The Quran contains many vague verses, which are fully consistent with the ancient and incorrect views, however, being vague (which is NOT scientific to start with), allows Muslims to re-interpret them as needed. For example, when it says that the Sun and Moon float in orbits AND it mentions day and night in the same verse, this is fully consistent with the geocentric system. However, because today we know that the Sun also orbits in our galaxy, Muslims jump on that. But, if you're honest to the source and it's historical context, you would not argue that it's talking about a galactic year (which is ~250 million years). I another verse (21:30) it speaks of the Earth and heavens being separated, which is exactly what the local creation myths said - so, someone familiar with history and science will see that these simply influenced the Quran, but the verse is scientifically wrong. Muslims cannot allow the Quran to contain a single mistake, so they just re-interpret the verse, and/or science. If anyone else did that they would call them out, of course.

I'm an apostate too. I was Muslim till 2021 but so much disturbed and puzzled with nonsense things. Like why would Allah punish innocent people just following other religions? They weren't born Muslim they got what their parents and family taught them. Gender discrimination is wildly remarked there, a woman has no value without being a mother. Homosexuality is quite forbidden but polygamy is highly praised. They especially stop women by hijab and from leading roles. What is happening in Afghanistan, women got banned from education and general mass. They also inspire terrorism. So I hate Islam. Islam destroyed my family too
I think you have not understand Islam properly. Allah does not give punishment to those who are born as non Muslim because when a child is born he is born as a Muslim no matter what his parents were but after the child grows and attains both physical as well as mental maturity then he is no more a child, no more innocent. He knows about good or bad even too a little extent that is quite beneficial to live in a society. But when he grows into an adult surely he might have gained knowledge. If that person even after gaining knowledge did not feel the need to understand his purpose in life then he is a fool. He is led astray by the satan. In the past I’d be too scared to watch this because I would be scared that the evidence would make me disbelieve, and just the thought of me becoming a disbeliever was extremely scary to me. That is the result of the indoctrination and trauma that’s done to children from such a young age in the religion. You’re told that you can’t even question or ponder on the possibility that anything in the Quran could be wrong, or you’ll burn in hell for eternity.
I was a practicing Muslim for about 25 years, but now, at 43, I find myself questioning certain things about my faith. A few years ago, I read the Quran deeply, and while it has many valuable teachings, I also came across parts that didn’t sit well with me. For example, there are verses about using slaves and stories of the Prophet allowing soldiers to take the wives of their enemies. These made me wonder: if the Quran is truly the word of God, why would such things be included? Could it be that, over time, errors crept in as the words were passed down? Some descriptions of Jannah (heaven) also puzzle me, like the idea of having companions (Hoor al-Ayn) or rivers of alcohol. It makes me question if paradise is supposed to be a place for indulgence, like living a Las Vegas or Pattaya lifestyle. These thoughts have left me feeling confused and troubled at times. Even with these doubts, I still live as a Muslim. I pray five times a day, give to charity, fast, and try to live a peaceful life with my family. But I’ve come to realize that nothing is perfect, not even religious texts. Instead of digging too deep or trying to prove whether everything is true, I focus on taking the good lessons and living a positive life. I’ve also started to appreciate all religions. I believe every faith has something valuable to offer, and we need them all in society to keep us grounded and united. I admire Christianity for its message of forgiveness, Hinduism for its spirituality and connection to nature, and I have great respect for Israel and the Jewish people for their resilience and traditions. I think we’re all part of one big system. Humans, animals, and plants, we all depend on each other. Nature reminds us that we’re not in control of everything but are part of something bigger. At the end of the day, I’ve accepted that it’s hard-maybe even impossible-to know if God exists or which religion is right. I think when we die, our life just stops, and we return to the same nothingness we were in before birth. So, my goal is to live a meaningful life, embrace the good in all beliefs, and do my part to create a kind and peaceful world.

