Absolutely faultless fabrication skills , you always amaze me . I hope your wonderful work is really appreciated by your clients. ❤ From the UK.
Laying down some magic, such nice workmanship, it must be very satisfying at the end of each day😊
Slowly improving each day, some days are satisfying, others just prepare you for the work involved on what mess has been discovered the day before. but I do sleep well knowing I have done a decent job and actually cared about the repairs.
Thanks again for sharing what you do . Truly amazing workmanship and the way you explain how to make and fit those panels isl so helpful.
Thanks for watching mate hopefully the little tips and tricks help people out like yourself. As I try to share things that I wish i knew when I was starting out and didn't have to self learn for as long to figure out.
As usual.... Bloody Brilliant work mate.....
Cheers mate
Absolutely stunning work.
Always a treat to watch
Young Maestro another exiting and great video well done keep it up
Thanks mate final episode next week for this one as the car is finished now.
Great video 👍 Like the bead roller explanation info of why work piece is wider etc.Nice win on the one piece lower inner quarter 😊
Thanks mate very primitive videos from the old 1 arm bandit 😅, I try to share the little tips and tricks I wish I knew years ago as they should unlock a lot of "ah-hah " that's how you do that/that's why that happens moments.
You don't always get lucky on the 1pc attempts 😅 have to accept defeat and go multi piece but enjoy the challenge of trying to get things in one first!
another solid bit of work. very nice!
Thanks for watching 😊
Great to see you breath new life into an old rusty nugget. Thanks again for producing an informative video.
Gotta properly preserve these little gems so they last another 100 years.
thanks for watching
Super work. Best wishes.
Thanks mate
Always a good night when a new episode comes out ❤
Final episode next week and then back to the cosmo content.
You're a PRO! Amazing panel making skills. Glad I found the channel 👍
Much respect from Texas.
Thanks for stopping by , a little care goes a really long way in this industry 😊
No good bead goes unplanished... 😜 Excellent job, as usual. I'll just have to move to Oz so I can force... uh, "coerce" you in to welding my VW Syncro...
Suprisingly haven't worked on any vw for rust, quite a few porsche, so can imagine the rust out quite the same given they are very similar.
毎回素晴らしいメタルワークですね。日本人としてロータリークーペを復元して下さりうれしく思います。当時この車はスピードは出るがブレーキがプアで止まらない事と若い女性だけを狙った中年の連続殺人犯の愛車として有名でした。
Thanks for watching 😊
Thanks. =)
Thanks for watching 😊
Legendary as per normal Nathan! Can’t wait to win the lottery and send you my B1600 for surgery at your clinic!
Thanks mate I too can't wait to win the lottery so I don't have to work in said clinic 🤣🤣

Always room for improvement ☺
R100 my favourite car awesome work man amazing fabrication
Thanks for watching mate.
Beautiful work!
Cheers mate, improving each day
Another great video
Thanks mate a bit jumbled up as I lost the original intro and a few clips here and there of the floors.
I really enjoyed your videos
Glad they arnt too boring to watch 😅
whenever i see those rust spots under brackets, i think, surely every overlapped spot welded panel is similar, where would you stop. (i guess any rust activity needs inspecting if you go digging for it)
Yeah deff always going to be rusty under anything as it's baremetal, but when you know water has been sitting it's crusty enough to warrant removing to refit
Nathan,
Love your work, great work on the tools and excellent trade skills. What’s the name of your business pls.
Regards
Given that you have pulled the quarters apart, how hard do you think they would be to roll?
I bought a painted shell and want the quarters rolled
I would say it wouldn't like being rolled because the inner and outer are not tight together they have a 5mm gap where there is sealer, the fresh paint also probably won't enjoy being rolled over and will flake off at the lip edge , you might be better off trimming the lip to half the width instead as it's quite wide.
Can you give some tips on welding with tig with the copper weld through primer?
That upol copper is the only one I've found that the tig doesn't even notice is there.
The zinc ones spatter and ruin the tungsten pretty fast.
I'm not great at tig I just use mig wire as filler rod and have it set on 36amps.
Sometimes I'll dial the Amps down if there is more gap than I'd like and then pulse the trigger manually to not burn through.
I've never been comfortable using a foot pedal I feel that's more for thicker welds that matter (rollcages, chassis work and alluminum work) where as the welds I do on the sheet are getting ground off and planished.
@@notevn - any tips on settings etc. would be cool. I tried to tig up my mates rust spots on his windscreen after removal and had to change to mig to get a result.
I'll run through the settings on it when I'm in the shop next as I can't even recall then myself.
I do know The metal has to be real clean. So possibly the surrounding area was still rusty on the backside and it wasn't liking it?
For areas where you don't have access to the backside it's safer to slowly mig though.
@@notevn - yeah nah, I couldn’t get access to the backside as it was the roof. Even though I pulled the lining down and tried to access.
Tig was blowing right through, tried changing to a smaller tungsten and reducing the Amos to around 29amps with no love.
But yeah I imagine cleanliness of the backside and residual paint were causing blow through.
if youre ever doing a 3 coupe I have 2 NOS door skins for sale. Want 5k NZD for them. Keep it in mind.
I have a 3 coupe myself, thankfully the doors are good but I'll ask around there's always someone needing doors.
@@notevn Cheers man.
