Can you send me all the product you used for this style? I want to do mines like that. How did you start the top by a three strain braid then a twist?.
@@dp7047 She start out with 3 strands and plats it a little. Then she splits 1 strand into the other 2 strands and twists the rest of the hair. I hope this helps 😉.
Thank you for this video. The puffy roots are the main reason why I don't do my twist. I'm going to give it a try this weekend. I'll let you know the outcome. Btw you're beautiful and your hair is gorgeous 🌹 Update: I tried this method and it works! I beaded my twist last night and love it 🌹
Beautiful I got my hair done like this right now and it seems that my hair keeps growing longer and longer with this and my hair doesn't have stress on it from the tension of fake braids, it takes $200 or more just to get by hair braided from a shop so I don't need it I will just continue to twist my hair and it's really pretty I like it because it's simple and it saves money, I wash my twists every two weeks grease and restyle
that little section of hair looks so full and cute. others want volume and you seek to diminish yours. nothing wrong with it, bc it's still there when you want it! I guess i just see how healthy your hair appears.
Your skin and hair are on point. Wish I did this style before I loss my edges and heat damage my hair messing with these hairdressers and African braiders
Use to do 2 strand twist all the time. But right now I am waiting on my hair to grow a few more inches before I start back twisting it again. I also enjoy mini braids too.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I’ve been getting so many single strand knots with mini twists whenever I do them. I coil my ends at the end of the twists and moisturize as much as possible with them in. Maybe I need a serious trim. Such a beautiful and versatile style
Yes ma’am because bayyyyybe I’ve been trying to figure out a way to prevent my twist from puffing at the roots. Idk why that never occurred to me. It’s just like when you do Marley twist with added hair. Thank you for this clip! I’m trying on my next set of mini twist 😍😍😍😍
❤❤❤❤❤Gorgeous!!!! I just cut my hair all off yesterday to have a fresh restart hoping to to grow it out and be able to do styles just like this one. This is absolutely gorgeous!!!!
I twisted my hair for many years. Yes, it grew but the outcome was brittle and splitting ends. Stopped twisting. Will try this Moisturizer after a good cut and try twisting again. Because I love the style. It's good to go!
Hi. I started my natural journey with double stand twist in 2003. I didn't chop my hair off either. I used African Royale braid spray to moisturize my hair and keep my hair from breaking off. I've used it since the 90s. I still were double stand twist. It's my thing until I decide to stretch my hair and wear it down. I think it's worth a try when you go back to twist. I hope you have better results this time around.
This is my go to style. It last longer and I keep it in for 2 weeks, wash and repeat my hair has grown tremendously less stress on my hair
Yessss, this is how I grew my hair out. Try to go 3 weeks leaving them in if you can. Good luck!!!🥰
I need to do this

Do you know how long I’ve been looking for a video that explained that?!? Thanks for coming thru sis!!!!! 🙌🏽
Yes 👍
I still can't see what she's doing with her hands at the top
@@dp7047 She start out with 3 strands and plats it a little. Then she splits 1 strand into the other 2 strands and twists the rest of the hair. I hope this helps 😉.
@@dp7047 I start braiding for about an inch then I begin to 2 strand twist, it helps keep my roots from being puffy.
Thanks for sharing Sis!!
This is nice but I will keep my puffy roots because I like an easy take down without unbraiding.
This is the ONLY way I do my mini twists. Im glad to see it's being shared. Esp for us 4c-z gals
So I need some edge control and start out with a braid. Thank you.
I will start using the edge control...but I have always started out braiding then twist rest of the way down🤷🏾♀️

THIS IS HOW I HAVE MINE RIGHT NOW. ITS THE BEST WAY TO GIVE A MORE CLEAN LOOK, I ALWAYS DO IT THIS WAY.
My favorite style I been rocking for years. Definitely my go to style and my hair is thick so I have to start with three strand first😂❤❤❤❤
Slay Queen! 👑👸🏿💫 You really can't go wrong with mini twist.💚 One of my favorite styles.
The patient and the effort that you put into taking care of
Loving it. I've been pulling the two strands tight thinking that would work. This Is way better. Thanks.
Lord I needed this when I first went natural in the early 2000’s! 😂 Great job!

I just do the twists, I didn't know anything about the braid THEN twist. Thanks and mini twists are definitely my favorite go-to protection style
Yes love the braided roots technique. It even works for chunky twists and will survive several workouts with no puffy roots in sight.
I agreed 👍
Your skin and hair are on point. Wish I did this style before I loss my edges and heat damage my hair messing with these hairdressers and African braiders
You hair is bomb nice and moisturize , I'm doing some moisturizer training to my hair.

Thank you sis for teaching me how to do twists..my natural hair is growing and I'm falling in love with my hair... ❤
This is so helpful. Puffy roots are the made reason I don’t wear my natural hair. I see it requires time and patience, also!😩
So beautiful without fake hair ❤.
