  • How to create easily crystals in Blender? You can download the finished Blender file to study it here. File contains some additional compositing nodes to create dof and I also added little more randomness to the shader noise textures. Otherwise the file is quite much the same as you can see me doing in the video: bit.ly/3k372U0

      It's very useful. You can easily with that do for example lead "crystal" glass, if you need it for some old architecture scene. :)

    How do you export it for a game along with its textures??

    • @MrSorbias
      @MrSorbias  Месяц назад

      Hey, if the game engine supports glass materials and refraction, then it only can be used there with the internal objects. It's heavily layered object tho, so idk how would it work. Depends on game engine ig.
      You might want to make simplified version of the model for the game to avoid having too much polygons and stuff. Other than the geometry related features, all material features such roughness map and metallic map can be baked in blender to textures, if you just have unwrapped the model.

    • @Vstackz122
      @Vstackz122 Месяц назад

      @MrSorbias I'm currently using Unreal Engine 5 and I know it take FBX files I'm not to sure about OBJ, I know it doesn't take .blend files but the crystal didn't have too many polygons so it was perfect but I saved it and I came back to it and it was grey and it didn't have the pink I originally had for and I tried a lot of things to restore it but it didn't work, so really I guess I'm trying to say how could I export it and keep all the effects that has without that grey thing happening again?

    • @MrSorbias
      @MrSorbias  Месяц назад

      @@Vstackz122 I think you need to build the whole material again in UE somehow. Sadly I am not an expert with UE, so I can only guess.

  • @alcubz2622
    @alcubz2622 2 года назад

    Is it possible to covert this into maps?

    • @MrSorbias
      @MrSorbias  2 года назад

      You can bake the noise tekstures etc. but the internal details cannot be baked as far I know.
