    The two short back pockets are not necessarily for a phone according to LA Police Gear. They are for mags and fit AR mags specifically for easy access and reloading. They show a phone in one picture but it doesn’t go very far because the pocket isn’t for that.

      I know, but I wonder what percentage of the people that wearing them are using them for mags vs phones.

    My wife got me a pair of their cargo pants for Christmas. My issue is they are “boot” cut or straight fit. I’m a slim guy and like slim fit or small ankle pants.
    Are the BFE pants slim fit? Their site makes them all look like they’re tight in the ankle but my cargos are not

      @SnareMan  Год назад

      Sorry for the delay. I'd say they are just normal fit. I think they'd be almost perfect if they had dividers inside the cargo pockets, but I haven't succeeded in getting them to add them.

    I would like to see the zippers go the other way round when closed. In some instances getting in and out of vehicles the zipper pull scratches the seat fabric.

    The small divided pockets in the side look good for pistol magazines.

    Add two slash pockets to the front like the Atlas pants and they will have an "unbeatable" design

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  11 месяцев назад

      And some dividers in the side pockets to hold your cell phone

    to anyone that has these, are the main front pockets big enough to hold a small pistol (LCP) in a pocket holster? some pants pockets arent deep enough and the gun will try to come out when seated.

    • @justinb.5822
      @justinb.5822 3 года назад

      The pockets are big enough to carry a sub-compact pistol or revolver. HOWEVER, the fit is tight to the body. This means that the firearm WILL PRINT.

    I own two pairs of these shorts. The cargo pocket organizer/divider is wide enough for pistol magazines. I believe this was the intent when they were designed.

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  3 года назад

      Could be, but it doesn't really leave a great place to put a cell phone that everyone carries. That's really my only complaint about them.

    I love your reviews, basically the only ones out there on lapg pants.
    How do these compare to the urban ops? Which do you prefer?

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  4 года назад +1

      Thanks. They are entirely different pants so it's hard to say. I like that these look like normal pants with normal looking fabric and not big cargo pockets compared to the urban ops. I do wish these pockets had organizers to hold a cell phone for instance.

    Tactical have kept up with the Tactical world, but not the commercial world. I just put my S21FE in a large pocket. Love all 12 pair, no more jean!

      The thigh pocket needs a divider though. But yes, I agree on the regular world now keeping up other than maybe Kuhl. I almost refuse to wear pants without a cell phone pocket now.

    Let’s just say I were a captain at a small county sheriff’s office, 6’6”, tipping the scales up around 340 el bees. I’m a big boy. You know, I’m the extra sausage, extra garlic, extra onion on my pizza kinda guy. Huge fupa ...so I’m going to need a decent rise in my pants. I can’t go bikini cut tac pants.... How would these rate with big-uns like me??

    • @SnareMan
      @SnareMan  4 года назад +1

      I'm not sure I could fully speak to that honestly. I'm 5' 7", 160. I like to think they would hold up fine but I don't have any full experience to answer that

      SnareMan I was only asking to rib my Captain a bit as I was using your excellent review to aid his decision on a new issue pant for our division.
      Your videos are AWESOME! THANK YOU for your exhaustive work in demo-ing the gear!

      @@SpecialAgentW granted I know nothing about your work situation but I always feel like Police department uniform decisions such as ties are made by someone sitting in the office that's not actually or working. I'm going to respect you just the same tie or no tie. Make your uniform comfortable and functional

      I'd say they are a slightly slimmer cut, but not slim fit

      I'd say they are on the slimmer side. Not a true slim fit, but definitely not bagg. Just kind of normal fit I guess.

    I agree that they are a good value but La Police Gear is really terrible at customer service. I got the pants and they were too big I returned them at the end of Feb it is April and I still haven't got my refund yet. I wont ever buy anything else from them.

    • @SnareMan
