The system is designed to silo health workers into different parts of the body so there isn’t a wholistic view of the body and general health. The system is designed to pump as many drugs etc into us to suppress symptoms. When has a Dr ever asked what is the patient eating? Modern medicine is disease management they are not aiming for cures. Better still, let’s eat a species appropriate diet that gives us the minimal chance of getting sick in the first place! Then medicine will be left with the minority of conditions that it can get its teeth stuck into and resolving. Atm it’s a conveyor belt.

Hi Eric, Bhavesh (Patel, MD) here.... great point about the A1c and increased lifespan of RBCs. The A1c is calculated on the idea that RBCs live 90 days, but if they live longer, more glycation, thus, higher A1c... The other thing that happens is LOW A1c and HIGH fasting glucose, which is due to gluconeogenesis (liver secreting glucose into bloodstream) when sugar levels drop during fasting.

My Nephew had a level of 634 upon his first diagnosis, and said he had felt fine. I just said it is so gradual that you didn't notice it going up. Some people go into a diabetic coma at that level. He is a big guy though.
Thank you very much, Dr. Berg. I think the real danger is that the signs of high blood sugar appear at night, where no one notices them. Such as frequent urination at night, as the body tries to get rid of excess glucose. This can lead to dehydration, causing dry mouth and increased thirst. The person may also suffer from insomnia, waking up feeling tired. Headaches can occur as a result of blood sugar fluctuations. Signs include Others may feel unusually hungry despite eating enough food before bedtime. Some individuals may experience blurred vision when going to the bathroom at night. In more severe cases, there may be nausea or dizziness. These symptoms may worsen if left untreated, which underscores the importance of monitoring blood sugar levels during the night.
I'm on 3 weeks. It's amazing. Noticed so many things and I'm super healthy with no issues. Just wanted to see what the fuss was about. All I can say is wow
Just dinner (red meat+green salad with fresh portobello mushrooms and avocado +extra virgin olive oil in glass container+vinegar), maybe once every 2 weeks add a dinner dessert of strawberries or blueberries, and during the day just one coffee with walnuts/pecans/macadamias. I've been doing it for 2 years, life changer, It works!
Anything the WHO recommends, I now do the opposite. A book 'Health and Beauty Mastery' by Julian Bannett exposes so many shocking truths. I completely changed my habits.
Same here! I just searched google to see if a longer red blood cell lifespan can cause A1C to be 6.0 in a person who eats a low-carb, healthy diet, and it said YES and it's known as a "falsely elevated A1C." I'm SO RELIEVED to know this! My MD said, "It's probably genetic" and not to worry about it, but I WAS worried about it! How could I eat essentially perfectly and have a "pre-diabetic" A1C?! Now I'm in a spiral since my youngest sister moved in with her two young daughters and fills this house full of junk food. His sugar has been way high again and I've regained 15 lbs! I do realize it's my own fault... Prayers requested for me to regain my will power. I just wish I was capable of convincing people to follow suit.

Great video, agree about A1C, not always the best indicator. Fasting plasma glucose should be assessed as a confirmatory or a fructosamine level. I instruct most of my patients with Diabetes to decrease carbs to no more 40 grams a day, but each patient need is individual.
I’ve been feeling bad lately, crash randomly. Found out you can get a $20 blood glucose monitor with 50 test strips at Walmart, no script needed. My blood glucose levels are higher than they should be. Going to watch it closely.
@ last night after I bought it, it was 104, which was after about a 24 hour fast (OMAD). At wake this morning, it was 85. If you have a spare $20, get yourself a Relion Premier. I figure a week of testing will help narrow down why I am crashing and craving.

Hello our respected Dr Berg! Can you make plz a video about how to treat eczema, what to avoid and do for it, i have been suffering from this since my childhood, tried a lot of things but still suffering unfortunately. Thanks for advance
Great idea! Intermittent fasting and a keto diet is excellent for inflammation...I did this to lose weight, to stop early onset arthritis in it's tracks, and my skin condition has improved dramatically...
I have seborheic dermatitis, kind of similar to eczema. I avoid bread-anything that's made with flour with added yeast. You can use lupin flour or almond flour and make your bread, cookies, and pancakes. I'm on the healthy version of keto by Dr. Berg. My dermatitis cleared.
My child had terrible eczema, we tried all the prescription creams finally someone said get a really good probiotic and it literally disappeared in 3 wks and never returned.
The video discusses 7 signs of high blood sugar: excessive urination, thirst, skin changes, brain fog, mood swings, cravings, and blurry vision. It explains insulin resistance, how to lower blood sugar through diet, and the A1C test.

