most atheists, agnostics, sceptics, deep thinkers, rational/ logical persons will find buddhism the most accessible religion of all. its more like a philosophy, how to be happier, without all the nonsense. buddha was a skeptic too, he even said , don't literally take everything what he said, he told us to adapt, evolve, and change if its wrong, that's just like the rationale of science!... of course, there are many radical branches/ flaws of Buddhism coz it was an ancient school of thought, and interpreted through hundreds of generations. branches like vijrayana , mahayama n all doesn't make some sense. but the original hinayana school of thought. that! we can learn so many from it.
Buddha was a philosopher too, so I believe that there is a possibility of him being a scientist too

Actually almost all the people i know, who are avid readers, deep thinkers,etc always tend towards Buddhism sooner or later. i think there's a charm in it. mainly coz there are no superstitions, supernatural, miracles, flying guys, winged chariot, pujas, hell, n all those nonsense!

The best thing that ever happened to Islam was its translation into English. No more mysteries in Arabic - just pure lunacy in English.
The problem is: all translations of the quran are scams to fool people to think that quran is wise and sophisticated. Arabic reveals its utter stupidity.

Great video! Unfortunately most muslims probably won't even watch it carefully and take it seriously. Most religious people intuitively realise how dangerous such ideas are for them, so they avoid them even if those ideas are correct.
Few people put truth over their well-being. Which is why so many people accept bad ideas simply because their community believes in those bad ideas. Large groups can therefore become safe places for bad ideas to survive. And they don't survive because the ideas make sense. They survive, because noone dares to upset the group. It can be dangerous to upset your group. That's why people like you should be admired. It took a lot of courage and intellectual honesty to do what you did. Most people seem to lack such honesty and courage.

Those aren't scholars. They are apologists i.e. people who make something fit that does not fit. You can't have honest scholars, who live in muslim countries and who are muslims, since there will always be an incentive to spin the facts to make islam look good and to not upset other muslims (that can be very dangerous as we all know).

The problem starts with something that has nothing to do with islam: There's still no evidence for any god or gods. None...
So we're already off to a bad start. But even if we assume that there was a god, then the question is how you can prove that he has anything to do with Mohammed and those odd islamic writings. I don't see how you could prove this, since it happend 1400 years ago.
So far i didn't rely on anything someone told me (i have my own koran at home by the way). Muslims will try to explain this, but all attempts i've seen so far were huge failures. The muslims i've talked to were very bad at understanding what evidence even is. They kept mentioning things that aren't able to prove that the koran was devinely inspired.
I've been actively looking for truth for well over a decade now and i've become quite a lot better at understanding what is necessary to show that something is actually true and how to examine claims. The scientific process, logical fallacies, biases, epistemology are obviously big parts of that. Strangely enough most muslims have no clue about these topics, almost as if they weren't even interested in figuring out what the most reliable way to examine reality is. Almost as if they are only interested in making excuses for their believes with no real interest in what's actually true. That would explain why their arguments just aren't convincing.

Please read the Gospel of John and the New Testament - unlike the Quran, our book is not the literal words of God. It's a library of books written and compiled by men. Our God is loving, and desires that all people come to Him. He does not mislead anyone, but gives eternal life to all who ask Him and seek Him. Clearly, this second stage talks of different beings. Those are a different type of creatures. They are not clay. They are water creatures.
“A lineage of water”
Or in Arabic “سلالة من ماء"
It is clearly a family tree of water creatures.
“THEN” a third stage of creation.
“He gave them shape”
Now it evolved into the form of a creature in the animal kingdom. Including human forms. But not exclusively.

They gained conscious thought and behavior.
“And he gave YOU hearing and sight”
Now, it is human. It is you.
Only now it is human. After all the stages described.
To me, that literally screams evolution.

Also, people have sailed the seas for thousands of years before Muhammad and would have observed rivers flowing into salty bodies of water. Also, if you read the tafsirs on some of these verses, the tafsir scholars actually mention a land division between the two bodies of water. It is never obsolete. Human interpretation changes over time as it is simple nature. We tend to over complicate messages over time making a big deal out of everything. Classical Arabic is the language of the of the Quran, Muslims want to understand it, but since many of us speak different languages and follow a different society, we want to be able to understand it in a way we can, thus creating many different alterations of the Quran. People are negligent of the true way however. The true way, is the way the Prophet SAW conveyed the Quran to us, and Classical Arabic is the true way to read it.

