaded templates, tried to get my head aorund them, eventualy it got so overwhelming that I just dave up and was about to delete the app LOL. Then I decided to play with it by myself, created a page from scratch. My notion does not look as fancy as one of those RUclips videos, it is ssuper bassic. But I already benefit from the app. It really facilitates organizartion. I need more practice though.
That's exactly what happened to me! It was so much better started out from scratch treating it like a Google Doc than dealing with all those fancy templates
Tbh those pretty templates sometimes dont serve the purpose you had. So just stick with your gut :)
the only template i find essential to me is flashcards, it is really good
Thanks for this simple and meaningful explanation.
Glad you liked it
You convince me lets go thanks for the video.
Just finishing my Master in CS, our approach with Notion is identical, love that
That's awesome!
Sheesh this is good. Instant subscribe!!
thank you for this! hopefully, i'll get more productive with my new notion template.
Good luck!
@@AmanManazir thank you! looking forward to more of your videos.
Thanks, Brother!
Can you make a video showing the structure of your notion as a computer science student?
I migrated from Notion to Obsidian and I really like it.
I haven't checked out Obsidian yet, but it's on my bucket list haha
Many times in the video I thought about Obsidian...
Quality content, subscribed!!!
Welcome aboard!
great stuff! i was looking for a good app like this.
Glad I could help!
Great video learned a lot been watching your channel for the past few days you deserve a like and a sub! 👍 Keep it up your teaching me a lot! I’m currently a freshman in college majoring in computer science and I’m also learning and taking a course on Coursera from Meta on front end development. I plan on learning as much as I can on different coding languages and more in depth on data and algorithms..Anyway keep up the good work bro thanks.
the point that he makes about how your study technique should actually change based on the subject really resonated with me.....when you are going through tons of tutorials trying to learn how notion, remnote or any note-taking apps in general work....you'll mostly find medical related study framework on how to use these apps, as they really shine when it comes to memorization, testing and linking stuff. My issue was that being an ECE student, I always had to deal with maths, circuits and stuff and I struggled making notes about such math-driven subjects on remnote and notion. I used to screenshot equations and numericals into notion but it seemed really ineffective to me. To deal with the issue, I started making digital notes in one-note using a graphic tablet. As it has a has a infinite canvas, I can make some really awesome notes (and add them to notion/remnote by screenshotting because I don't want to lose on the benefits of "looking into the big picture" and linking various topics lol)
If you're struggling with saving math equation digitally, I highly recommend you to learn LaTeX. It is really easy to learn(1 week to go advanced typing). Now I'm kinda fast with it and my notes are looking beautiful!! If you seek simplicity, use Obsidian for note-taking as it is almost twice as easier as using Notion. Anyways, good luck on your future studies ^_^
The fact that you explained notion like you were explaining how to code in C.
TLDR: I get the vibe like you are a true genuine CS Student.
Thanks! I try to be genuine haha
This app is changing my life.
Just earned a new subscriber
amazing video
is there any possibility, that you publish your cs notes for us to download them directly into notion? the javascript one was kinda useful
I will once I come up with a video that relates to publishing my notes- thanks for the tip!
Thank you!!!
amazing video bruh
Typora is the best.
Because I love the independence that markdown node taking gives ;)
awesome video
Awesome content!
Glad you think so!
Starting to use Notion from today now! New Subscriber incoming
Welcome aboard!
Wish I used this during my first year
Very very nice.
Thank you for this )
My pleasure!
Nice , a friend from my intership suggested me to use notion was just checking it out on RUclips
Hope you like it!
@@AmanManazir I'm used to write notes in notebook so needs some adjusting before I can use to it's full potential 😅
Awesome 😎😎😎
Loved the video and your approaches! Can you please go through//share your notion templates??
I'm planning on it!
I'm convinced
Can you make a specific video on how to take notes on notion?
I'm late but I think I might use notion and an a simple note app will help. If I get an Apple keyboard that could help. The code was badass
thx man
Dude so cool you look! ( Master Yoda)
3-4x speed wtf. That is amazing!
i use one note for my note taking
and i like to write things a lot rather than typing and i am studying comp sci major too
when i need to put a code i write it in vs code and screen shot it and paste in one note.
Hello my first time here:)
can I include udemy course inside notion to tracking and write my comment about course how i can do it
when i try it just past link to the courses but i can't include video course
if you have any idea about this please tell me
thanks
really good video
Glad you enjoyed it
I decided to give Notion a try but it overwhelmed me hahaha I guess I will be investing a lot of time on this and you point out the answers I'm looking for without explaining the complex function of Notion.
Great example of how to use Notion effectively. I especially like your insights on how to use the Toggle feature. Part of my channel is documenting my journey on how to become a blockchain developer using online resources. I have been using Notion to put together the roadmap and found a few tips in this video. Thanks for insight.
Glad it was helpful! The toggle feature is indeed very useful
Interesting
Great vid! I'm using Notion for work and definitely see some pros. For note taking, I been experimenting with Roam Research. Have you tried that tool? I feel that might be in your wheelhouse.
I also use Roam Research! I mainly use it for book notes/ideas, whereas Notion is for project management/classes
@@AmanManazir That's awesome! Do you have videos on Roam? Would love to see how others are using their 2nd brain lol
Notion is the best!!
totally agree!
Even though I'm a student of English Literature, I'm glad I've watched this.
Glad you like it!
