I've seen fashion trends. Come and go and let me tell you something going through the 70's, 80's, 90' and 2000. It always comes back. I have a turtleneck sweater, just like yours. That you're wearing, and I bought that in the 80's. Saved it and it comes back. Seems like a lot of the 90's stuff is back on style.

This was a great video to get us over 30 gals back in the loop. I love the wide-leg jeans with cropped jacket and great belt. We all need to freshen up our closets with a few modern pieces. FYI chunkier gals can look great in the cropped tops without showing skin. It’s much more flattering than oversized tops that make us look bigger.

I think red and still be used in fresh, modern combinations like red, orange and burgundy. Deep red with a light oral or red and chocolate brown can be fresh, especially in accessories. Red with toffee and caramel colors were popular the last two years and I plan to get a little more mileage out of those combos. Red also works in the context of a collegiate or preppy vibe. And I am a fan of light pinks with yellow-greens as a fresh sweet and sour effect.
In general, accessories feel like a more integrated part of an outfit.
Yes, belting overlapped oversized blazers was popular last year and I do like it for this year too. Overlapping cardigans, vests and dusters was popular too. The garment has to be large enough to overlap and the fabric has to be soft enough to gather and drape without looking stiff and boxy.
I loved your explanation of how western is morphing. Well done.
And I like your presentation style, particularly how you get to the point quickly. It makes me feel like watching is a good use of my time. ❤

I love suede but living in the UK our weather can be on the rainy side and unfortunately suede and dampness don't really mix. Chocolate brown is one of my favourite fall colours I tend to gravitate towards dark rich browns in favour of black as black in a bit harsh for my colouring.
