I have actually been using rogaine 😂and I find it to be better than the expensive vegamour.. give it a shot! I don't have amazing hair but it is better
I'm a stylist and blow drying is not harmful to the hair if you don't put your dryer on the hottest setting and if you keep your dryer moving from 12" away from your hair!!
Shea, love your hair hacks. I use disposable shower caps (free ones in hotel bathroom amenities) and use them for deep conditioning (plastic wrap). Same thing for overnight dry shampoo (less mess on the pillowcase).
Love your ideas but as a scuba diver I use to put conditioner in my hair to protect it and keep it untangled. I no longer do it because its harmful to the coral reef and fish because of the chemicals.
I just had to pause your video to say that wrapping your hair in plastic wrap has been around for many years, my sister is a retired hair stylist and would do this in her own salon on clients hair that was damaged and then put them under the Heat dryer for about 15 minutes, I still do this with my hair about once a month but I’ll just go outside in the sun for it work best…just thought I’d share this…now back to your video Shea…❤️❤️
I think it’s so funny that things we always did forever ago are suddenly these brilliant new ideas. I’ve always put on a shower cap on after applying a treatment & then wrapped my head in a towel. I remember my mum doing this on my hair after oiling it (regular olive oil) 50 years ago. Shower cap works just as well as cling wrap & is reusable. I remember my hairdresser clipping curls while they cooled years ago too.
I started your clip and flip method of curling and then when I go to bed at night I clip my hair up on the top of my head so that I’m not laying on it and thus flattening out my curls - this has been crazy successful for me and my curls last at least four days straight with NO hairspray, mouse, or anything!! ❤
how is the saran wrap thing any different from putting a plastic cap followed by heating cap on your head? Regarding the blow drying, this may be true for those with straight or wavy hair. For those of us with coily hair, blow drying is NOT the best. It's ok sometimes but continued use isn't great. Just saying in case there's anyone that is watching with kinky or coily hair. Now that trick re: clipping the curls I want to try that when I straighten my hair because my hair doesn't hold a curl well unless it's my natural curl. So i'm filing this in my pocket for winter when humidity is gone!
I've seen that for the first time in the 70's except they used one of those 70's plastic shower caps. Disposable ones today would make more sense than reaching for plastic wrap 😊
I really enjoy your videos l! I wanted to know if you have heard if this hair growth product works for men? Also I appreciate you letting us know what products that have CBD in them. I can't take CBD products. So thanks for doing your research. And, those of us over 50/60 need as many beauty products as possible! Thanks for always providing a discount code!
Shea.. I loved this video and got some amazing tips. I wish you styled your hair like the “before” picture..I don’t think how you showed the change is accurate-but I think your hair is just stunning.
No Vegamour for me....tried it & it was an EPIC fail. Btw....it is nearly impossible to get your $ back when the product fails to work for you. Highly unhappy w/whole experience.
I have a lot of hair and it wants to be straight. I do curl it and it looks great for about an hour if it’s humid - the curls relax quite a bit if not humid, but at least it keeps a mild curl. I do have a couple places in my head of hair that just goes straight, no matter what.
You’ve got absolutely beautiful hair Shea, I’ve always loved 🥰 it from the beginning, it has grown so fast from when you cut it shorter going back awhile ago now, so what you’re using must be working well for you, I’m not sure if that brand ships internationally though. Cheers from Queensland Australia 🇦🇺🦘🐨💖💖💖
The blow drying idea is absolutely true. I have try both ways air dry for 6 months and blow drying and tge blow drying us better for my hair type similarly to yours.
Hi Shea- Happy Saturday! This video doesn’t load from the Subscription “tab” (other videos do.) I could still watch it, just had to go to your channel first then click on the video from there. Idk if this is fixable, but wanted to let you know. 💕
Certain conditioners, hair products, and sunscreens can cause damage to pool water and affect the chemicals. Thus causing the pool owner to have issues with their water. Always check the products with the pool owner if you’re going to someone’s private home pool. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had to scrub our liner and adjust our chemicals because people use those spray on sunscreens which wreak havoc on pool liner, and the chemicals in the pool. Speaking from experience. I’ve maintained our pool for 35+ years.
I would never expect nor would I want my guests to report to me what products they are using before they swim in my pool. Part of being a pool owner and the responsibility that goes with inviting people over to your pool is the maintenance of the chemicals after. Like, if someone came to your pool and said they use Redken conditioner and you think it might make the water to be out of whack would you then say "Sorry no pool for you!" Your guests must love you. 😂 Speaking from experience as a pool owner for 10 + years. Along with tons of fun pool parties and no serious issues with the pool, without my guests feeling judged for personal choices in self care.
@@ashleys4652 we rarely invite people over lol we’re not really much into hosting. Usually it’s just family. And they don’t mind they know how I am. it’s also why I’ve only had to replace my pool liner once in 35 years. To each his own. I didn’t get my pool for other people to swim in. I got it for me. But I’m glad you have fun pool parties! I’m just not that kind of person. 😅
Some other tips if any of you guys have hair like mine. I have really long dead straight fine hair and no "protective style" is ever good enough for me. 1. I sleep with a silk bonnet. . I sleep with my hair loose in the bonnet and wake up looking lush soft and smooth. 2. If I am having a particularly longer and hotter shower I use a shower cap with terry cloth lining, it absorbs any water caused from humidity of the shower and keeps my hair dry from moisture = more wash-free days. 3. I don't know if this will apply for all hair types but I apply shampoo only to my scalp, never directly on my hair. The lather washes down and I just use my hands to gently wash it through. I promise your hair will feel softer. 4. I'm not about to put dryer sheets to my hair lol I just use that oplaplex bonding oil if my hair happens to needs a little smoothening. Now in all honesty, I'm fortunate to have very manageable hair naturally so it won't work for everyone. But give it a go!
did you try Augustinus Bader's bc i just saw a vid on that & if so which one u like better? I don't want to get both bc i wouldn't know which one works better. tx (my main concern is the thnnng on the sides) tx