Thank you Dr. Berg! I had all the signs of Diabetes and didn't recognize them. My A1C is currently 5.8, down from 14.7.
My Nephew had a level of 634 upon his first diagnosis, and said he had felt fine. I just said it is so gradual that you didn't notice it going up. Some people go into a diabetic coma at that level. He is a big guy though.
Probably been unwell for so many years he forgot what feeling good was like. "Fine" was the way he felt daily, was normal
Thank you Dr Berg for sharing this video. May God blessed you and your family!
No problem. Wishing you the same.
My Doctor is looking so handsome and young today Mashallah ❤ be alive we are learning life from you Sir
Agreed!
Preach it Dr. Berg!!!!! Watch your back as you are shining the light where “ they” don’t want 🙏🙏🙏
Dr Berg ... Thank you, I have learned so much. You are the best. God bless you.
Just ate l.reuteri yoghurt for first time. After watching your vid on it. Yum. Hope it helps me!
I eat blueberries daily one every 2 weeks sheesh :)
Thank you, I seem to be gaining & gaining and just thought it was me in post menopause, but this info helped!
Love the short video format, lots of valuable info in a short video.
Thanks for your feedback!
Thank you Doc for sharing this video 😊
And that’s why you are my favourite doctor, nicely detailed. Wish my Gp could explain it like that 👍
Thanks
Looooove this topic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Thank you 🙏🏾
It's my pleasure!
Anything the WHO recommends, I now do the opposite. A book 'Health and Beauty Mastery' by Julian Bannett exposes so many shocking truths. I completely changed my habits.
😂😂😂😂smart
me too and also read "Undoctored"
@@TristanJ-y6w exactly
My A1c is higher because the blood cells live longer! I wondered. Thanks for great info as always.
THANK YOU, DR. BERG, INDEED!!!
Dr Berg is my favorite doctor! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!
Thank you.
THANKYOU for everything!!!!.
Wishing you a happy Christmas 😊
You are welcome, Sharon. Happy Christmas to you as well!
JFK Jr got some of the food companies running around thinking hard about changing their ingredients...I started seeing them in the local stores changing prices and buy 2 cereals get 1 free....I bet the FDA workers doesn't sleep good anymore, I glad for RFK Jr. getting this out in the open time will tell
Yeah, that's so great! No more fluoride in the water and vaccines. That's sounds really smart.
You MUST mean RFK Jr?
It's about time
Since companies like Kelloggs already makes cereals without food colorings, it should be easy to flip American cereals.
Growing up on those cereals in the 80s I ended up extremely deficient in b1. The sugar I guess and lack of nutrients. My sister and I both have health problems and my mom still thinks the cereal was fine bc it was "fortified" it's basically all we ate along with processed Lunchables and other crap. We're lucky to be alive
I have read many books, I listened to many RUclips videos by many of the world's leading gurus and health experts but nothing came close to the hidden herbs by anette ray. I recommend everyone giving it a read.
No
Thank you Dr Berg!!