Captive women for his night time pleasure. He had people tortured to find out where their valuables were kept. I disagree with any attempt to limit freedom of speech. That being said I feel sad not for the maker of this video who is certainly making his money but for the people who rejoiced at the opportunity to reinforce their preexisting prejudice. At best he showed that some of the 1000 year old books written to explain the Quranic verses are not in sync with today's knowledge (Dah you think ?). Other techniques used to trick people are filtration and alteration of information, omission, misquotation, purposeful misleading translations, etc in a lack of a better expression; he is full of BS. Let me pick the first one as an example. Yes the Quran used the word Lamps or Lanterns (Masabee7) to describe some of the luminous objects in our universe. Guilty as charged? Now you tell me what do you use a lamp or lantern for? if you answered to illuminate your way or to know your position in the dark give yourself a pat on the back. It's a no brainer that stars are used to tell your position here on earth and in the dark skies above. For example known Pulsars signals are used to triangulate position (Check Quran 16:16), actually you can argue that without light (visible or invisible to the naked eye) you can't tell where anything is at. Now let's not pretend that this is the only verse in the Quran about the stars. This clown also didn't tell you about the hundreds of other verses that describe the universe and various celestial objects that cover pulsars, black holes, white dwarfs, etc. here is one to finish with, the quran says in chapter Al Najm (the star). "Wan Najmi Itha hawa" , rough translations "I swear by the star when it falls", certainly most old translations use the world "hawa" in the sense fall. They look up they see stars above and ya they think they will fall. But is that the only meaning for that word? The word "Hawa" also means "disappear". A victim star in close proximity to a black hole or a neutron star can fall into it and even disappear as if it never existed. It can disappear from our visible universe by the fast expansion of the universe (becomes out of reach) and yes there is another verse about the expansion of the universe. It uses the literal word "expand". But I find the world "Hawa" to be much more than that, It also means "emptied". What an expression ! Glory to you Allah the unseen creator of heavens and earth. Indeed the Quran is so heavy the more you learn the more you realize how little you know. What do you think happens to the stars before they die. They run out of fuel and collapse on themselves, and depending on size can possibly result in a white dwarf, or super nova which can look like a splash of a painted rose resulting in heavier elements (iron and above) scattered. Folks all what i just said is also mentioned in the Quran. In fact the verse and chapter of "Al Hadeed" ( Iron) correspond to the atomic weight and numbers of Fe. Coincidence! Maybe but when you keep adding up these coincidences you will start looking like a clown if you stay in denial. Kind of a person who denies God's existence and doesn't realize that the mere questioning of His existence is a proof of His existence. Islam is the only religion that encourages if not mandates that you read and learn for a reason, the more you read and learn the more you realize the divinity of the message.

I agree with that quote and I’m an agnostic that’s swings more to atheism. But I do think it’s good to embrace the idea of a god, not a religion. Leaving your mind open to the prospect of a god or intelligent designer, accident by an intelligence etc is in its nature more open minded than not. And I would consider being open minded as rational.

Agnosticism is about not having real knowledge to firmly state non-existence (gnosticism is the flip side) and this term doesn't place one on the fence concerning personal belief in one. I would say that everyone either accepts or rejects a gods existence so one should either declare one way or another rather than hiding behind the term agnosticism (which a lot of people do) You by your own description are an agnostic atheist rather than an agnostic theist. The universe wasn't fine-tuned for us (humans), after all the universe was in existence for billions of years before our own solar system became a reality, and it will be there when life on this little rock of ours is no more! Once life got started though, that life had to adapt to the environments it found itself in. And the vast majority of life that had once existed is no more because it couldn't adapt. Also, just look at our own solar system, over 99 percent of it is inhabitable for life, so your argument about a finely-tuned universe is actually absurd.

The same result is with the Mass and Energy of the early universe (neutrinos, photons, atoms, dark matter) were not evenly distributed to a precision of an incomprehensible precision of 1 part in 10to10to123, the universe would be hostile to life of any kind. Our universe permits physical, interactive life only because these numbers have been independently exquisitely balanced on a razor's edge. And what is even more convincing is that these conditions are initial conditions. They are present in the Big Bang itself, and therefore these numbers and quantities cannot be explained by any kind of evolution because they are initial conditions that are present right at the very beginning of the universe and therefore are not subject to cosmic evolution or any other kind of prior scientific explanation. There are two alternatives that evolutionists tried to counter fine-tuning. Physical Necessity and Chance. According to the physical necessity alternative, the universe MUST be life-permitting. The precise values of these numbers (mentioned above) of the constants and quantities could not be otherwise. But, is a life-prohibiting universe impossible? Is this plausible? It's not only possible. It's far more likely than a life-permitting universe. The constants and quantities are not determined by the laws of nature. There is absolutely no reason or evidence to suggest that fine-tuning is necessary. According to chance alternative, did we just get sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky to have just an absolutely perfect universe for life? Of course not. It is just silly and irrational to conclude this. The probability involved is so ridiculously remote as to put the fine-tuning well beyond the reach of chance. So, why is the Universe fine-tuned for life? Given the implausibility of physical "Necessity and Chance", the conclusion we get from a universe that is fine-tuned for life, is because it was DESIGNED in that way. This is the logical conclusion we get from what we observe and here where the evidence leads us and we should go where they lead us. That's the definition of honesty, to go where the evidence leads. The fine-tuning of the universe is the most powerful evidence for a Creator. Again, you can deny that. It doesn`t mean anything. Your own worldview is not the ultimate reality. You must come up with a satisfactory, observable evidence-based explanation of how this universe, so astonishingly fine-tuned, was possible via pure, unguided, blind, random, mindless natural causes. Of course, if you want to do that you must "suspend your rationality in order to explain how this is possible." - David Hume.

