He is only showing how to layout by revit. In terms.of proper designs and codes references designer engineers should apply that. As he said on the last part of the video. Each country has diffrent standards so this video is just showing how to do revit on a simple bathroom but implementing proper design is up to you.
Hi, i am a big fan of your TUTORIALS and watch them almost daily to learn somthing new. But, sir, to connect the wash basin & shower outlet to water closet is not a great idea.
Is not a great idea? How? For common houses thats a basic installtion one soil pipe collecting shower drains, water closet and sink at tap to septic tanks. Unles ls you are designing a building structutes the requires green building design. Like 2 pipe systems, so waste from water. Closet.and urinal should be separated to waste from shower drains and sink/lavatory. That would be 2 collector pipe which is soil.pipe and waste pipe.
And i think the purpose of this video is showing the beginners how to revit a simple plumbing toilet including me. But proper designing and codes references is up to.engineers on to incorporate in the drawings tru revit software.
Regarding the other video today about lines which has disappeared on the beetle you can just go to graphic display options which you did but missed the show edges box. Turn it off and voila all edges on beetle gone.
I have installed BIM plug -in, and last time I used revit there was BIM tab. But, today when I open the same file there is no BIM tab in the top.??? How to insert it again?
Hi, why using a plumbing template ? If Piping can also be done in architectural template based file, why do you choose having too project files instead of one ?
Hey, Balkan. I Installed the plugin, but it didn't create a "BIM" tab where I can access that window full of families. It appears only in the "Add-Ins" tab, where it opens the web navigator, and it's completely different an very time consuming to load a family into the model. Could you please redirect me to a tutorial on how to properly install the plugin to make it as usable as you show in this video? Thanks!
I have a question, when I saved my architecture template to my desktop, the file does not appear when I look for it in the link revit for the plumbing-default. Any help would be great please.
Quick question, maybe someone can help. When I insert the revit file into the plumbing template (mechanical template in my case Revit 2019), the shower system appears grayed out and I am not able to select it to copy to clipboard and paste in place again to be able to manipulate the hot and cold water piping. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?
Double click on the shower system while making the architectural model. You will enter the family edit menu. There change the family category from generic to plumbing fixture. This will resolve your issue

Besides adding a T connection to W.C outlet pipe isn't good, from a design perspective it should be bend as it was before he adjusted to T connection

Why can't I change the direction for my pipes ? It only lets me draw a straight line, I can't make any angels and connect them?

When more people is working on the project it is easier. But if it is you and your project you can remain in the arch template
when i try to make pipes, it doesn't appear and it can only extend in 90deg angles T.T
