This channel is so underrated. You deserve more.
Thanks Bleach!
@@DavidManningvlog Agreed.
Seriously your videos are so good and I love the quality. I rlly don’t know why you only have 60k subs. Keep up the great work I’m sure subs will start rolling in.
Thanks Landon! Super kind of you to say!
@@DavidManningvlog checking in 1 year later... patience pays off.
Informative and you obviously enjoy what you're doing. You're a joy to watch. I'm glad I found this channel. I got some great ideas for still-life shots using the RGB. Thanks, David.
super well done video man, you covered just about every question I had when I started watching, subbed
Great video, I appreciate the longer takes fun seeing you play with the product and show off different lighting options. Very informative 👍👍
Another great video David, thanks for showing all the different ways you can use lights. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Jon!

Great channel! the demos and tips are very useful.
The face you made when you where acting like you were watching tv had me cracking up. Love this channel
Great video, I loved the example uses in the 2nd half. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks Michael! I appreciate that man!
I agree, you are a really cool dude that deserves more credit on your videos!
Great video per usual! I can definitely see the benefits to having a light like this, especially for the RGB. Thanks!
Thanks Deputy Drone! And absolutely, the RGB adds a ton of fun options!
Most DEFINITELY buying after watching this video!
Thank you, thank you so much!!
I Looveee your videos!! I’m learning soo much!! 🤗🤗
Neat light! I want one :) Thanks for sharing!
Another great product review and recommendation.
Great video David!
This is portable light that I am looking for. Thanks for sharing all the necessary information. Loved it
This video is great - as is the light! Got me the foldable (double) version. Wow, what a light, and adjusting settings per app is great.
I was literally looking for a video on this light this morning.
Same
Great little light....thanks for the review.
Those lights look cool!
Excited for the next patron live!
Maybe I'll just be lit by the lighting effect the whole time!🤣
AWE, the album cover photo revealed! Nice. DUDE this light is awesome. Will be the second light I will purchase from your videos.
Great channel! Greetings from Norway!
Those are cool. I like the different effects
I was worried people were gonna trip out when it started flashing🤣
Nice review man👍❤
Thanks Raffy!
Very cool. I have the Boling P1, but I am going to add this to my collection.
OK..... Take my money! ORDERED 2! Love your videos dude!
Oooooo! I was looking for a light like that to put in the background of my videos. Thanks! 😁
I like the sound effect of the light going over the gopro at the end
I really love these
I was looking for a light thanks
👌🏻👌🏻
This one is pretty dope!!!
This was really satisfying to watch. App control would be cool.
App control would be amazing!
Incredibly underrated channel.
Thanks Jonathan! I'm just stoked on everyone that's here so far👍
would love to have one of these!
This is top of the list for my next accessory purchase. This is one of those pieces of gear that elevates your production value instantly. When I got my monopod it expanded my options some, then I got a ball joint for it earning a quick boost in XP taking me to the next level. Then came the gimble changing the game again. Get this light and I’ll be Darren Aronofsky of B/roll, in my head anyways.
lol, funny... my second one just came in today :D - i love this light!
all this time you still think is good buy 2 units?
Hello, love your videos
Thanks Sherie! 😄
OMG...how did I miss this great light before Christmas? What a steal!!! Way better than the Aputure MC which only comes with a diffuser and bulky bag. And now this is $109 which is an even better price! Oh and it comes with a screen cleaning cloth. (Note : Falcon Eyes has released the new F7 II Mark II ,it support App control and more functions !!!)
Yeah, I'm a huge fan of the F7 light. So easy and useful!
@@DavidManningvlog yep so many goodies... I wish I'd found many of these gems for black Friday. This last one was the first time I actually saw some good deals and unfortunately no one did any decent Christmas/after Christmas or even January sales. My son's birthday was in January and usually I can take advantage of sales but there just didn't seem to be any awesome deals compared to black Friday. Next year will be very different!!
Great vid as usual bro! Question: would you go for this light or a LumeCube panel light?
As far as I know, the Lumecube panel light is only bicolor and doesn't have RGB (colors). The RGB mode on this thing is so damn fun!
@@DavidManningvlog thanks for the feedback! The grid feature also seems to be something the lumecube panel lacks.
❤️ i loved it🤩🔥🔥👍
Thanks Mario!
Great tip! Thinking be good to have it in the car for emergency and cool pics from time to time \m/
Yes - app control matters - thank you for making this video
#FatDad #Canberra #Australia 🇦🇺🦘🇦🇺
I just played with another light the other day that does have app control and it was pretty sweet!
I have bought two of the Falcon Eyes F7 light and they are awesome, my question for David, is what tripod should I buy that has a fully articulating top/arm so I can angle the light downward when shooting video in order to get the cinematic feel.
That's awesome Anthony! These are the lighstand heads that I use amzn.to/3f6Gf4J If you're looking to boom something overtop for a straight down shot, I use C-stands. This one is pretty sweet and has wheels amzn.to/30r0mXe
Whilst app control isn't super important, the feature of the Aputure AL-MC that I really like the look of is the ability to colour match the light to something in the scene by pointing the phone camera at whatever it is you want to sample. Probably not something I'd use on a regular basis but one of those "nice to know it's there" kind of things. In the UK the AL-MCs come in at a little under the F7, don't have some of the accessories (grid, friction arm, hot show mount) but do include a charging cable and more useful possibly, wireless charging. I am looking to get two lights soon, I still think it will be the Aputures right now.
