I need more videos like this! I’ve been racking my brain about how to style my hair while working out, and it just dawned on me today that I do not need to fight my hair texture. I can literally wear natural styles that are not as affected by humidity the way a silk press is. So simple I don’t know why it took sooo long to click. I like how straight hair looks on me but I sweat , and I don’t want to sacrifice working out for the sake of my hair I can do both! And these styles are sooo pretty.
This video was extremely helpful! I have been “natural” for about a year and a half and truly appreciate ideas that I can do with my own hair without adding any hair to it. These were beautiful styles. ❤
I'm white but i love learning and seeing how to naturally care for hair without harsh and ecpensive chemicals. Im allergic to ksthon cg so i research induan, african traditions and methods for beauty, hair and skin care and tips.
I’m glad to see in this video, it shows how our hair can be beautifully styled for all occasions instead of wild and unkempt for all occasions. We’ve been styling our hair neat and polished for decades and I we’ll continue to show the new generation that we care about our appearance and that being neat and polished does not mean we’re trying to be white. Many rely too much on the misconception that wearing it loose and uncombed, is our culture; and others rely too much on tons of long straight weaves and wigs.
Exactly!!!! In our eastern culture also tidy neat well tied hair were the norm until the last century when we all got independence from colonisation but our minds still are ruled by the standards of West about appearance and vanity. Messy and unkempt is considered cool and progressive whereas following traditional style, may it be in clothing or hairstyling is deliberately advertised as orthodox and regressive so uncool in today's world. In reality truth can't be farther from that perception.
I’ve been very fortunate to have had all types of people style my hair in different countries and, believe it or not, the best have been Philippinos and Dominicans. I wouldn’t insult anyone by telling them I need someone that looks like me to do my natural hair, I would at least give them the benefit of the doubt or ask questions of them. I’ve had my hair ruined in black salons more than once or twice, simply because they did not listen to me; that is one reason why I stopped getting relaxers almost 20 years ago.
My God!!!! So beautiful and versatile and elegant and original!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍 Why can't American African women embrace their God given natural hair like this and flaunt them in so many elegant ways??!!! Having wigs and straight blond fake hair looks so cheap, unnatural and needy ...
took my extremely thick 4c hair to a local beauty school they assigned me a white girl, I said this isn't going to work I'm going to need a black girl. Do you know the chic went and cried in the bathroom like I had cursed her out, had people thinking I miss treated her. Luckily my old beautician is an instructor there and explained my hair type to her boss.
I mean u judged her ability before she even tried. Youre literally like that woman named Robin who went viral bc she dismissed a hispanic apprentice and the white owner kicked her (Robin) out. You should have asked if white girl knew how to do our hair. I had one do a silk press on me and she did just fine
@@THEDOORIZCLOSEDexactly, i see many white girls online defining 4c curls and doing braids/protective styles on black people! it was rude of op to assume that she couldn’t do her hair.
@@oliviab.9105 yes. Hella rude. Next time she should also ask for a specific stylist before setting an appointment. “Who does braids, silk presses etc?” “What kind of work does does ___ do?” Thats how i go about it. It really isnt ab the color cuz sometimes it be the bald black ones who will destroy your hair just like they did theirs
@@THEDOORIZCLOSED thanks for telling me I'm judgmental while being so yourself. I don't know how beauty school works, but I see you do. I had a white woman perm my hair once and my hair came out in patches I had to see dermatologist because my scalp was damaged. The dermatologist, who was a white (are you ok with me using that word) man asked a black dermatologist, who was a woman in the same office for recommendations for stylists then came back in the room, he not his nurse or assistant, and gave me some numbers on his card, and it turns out that all 3 numbers were to black beauticians. Also, my old beautician who is an instructor at the beauty school not only agreed with me but pick someone who could handle my hard to do hair.
Jesus is coming back. Are you born again? If not secure your eternity today. You do not have to go to hell. Jesus paid the price for all your sins. If you want to be born again Say the following prayer but you also have to believe it: Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins that you was buried and rose from the dead the third day. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
Yes! 4c hairstyles that don’t involve twist outs!
Because real 4C girlies KNOW the struggle and twist outs don’t work out like a 4b and down
Sis had the baby strapped while doing her hair. That's how we do it. Fabulous!!!

I love the looks, however, my 4c hair laughs at me trying to use a comb to part my hair. Ha-Ha!
What braiding style would you suggest for someone who has scalp psoriasis?
All the styles were beautiful but they all needed moisture on them.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Which cream did u use first when u started ,the name please?

@@THEDOORIZCLOSED for sure! the white girl might be better than the 20 year old salon that does mediocre work🤷♀️