I got to know a guy who is Muslim and he is very friendly toward me to the point that he invited me to has dinner with his family when i had oversea assignment at his country. Then as the end, i stayed a bit longer to say goodbye to his parent. It's not censorship. The RUclips video counter has always lagged behind the amount of comments or likes. Apparently, this is to do with the verification system they use. Just click on any popular channel's newly released video and you will see the same thing.
Google the parent company has a history of faking numbers, if you look at the amount of likes if doesn't match with other video's. I'm sure it's many times higher than stated.
One of my favourite blunders of Muhammad/Allah is on the topic of fasting. Quran 2:187 tells Muslims when to fast. They need to wait "until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread". If you live in northern countries such a Norway, Finland, Iceland, northern Russia or Canada, it doesn't get dark at night and north of the Arctic Circle (half of Norway...) the Sun doesn't set for weeks at times. Seems like Allah didn't know much about basic astronomy and geography and Muslims had to come up with man-made solutions to the problem. The Quran is supposed to be a book for all people and all time, but Muslims can't use it to fast in those countries (and they had to come up with man-made ideas to fix this little issue, that the all-knowing creator of the universe didn't seem to be aware of). If Allah knew that the Earth was spherical, rotating and inclined to the Ecliptic, he could have easily come up with a much simpler rule, like 12h/12h fast. Also, Muhammad didn't know that the Earth was spherical - in a sahih hadiths he says that Allah comes down to the lowest heaven at night, but it's always night somewhere on Earth, so therefore does Allah spend ALL of his time in the lowest heaven?

Unless you also don't know what the word tahara means... For what it's worth, It means purity in the sense of cleanliness, not whether a substance is unmixed and unadulterated. It actually represents an entire chapter of Islamic jurisprudence. Cleanliness is a very important part of Islam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) even emphasised how important it was by saying that cleanliness was half of faith.

It's worth mentioning that the arabic world has among the world's lowest literacy rates, just above 60%, so a lot of these muslims probably only understands what their mullah wants them to understand. The Quran contains many vague verses, which are fully consistent with the ancient and incorrect views, however, being vague (which is NOT scientific to start with), allows Muslims to re-interpret them as needed. For example, when it says that the Sun and Moon float in orbits AND it mentions day and night in the same verse, this is fully consistent with the geocentric system. However, because today we know that the Sun also orbits in our galaxy, Muslims jump on that. But, if you're honest to the source and it's historical context, you would not argue that it's talking about a galactic year (which is ~250 million years). I another verse (21:30) it speaks of the Earth and heavens being separated, which is exactly what the local creation myths said - so, someone familiar with history and science will see that these simply influenced the Quran, but the verse is scientifically wrong. Muslims cannot allow the Quran to contain a single mistake, so they just re-interpret the verse, and/or science. If anyone else did that they would call them out, of course.

