That huge turtle at 11:12 is a Common Snapping Turtle (Chelydra serpentina). It's a large species of turtle native to North America, and is the most common type of Snapping Turtle (hence its name). They can live for many decades, and feed on aquatic vegetation, nuts, berries, grapes, small fish, reptiles, amphibians, insects, crustaceans, and sometimes small mammals and birds if the opportunity presents itself. It's also very easy to tell the difference between Common Snapping Turtles (CST) and Alligator Snapping Turtles (AST). ASTs are larger than CSTs. They also have Alligator-like ridges running along their backs (hence their name), whereas CSTs don't have that. CSTs also have much longer necks than ASTs, which makes them more dangerous to handle since they can reach around and bite you, whereas ASTs can't do that. ASTs live in fast-flowing rivers and streams, whereas CSTs live in lakes and ponds. If you ever see a Snapping Turtle out in the wild, it's, more often than not, a Common Snapping Turtle.
