If a company isn’t prepared for honest reviews, they shouldn’t send out free product.
One thing about temu, is that like many other CCP backed e-commerce companies, they are very willing to pay off people to praise their site and products.
If they don’t like what you have to say, they aren’t willing to be honest.

A cease and desist also isn't a legally binding document, it's just a threat that uses legal speak to scare people into submitting. Even if they claim that they'll sue you, it doesn't mean they have a case.

That app is offered by the Play store which is owned by Google and authenticates and approves all apps on its platform to ensure they are not doing exactly what Temus app is doing. not really, its not the companies that steal data. Its the CCP or the chinese government that require and enforce the data collecting. If a company in china refuse to give CCP the data they can be shut down and the CCP take control over the company within a day.. In short, they take full control and ownership of the company and throw out the original owners out on the street..
People have no rights in china and CCP can take control and ownership or any home or company in china any time they want.. its a law that make it possible.
The only way to stop the enforced data collecting is to move out of china and there you have the reason why companies run away from china and rebuild in another country..
The CCP or the chinese government can snap their fingers and read and collect all secret trade information that apple have in their factories in china for example. If apple refuse to give them the information they can take the information with force.
Watch a few china news channels that share the reality people have to live with in china and you will understand that china is a big prison and the chinese people is in short terms "prisoners".

I remember when I was a kid and I would see these cheap and nasty toys and then I would see toys that we of better quality and cost more. Whenever I see Temu or a similar company selling products that are really cheap and with very long listings, those cheap toys spring to mind as something that cheap can be made well or made following labour laws to the letter. There's this line from a TV show I watched years ago where one of the characters said "Beware of something bad pretending to be something nice" it applies to some many of the online stores that sell directly from the factory to the customer.
