TAX DEDUCTIBLE donations to fund the project are being received by the Champaign County Arts Council, 119 Miami Street, Urbana, Ohio 43078. Checks should be made out to the Harmless Farmer Project c/o the Arts Council. Names of donors of five hundred dollars or more will be added to a plaque to be located at the monument site. The goal is to complete fund raising of $100,000. Secure donations can be made at champaigncountyartscouncil.org also.

love watching the videos - especially your trips to Urbana. I grew up there and have very fond memories of it, but now live in the flatlands of NW Ohio. My dad was a salesman for Papec Machine Co. in the late 50's & early 60's, then was affiliated with Carich Ford Tractor on Rte.68. I still travel down 2-3 times a year for pie at the Airport Cafe and some Mumford's potato chips!

I quit hauling in scrap years ago because I would have flat tires the next week everytime. It just wasnt worth the hassle for a little beer money. I have a pile outside and when it gets bigger I have a couple trustworthy guys I call and they appreciate having it! Have a safe and fun trip! Hopefully the temperatures are bearable!👍👍

Exactly..... I've seen several videos where they can explode unexpectedly. Leaking is the best warning sign you can get. Some people aren't that lucky to have a warning sign and they just blow up.

Get some JB weld stick. And put it on the hole for your air comprser. I did and it woks.

Flat tires due to nails or screws are normally found on the rear tires. The front tire will kick up the screw or nail and the rear tire will catch the item, imbedding it in the tire.

Great tip on the Dawn dishwash liquid and water to discover a tire leak. I'vew used this in the past too but Windex or some sort of cleaner/degreaser in a spray bottle (e.g. 409 or Krud Kutter) will do the trick just as well. I have Windex and Krud Kutter at my workbench at all times so they are easy to get at when I need them. Hope you two have fun on the trip this weekend! I can imagine this is probably the only time of the year that you can actually have downtime.
A little know how on fixing your own tires saves time and money!
Don’t worry about the tank leak. That way you don’t have to drain the water that can build up in the bottom.

with your air tank leaking just smear some j.b. weld on it works fine for me
I do the same thing to fine leaks. i mix 50 /50, but i always patch it if i have the time cause with a heavy load. A plug can work its way out and green valve caps mean you got nitrogen in the tire and not air

Then I read the comments and was sad.😢
Also, you can do your own you can get a kit at any auto parts store and just do that by yourself while the tire is still on the vehicle just drive till the it is pointing at either approximately 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock so that you can get to it and you can do it while it’s still on the vehicle. You never even have to take the vehicle off if you find the Mail anyways and just you have to lay on your side or your belly or whatever really and do it but you can do it and save 15 bucks and the time it takes to go to a tire shop. It’s easy all you need is a needle nose and a knife and of course air compressor to air the tire back upanyway I’m battling here but after you find the hole, just take that tool and ream it out real good I always add the tire patch glue when I put the new plug in. Thanks you guys I
I’ve never seen a tire shop plug a tire before. They Always patch them here in Texas
Our shops insurance companies won't allow them to do an exterior plug. I can't believe they didn't take the time to do it correctly and plug/patch from the inside, especially knowing they headed on an out of state trip!🙄

Hatfield and McCoys is the best. If you can get to Matewan there is some neat history in that town and several restaurants.

there are some vids on youtube of air compressor explosions, its not pretty. you may want to scrap that compressor and get a new one.
Need your own tire plug kit. You can plug tires why still on the trailer