Allah does not give punishment to those who are born as non Muslim because when a child is born he is born as a Muslim no matter what his parents were but after the child grows and attains both physical as well as mental maturity then he is no more a child, no more innocent. I was a practicing Muslim for about 25 years, but now, at 43, I find myself questioning certain things about my faith. A few years ago, I read the Quran deeply, and while it has many valuable teachings, I also came across parts that didn’t sit well with me.
For example, there are verses about using slaves and stories of the Prophet allowing soldiers to take the wives of their enemies. These made me wonder: if the Quran is truly the word of God, why would such things be included? Could it be that, over time, errors crept in as the words were passed down?
Some descriptions of Jannah (heaven) also puzzle me, like the idea of having companions (Hoor al-Ayn) or rivers of alcohol. It makes me question if paradise is supposed to be a place for indulgence, like living a Las Vegas or Pattaya lifestyle. These thoughts have left me feeling confused and troubled at times.
Even with these doubts, I still live as a Muslim. I pray five times a day, give to charity, fast, and try to live a peaceful life with my family. But I’ve come to realize that nothing is perfect, not even religious texts. Instead of digging too deep or trying to prove whether everything is true, I focus on taking the good lessons and living a positive life.
I’ve also started to appreciate all religions. I believe every faith has something valuable to offer, and we need them all in society to keep us grounded and united. I admire Christianity for its message of forgiveness, Hinduism for its spirituality and connection to nature, and I have great respect for Israel and the Jewish people for their resilience and traditions.
I think we’re all part of one big system. Humans, animals, and plants, we all depend on each other. Nature reminds us that we’re not in control of everything but are part of something bigger.
At the end of the day, I’ve accepted that it’s hard-maybe even impossible-to know if God exists or which religion is right. I think when we die, our life just stops, and we return to the same nothingness we were in before birth. So, my goal is to live a meaningful life, embrace the good in all beliefs, and do my part to create a kind and peaceful world.

He had all of his critics assassinated, including singing girls. The list of appalling behaviour is endless - and he is the example the quran commands you to follow. Simply ignoring all the bad bits doesn't make them disappear, and doesn't alter sharia. What did muhammed say to do with anyone who leaves the cult? How would you respond if your female relatives were captured, sold as property, and used as 'bed' slaves by their new owners. All of that is permitted in the cult, for all time. Think more deeply.

I disagree with any attempt to limit freedom of speech. That being said I feel sad not for the maker of this video who is certainly making his money but for the people who rejoiced at the opportunity to reinforce their preexisting prejudice. At best he showed that some of the 1000 year old books written to explain the Quranic verses are not in sync with today's knowledge (Dah you think ?). Other techniques used to trick people are filtration and alteration of information, omission, misquotation, purposeful misleading translations, etc in a lack of a better expression; he is full of BS. Let me pick the first one as an example. Yes the Quran used the word Lamps or Lanterns (Masabee7) to describe some of the luminous objects in our universe. Guilty as charged? Now you tell me what do you use a lamp or lantern for? if you answered to illuminate your way or to know your position in the dark give yourself a pat on the back. It's a no brainer that stars are used to tell your position here on earth and in the dark skies above. For example known Pulsars signals are used to triangulate position (Check Quran 16:16), actually you can argue that without light (visible or invisible to the naked eye) you can't tell where anything is at. Now let's not pretend that this is the only verse in the Quran about the stars. This clown also didn't tell you about the hundreds of other verses that describe the universe and various celestial objects that cover pulsars, black holes, white dwarfs, etc. here is one to finish with, the quran says in chapter Al Najm (the star). "Wan Najmi Itha hawa" , rough translations "I swear by the star when it falls", certainly most old translations use the world "hawa" in the sense fall. They look up they see stars above and ya they think they will fall. But is that the only meaning for that word? The word "Hawa" also means "disappear". A victim star in close proximity to a black hole or a neutron star can fall into it and even disappear as if it never existed. It can disappear from our visible universe by the fast expansion of the universe (becomes out of reach) and yes there is another verse about the expansion of the universe. It uses the literal word "expand". But I find the world "Hawa" to be much more than that, It also means "emptied". What an expression ! Glory to you Allah the unseen creator of heavens and earth. Indeed the Quran is so heavy the more you learn the more you realize how little you know. What do you think happens to the stars before they die. They run out of fuel and collapse on themselves, and depending on size can possibly result in a white dwarf, or super nova which can look like a splash of a painted rose resulting in heavier elements (iron and above) scattered. Folks all what i just said is also mentioned in the Quran. In fact the verse and chapter of "Al Hadeed" ( Iron) correspond to the atomic weight and numbers of Fe. Coincidence! Maybe but when you keep adding up these coincidences you will start looking like a clown if you stay in denial. Kind of a person who denies God's existence and doesn't realize that the mere questioning of His existence is a proof of His existence. Islam is the only religion that encourages if not mandates that you read and learn for a reason, the more you read and learn the more you realize the divinity of the message.