The Qur’anic reference to ‘creation in pairs’ is actually a reference to the fact that every phenomenon in this world, whether relating to living things or not, is created and designed in such a way that if taken independently, it remains incomplete from one aspect or the other. Every thing is complemented only when it is studied in combination with its other complementary ‘half’.
What about the cow part when there are Aurochs, zebues, Bison, Buffalo, yacks, Hefers, Long horns, Scottish Highlanders, Indy Cows, Galloway, White parks, Angus, Aberdeen, and Holstuen Friesian.
I am an atheist but a lot of the arguments mentioned here can be easily refuted. For instance, there is the problem of language being prone to interpretation and so I can alter the meaning of a verse to fit my reality but this does raise the question of maybe this so-called god intended the best interpretations. For instance, "he made the sun a shining light and the moon a light". Realize that he did not state whether or not the moon itself was a source of light and you can argue that since he said the sun was a "shining" light and the moon just a light this author or lets say God understands the distinction and the bottom line was just that both sources emit light whether it be through reflection or being the source itself and the fact that he didn't say shining light twice to describe both means that he understands the distinction. imo your videos would be more convincing if you provide a more impartial and balanced discussion.

I don't think that is ignorance, we should always look at both sides and all interpretations. The claim about the moon and sun itself, like all claims mentioned in the video, are open to interpretation. But this claim in specific, it was not hard at all to bend it to the real facts. I believe it would be a stronger argument for this channel to give a claim made by the Quran that is completely absurd in relation to the real fact and if someone were to alter the interpretation to fit the facts it would seem very intense and not right if that makes sense; then you can call that ignorance. Otherwise, I wasn't completely convinced by this video. To be fair though some claims seemed absurd but reading them in Arabic (I speak Arabic) they sounded a bit less non-sensical. I like to argue both sides, and this video lacks that balanced discussion deeming it less convincing in my opinion. He just seems to be fueled by hatred towards Islam rather than looking at it through an impartial lens, which may be what he is going for but I just personally think makes him just slightly less credible, again.

One of the saddest things to me about history is when you'll learn more about a country or people through another's history.
You can look up some small country maybe 3000 or 15 hundred years ago and get info on their king and religion. But if you look into their more popular neighbor's or empire's history, they talk about trading relations, routes, language barriers, knowledge, relations and so on.
But if you look into that small country alone they don't bring any of this up, even if you specifically look up their country's relation to that neighbor or religion. They'll just say: There were some muslims in this country or that their neighbor was muslim. But nothing about their shared stories or how their people saw each other.

I have recently met a family of Muslim background. They seemed good people, however something curious and to me deeply backward and misogynistic happened when I was invited to their home for lunch.
My husband, my son and I went to their home.
Immediately I was asked to go to a seperate room to have lunch with the wife, and my husband went to another area to eat lunch with the other men.
I was asked to stay there; separated from my husband and son.
To be honest,
I was about to leave, but then I stayed with the woman and respectfully asked a few questions.
I asked her, is this part of Islamic culture? She said yes. Then I asked, do you like it? is it ok with you, you get separated and I get separated from my husband to eat? She replied with a sad face “ I would rather not saying anything”.
I detected fear; but maybe I was mistaken. I could see tough she was very unhappy
I know you were a Muslim, and I do not mean dispespect, but I found this to be repulsive and deeply misogynistic among other things I learned about the quran. I was shocked to find out that in Islam men are allowed to beat their wives.
In my studies I found many obscene things Islam.
Anyway, I am sure there are some Muslims that do not segragate based on gender.

If you read the most trusted Islamic scholars in the tafsirs and Muhammad in sahih hadiths, they agree with his understanding of the verses (and hence contradict basic modern science). I guess the best Islamic scholars and Muhammad were lying about what they thought the Quran means? The problem (well, one of many) with the Quran is that if you have vague verses, you can re-interpret them any way you want. The Quran does not say what happens at each stage or in each part, therefore, it's not convincing to scientists because science is somewhat exact... Imagine if the verse in question was in biology books, as it is found in the Quran - what could you learn/do with that verse? Nothing. It is useless and uninformative.
