Big Sur Spearfishing - Vermilion City

Just got back from two days of diving in Big Sur, California where I was able to get my personal best vermilion rockfish and shoot some deep fish all the way down to 65 feet.

Nice reds--Sad not a single abalone, urchin, sea star, limpet-not even in the holes. Plenty of otters though

Wow, great footage! What kind of mount or sleeve are you using to attach your flashlight to your glove or wrist? It looks like your light is attached without any lanyard that could get snagged, which seems like a safe way to carry your light.

I've found that its easiest to keep a flashlight on a drawstring cord around the wrist and make sure you aren't sticking that hand into any holes! Sleeves can be annoying because sometimes the flashlight slips out and you don't have as much control in terms of direction for it either!