Our universe permits physical, interactive life only because these numbers have been independently exquisitely balanced on a razor's edge.
And what is even more convincing is that these conditions are initial conditions. They are present in the Big Bang itself, and therefore these numbers and quantities cannot be explained by any kind of evolution because they are initial conditions that are present right at the very beginning of the universe and therefore are not subject to cosmic evolution or any other kind of prior scientific explanation.
Even Stephen Hawking, Theoretical physicist, and cosmologist, Director of Research at the Center of Theoretical Cosmology within the University of Cambridge, when he realized this, had to say: "The remarkable fact is that the values of these numbers seem to have been very finely adjusted to make possible the development of life."
A logical question: "very finely adjusted to make possible the development of life" by whom? We know that the matter is dead, it has no consciousness, no brain, no free will, no self-awareness to intelligence, no creativity, no knowledge to intentionally adjust something with a specific purpose - LIFE.
There are two alternatives that evolutionists tried to counter fine-tuning. Physical Necessity and Chance.
According to the physical necessity alternative, the universe MUST be life-permitting. The precise values of these numbers (mentioned above) of the constants and quantities could not be otherwise. But, is a life-prohibiting universe impossible? Is this plausible? It's not only possible. It's far more likely than a life-permitting universe. The constants and quantities are not determined by the laws of nature. There is absolutely no reason or evidence to suggest that fine-tuning is necessary.
According to chance alternative, did we just get sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky to have just an absolutely perfect universe for life?
Of course not. It is just silly and irrational to conclude this. The probability involved is so ridiculously remote as to put the fine-tuning well beyond the reach of chance.
So, why is the Universe fine-tuned for life?
Given the implausibility of physical "Necessity and Chance", the conclusion we get from a universe that is fine-tuned for life, is because it was DESIGNED in that way. This is the logical conclusion we get from what we observe and here where the evidence leads us and we should go where they lead us. That's the definition of honesty, to go where the evidence leads.
The fine-tuning of the universe is the most powerful evidence for a Creator.
Again, you can deny that. It doesn`t mean anything. Your own worldview is not the ultimate reality. You must come up with a satisfactory, observable evidence-based explanation of how this universe, so astonishingly fine-tuned, was possible via pure, unguided, blind, random, mindless natural causes.
Of course, if you want to do that you must "suspend your rationality in order to explain how this is possible." - David Hume.

Perhaps the reason there is no Islamic inscriptions in Petra is that these were destroyed or are simply buried under many layers of sand from over the centuries, maybe muslims themselves saw fit to eliminate evidence of Petra being Mecca to avoid conflict or rebellion in their own faith!

I got to know a guy who is Muslim and he is very friendly toward me to the point that he invited me to has dinner with his family when i had oversea assignment at his country. Then as the end, i stayed a bit longer to say goodbye to his parent. Then i got to my hotel room and checked my phone, he invited me to convert to Muslim (I’m Christianity and he knew that) then i send this video to him just to ask him what does he think about your video (frankly, i just want to know his opinion, how he think,...) Then he was beating around the bush and some day later, I messaged him to asked why didn’t i see him online (we know each other on online video game) and found out he had blocked me.

One of my favourite blunders of Muhammad/Allah is on the topic of fasting. Quran 2:187 tells Muslims when to fast. They need to wait "until the white thread of dawn appear to you distinct from its black thread". If you live in northern countries such a Norway, Finland, Iceland, northern Russia or Canada, it doesn't get dark at night and north of the Arctic Circle (half of Norway...) the Sun doesn't set for weeks at times. Seems like Allah didn't know much about basic astronomy and geography and Muslims had to come up with man-made solutions to the problem.
The Quran is supposed to be a book for all people and all time, but Muslims can't use it to fast in those countries (and they had to come up with man-made ideas to fix this little issue, that the all-knowing creator of the universe didn't seem to be aware of). If Allah knew that the Earth was spherical, rotating and inclined to the Ecliptic, he could have easily come up with a much simpler rule, like 12h/12h fast.
Also, Muhammad didn't know that the Earth was spherical - in a sahih hadiths he says that Allah comes down to the lowest heaven at night, but it's always night somewhere on Earth, so therefore does Allah spend ALL of his time in the lowest heaven?