Thanks for all wonderful videos you make.
Always clear and informative information. Thank you ❤
I'm currently caring for my elderly diabetic dad. I can not convince him to do this! I do feed him a lot of my keto foods...especially, when I first started cooking for him, but his doctor will absolutely have me locked up if he loses much weight at this point in his life.
🙏
You will get yr girl power bk 🙏
Reading a great book right now called Good Energy by Casey Means, MD who is right Along the same mindset of Dr. Berg and Dr. Pradip Jamnades (sp!). KUDOS & Thanks to all you practitioners who share with us about how food can either heal or kill the body!!! It’s our decision to WAKE UP or Die (my words). Prayers for all of us 🤗🙏
Great video, agree about A1C, not always the best indicator. Fasting plasma glucose should be assessed as a confirmatory or a fructosamine level. I instruct most of my patients with Diabetes to decrease carbs to no more 40 grams a day, but each patient need is individual.
Great video to start the day off with, and make better diet decisions. I’m a diabetic, and I need all the advice I can get. Thank you!
Thanks Doc
Thank You Very Much! ❤
You're welcome. Thanks for watching the video. Stay safe.
I’ve been feeling bad lately, crash randomly. Found out you can get a $20 blood glucose monitor with 50 test strips at Walmart, no script needed.
My blood glucose levels are higher than they should be. Going to watch it closely.
I thought about doing this too. What were your levels?
@ last night after I bought it, it was 104, which was after about a 24 hour fast (OMAD). At wake this morning, it was 85.
If you have a spare $20, get yourself a Relion Premier. I figure a week of testing will help narrow down why I am crashing and craving.
Thank you Dr.berg 🙏
Thank you for your sharing this ❤❤❤
God bless you ❤❤
MERRY CHRISTMAS DR. ERIC BERG, Happy to be your fan and follower for the past 5 years now!.. Stay safe, happy and healthy! Have a Prosperous New Year too... ❤😊❤❤
Thank you, Dr. Berg
Did you have skin rashes that bleed when you eat wheat? That's what happens to me.@@ITJoe17
It's yeast
Excellent breakdown, Doc👊🏾
Sir can you make a video on vitamin a dose ?
The required dosage depends on individual situations. See his videos on vitamin A, on symptoms of deficiency, etc.
Excellent video, thank you!🤗
Thanks for the info 👍🏾
FELIZ AÑO DR¡¡¡¡
UN CORDIAL SALUDO
Thank you so much, Dr. Berg ❤

Dr berg has improved my body composition more than any physical fitness trainer out there
No medical, Dr. can be compared to Dr Berg. Really appreciate you . Watching from the Uk.
Thank you very much for your comment. Appreciate it!
I'd love to see a follow up on the guy you had on that had cancer and was self treating by restricting sugar, etc. Is he doing ok?
Yes I do feel when my blood sugar is too high.
Me too
I get a really bad headache in the back of my head when my Blood Sugar is too high. ❤
Me three!
Thank you, Dr Berg ❤👍🏻
Most welcome! Anytime!
The video discusses 7 signs of high blood sugar: excessive urination, thirst, skin changes, brain fog, mood swings, cravings, and blurry vision. It explains insulin resistance, how to lower blood sugar through diet, and the A1C test.
Good bot
Tru
Oh! Spoiler alert 😅
Thank you. Sometimes the topic is important yet we don't have time to watch the entire video atm... many don't put it in the description. I do go back later and watch the entire video but this is helpful. 😊👍
Read his video discriptions, he always lists the context of the video with timestamps.
Thanks ❤
Thanks
So interesting. Thank you Dr. Berg. ❤😊
Most welcome! Thanks for watching!
Okay he's a doctor of some type. He's very open about the circumstances of his life that led him to where he's at now. If he had to work to find the information initially, how tough will it be for us? Us would be the average Joe or the average Jane. Thanks to the good doctor here not that tough. We can just tune in to his channel and get a wide assortment of information covering different health topics. We should be a very appreciative lovely effort that's a good doctor puts into his videos. Thank you. 👍
Doctor of Chiropractic & I trust them more than most MD’s as the medical schools are backed by Big Pharma & only care about $$ & keeping us Managed NOT getting us healthy!
We've went very low carb. 2 years later we feel better than ever. 💙
And definitely do not take advice from our overweight doctor any longer. 🌞
Well explained about hyperglycemia .howerver there is nothing v serious going to happen to patients immediately.Hypoglycemia is more serious an emergency.
awesome !!!
You're the Best
Thank you for your kind message. Have a nice day!
@Drberg you as well!
Happy holidays and can't wait for the New Year!
Change with you and RFK! 🥳🫶💪
Thank you Dr. Berg👑🏆
This was very helpful 😊
Ok Doctor, could you please tell me what you think the best sugar substitute is? Would be a lifesaver… Thanks.
Organic stevia, organic xylitol would be my guess from him.