Thanks for all of that Neil! The Aputure MC is a really cool light and those features, especially the whole pointing your phone at something to sample the color, are really sweet! My only issue with the MC is the output. The Falcon Eyes f7 puts out 4000 LUX while the MC is putting out 1000. Not a big deal though if you're just using them to fill or if you have them close to your subject👍
@@DavidManningvlog Ooh, that output difference does make a difference, means you can run the F7 at a lower output equalling more battery life. Now the decision is not so clear cut 😀 Decisions, decisions...
Might need to add one of these to my setup. Currently need to add data storage first though. Making videos sure takes up a lot of space
Hey David, quick question.. I am thinking about using this light as my key light in a very small social content studio. Can I put on the Diffusor and the grid at the same time? Cos I want the diffuse key light characteristics and don’t want any spill on my set background.. thank you for the video!!
Love the videos dude!
I’m about to buy one based on your recommendation. I do have to ask, if I want this good of a product but WITH app control what one do you recommend? I’m new to photography and videography but I feel like in some shots being able to dim, brighten, change color on a app rather than picking up the lite and then having to move it to hit the buttons that may be worth a thought for an app one?
This year The falcon eyes comes out the update version of F7 , It is the F7 fold , two lights kit , and support APP control .You can buy from here :amzn.to/3e2vYGn”
Fantastic demo video! Dang! Every one of your videos tempts me to blow all my disposable income. May God bless your family with good fortune during these times while your bread & butter income is at a stand still. Keep up the great work!
Genuinly laughed at the hiccup part. Awesome lights, kinda out of my budget at the moment but I do have my 'portable' workshop light, my only issue is. I get lines when recording but I have no shutter speed option on my action camera. is there any way of reducing this until I can afford a better setup?
Oh man! I saw a review of those guys, they are so good but.. So expensive for me ☹️... Someday... Someday
For sure still pricey, but for what they are, a killer deal! One day👊
What if I have two option between aperture MC and falcon eye F7? Which one would you recommend? Thanks 😊
In all seriousness, What are the benefits of a pocket RGB vs something like the Neewer 660? Really about to buy them and need to know. Much appreciated on any insight.
Great review, but argh- now you do a review on a light. I like how flat the profile is for portability plus the built-in RGB lighting. But I bought a LitraPro earlier and while it's more $ and separate photo filters vs built-in, I think having an app is useful for certain out of reach use cases like you mentioned. Not a deal breaker but useful in what I wanted to do. Might pick this one up anyways for a backup since it's lower price. Thanks!
Oh, that LitraPro is sweet, but yeah having the built in RGB is pretty amazing! I'm with you that the app isn't a deal breaker, but man would that be awesome!
Okay, I will admit. You have me intrigued. Now I need a reason to buy one? 😂
I have two aswell!
Would u say this is better than the panel go or pro at lumecube?
Here is me doing the all of youtubery.
How does this compare to the Yongnuo YN360 as far as brightness?
What mirror less camera would go good with this?
What kind of light set up do you use?
This might sound crazy, but are you doing seperate videos for metric/imperial countries? 😄 love that using g & mm 📏👌
For your backlighting on the book shelf buy some cheap LEDs with app control. For the lights in this videos that would go in the bag I don’t feel an app is necessary.
Would you suggest I upgrade from a Hero(2018) to Hero 8 Black? A Hero(2018) is a basic Hero. Its kinda bad!
Then yes!
Can u do cheaper gopro handles/poles because i feel like the ones u show are kinda out of my price range.
Can you run the white light and RGB at the same time?
No, but you also wouldn't want to. The white light would wash out the color
Hi man!! I have a special request for you can you make tutorials about phone photography. Love from INDIA.
hello David I found your channel bc I started to edit and to record but after watching your vids I got into photography I have watch your 155 videos (quarantines fault ) and I learn so much from it but Im still undeceive about watch camera to get I have watched countless videos of all types and options and im 90% sure I want the Canon EOS 90 D but before I make the move I want your opinion and everything you can tell me about that camera or that I should know btw I know is a dslr and you rather have mirrorless and the eos r is mirrorless but that one goes out my budget for now so if you clan pleas help me out ill thank you for ever
if anybody reads this and have experience or an opinion on it I would love your out put thank you in advance !!
10:59 cool!!
Does anyone use these for portrait photography? If so, I’d like to see your results. I’m looking for some good LED lights purchase for portrait photography.
Hello there 👋
I'm just impressed. I'm not sure how you're doing it!
Do not need an app to totally utilize this action packed, feature rich instrument.
great light, the app sounds great but in real life when you're shooting, stress, time, pressure the last thing is getting your phone out and fiddling with Bluetooth and apps...so it's not a big deal
I think more so for the studio setups like mine, it's cool to tuck a light back somewhere and be able to control it without having to unmount it. Or for my setup, to be able to sit in front of the camera to see how things are looking and remotely adjust things. You're right though, so many of the apps for lights are clunky
Can u do a mobile editing tutorial???
yee
you remind me of Andy from the office
2nd
The app is called desal lite I think
Hey buddy! I just came across your channel and see your experienced with video... I dont know anybody that is and I truly need help! I'm buying my 1st motorcycle and want a camera JUST IN CASE OF A ACCIDENT, I need something that can run on a external battery for 4-6 hours and record the whole time. It would be a plus if while running on a external battery it could also use a external mic (not a must, but a plus) I heard of loop recording but might be confused. I'd like to throw a 128gb or 256gb sd card in and hit record, then when I run out of memory I'd like it to start recording over the beginning of the card from the oldest part of the video onward. Is there ANY WAY YOU CAN HELP ME. IT WOULD BE EXTREMELY APPRECIATED. Or if any of your subscribers can help!!!! Thanks guys/gals ......... I did subscribe!!
