Thanks to RUclips for making me plumber, electrician, pilot, doctor, engineer and much more
Great video! Thank you for your help. I did everything as in the video, now everything works for me!
Replace the cartridge in a single-handled mixer for anyone and even a woman. Many people don’t know what exactly the cartridge is in the mixer, the simplest way to find out is to remove and look, perhaps even take it to the store if there are difficulties with identification. Any normal seller in the store will tell you which cartridge you need in return. Well, the most difficult thing that may arise during the replacement process is the "sticking" of the mixer handle to the cartridge stem, here I can advise you to watch my other video dedicated to this topic separately - ruclips.net/video/opxo0GlE8wg/видео.html. But if the handle was removed normally, there should be no problems with something else.
I get piping hot water in bathroom wash basin and kitchen sink, but only lukewarm on bath mixer tap even on max hot setting. It's not a thermostatic type type. Any advice, please.
Is it helps to speed up water flow ?
I'm having a hard time removing the protective ring because it only slides my tools how to easily do it
You can try wrapping the ring in suede or leather (they should not slide on the metal). First, it is better to soak the threads of the ring with WD40
Good video but don't you have a proper screwdriver?
What a crappy way to do this job. Bent screwdrivers, not bothering to clean anything before replacing the cartridge. Did you not see the crap that was on the bottom of the old cartridge? There must have been crap down by where the old seal sat. This video is a recipe for a new cartridge leaking from the start of turning the water back on. Thus why I've given it a thumbs down. And I've probably only given a thumbs down twice before in more that ten years of watching RUclips .
How many emotions! To be honest, I don’t see a big problem here, who needs it, when replacing, clean out the dirt if there is any, let everyone decide for himself what needs to be wiped and cleaned, I just showed how to change the cartridge. Now I probably won’t sleep because you gave me a thumbs down :))) And yes, I don’t have shit in the faucet, but where did you get it from?)))