I don't know how to take that quiz on vegamour. I need personalized assistance. For instance, the first question -- how would you rate your hair strands? Find, Medium, Thick. I lost all my thick strands first, then my medium strands, then my fine strands were falling out. I combed my hair into a white sink so I could see how much hair is lost when combing and that is how I know this.
I like vegamour for the new hair growth, but I like kerastase for everything else. I haven’t compared the scalp hair growth line between the two however . Vegamour has worked for me to grow some new hair, but my other comment on this video is it won’t change your hair texture…nothing will give you a head of hair like here’s unless you’re born with it :(

Try coconut oil. It's reef friendly and protects the hair nicely.

Agree! I had a book of hairstyles when I was young, more than 20 years ago, and the twist hairstyle was in there 😅

Much easier to use a cheap shower cap...still holds in the heat. :)

Yay!! Thank you Shylo!!!!!
It's true! Blown-dried hair lasts longer clean...1-2 days longer 😊
My 4 day air dried hair is so clean feeling, smelling, and not oily at all.
I’m on my third month using Vegamore regular Gro and the gummies and I definitely see new hair growth and my hair overall has never looked better.
I’m sorry but I bought 4 bottles of vegamour and did nothing on me 🙁

Is Vegamour a strong smelling shampoo/conditioner/mask?
Also have you tried the gummy’s for ur hair in place of the serum?
Yes. It does have a fragrance, but it doesn’t last throughout the day. I’d describe it as an almost candy-like scent.
@@BartonEnglish1 thank you. In place of the hair serum have u used the hair gummy’s & do they work?

I like to spray dry shampoo on my satin pillow case 😊.
I usually let my hair air dry about 80%, then I blow dry.

you should take your hair up, to show changes.
Tried Vegamour grow hair serum 3 pack. Not worth it. Very expensive. Gave me spotted baby roots in spots and stoped growing. Would never re buy.
Use dry shampoo right after you first blow dry your hair and that’ll help you go longer between washes
anyone try vegamour for chemo hair?
Don't people in America wash their hair everyday?!😮 What a surprise.
