The hard part is finding a real stylist, not just a hair cutter. I think they are few and far between. All I have ever found for any amount of money is the whatever-you-would-prefer kind who has no talent for aesthetics and, therefore, no confidence to address style for any given face. That's why this channel is so popular; Justine is a rarity.
I agree...I do think most people I see on the street all seem to have same "helmet head" Bobs...some longer... 1:22 some shorter...but all look alike!
I am older Senior & still like my blonde longer wavy layered hair ...but I am afraid to just go to an unknown "Stylist"..who all seem to prefer that newer messy look.. & shorter haircuts!

What is New Wash?
I'd like to cu do this series on curly girls. Cutting shorter, adding layers and or bangs really amps up the maintenance a ton when you've got naturally curly hair, way more so than straight or wavy. So how might u get around that unfortunate result?? Would like to c how you'd tackle it. 😊

Curly/frizzy hair is often overlooked in hairstyles. Thinning hair as well. I come around once in a great while because I'm a very visual person. I just can't connect hairstyles with outdoor views, chirping birds, and background music. I guess this is what separates you from others doing hairstyles and your regulars love it. I would rather see you with a model or client in a salon. You still could do your nature walks before or after.

I love the pixie on Sharon - and as others have said, I would go for it in a heartbeat. My question would be - how much of the way it looks is the cut and how much is the styling? I've had "pixies" before and they always end up looking the same - beautiful when I leave the salon and then just cowlick bangs from there on out - anyway, another great job from you on this look :).
As for the editing - I like it - I'm not a big fan of background music - I'm just happy listening to you surrounded by nature :)

You allow the viewer to follow what you are suggesting with the arrows, colors, etc. It is very informative that way and one can understand your points. Getting ready to get rid of my Covid long hair and take the plunge back into layers and a bob or clavicle cut. This was really helpful and as my hair is red (dyed not natural) I really liked the red bob. The pixie was also really amazing! Thanks for the videos!

I love the pixie on her. She looks wonderful. The silver color makes her look so modern. I was in a similar situation as Sharon. Having the same haircut all my life, I decided to cut ny hair in 2020. Even though the lady who cuts my hair is wonderful, I can’t get her to understand what I want and most of the time I just leave the salon unsatisfied. I hope Sharon takes your suggestions to someone who can make bring them to life. ❤️❤️❤️
I had the same issue with a stylist not really able to execute the style I wanted. Changing salons worked for me, and now I get the style cut I love.

So, I started to make a comment saying what I thought that you may say about changing her style up, as I was writing the word "layers" you were in the process of reading her email, and she said that she doesn't really like the idea of layers lol. I think she has very pretty hair, but layering does so much for a style! I was thinking maybe some face framing layers at the very least, and what about a little texturing to maybe bring out her wave a little bit? And maybe starting out with some lowlights to slowly add in a deeper color. I don't care for the pixie though, but I think a shag might be really cute on her, that way she might not have to flat iron it as much. I really love my shaggy cut, it brought out my natural texture that I didn't even realize I had lol.

Happy Birthday, Justin! 🥳 My current hair looks (and sounds) very similar to Sharon's! I have an annoying slight wave that always makes me feel like my hair looks poofy. I've been growing out badly cut layers, and my hair is just...blah...no style. I'm getting it cut today and am kind of nervous because I'm contemplating a shorter asymmetrical cut! Plus a lighter blonde and some teal streaks. Wish me luck. 😆 As for the music everyone is commenting on - it didn't bother me (it was just brief intermission music to me), but I did have to adjust my phone volume because it got loud every time the music came on. Haha

You gave so many great suggestions, the only thing I wasn't a fan of was the red, but I know I'm in the minority after reading comments, I just really like her as a blond. I thought the pixie looked really great on her and I'm usually not a fan of super short hair, but she pulled it off so well. Hi Justin, Happy Birthday! 🎂 I loved the pixie cut on Sharon and thought it gave her a fun, carefree look. She has a great smile and that’s what I noticed first with that cut. She also seemed to have quite a bit of red in her complexion, so wondering if the red hair might be too much red? I actually liked the silver but understand she may not be ready for that, so I might deepen the blond into a brond. A cooler blond-brown shade to counteract the ruddiness in her complexion? If nothing else, I would definitely go shorter, a beveled bob might also be adorable if she’s not ready to go with a pixie. Love your outdoor videos and channel! 💇♀️🏔️🌲😎
The red was pretty, but I would add some highlights. But red doesn't stay red very long, it has a tendency to fade fast. The pixie was just too much, too fast! I think she needs layers on top; soft not so short layers. But bringing the part over more really helps!! Thanks for the video, just wish I knew what to do with my straight as a board fine hair!!😅

I have a similar style with bangs and a little layering around the face/sides. (Very high forehead and narrowing at the temples). Layering in the back tends to flip up. I tried to grow it longer but it just seemed thin at the ends and I gave up. It used to be fine and straight all over but with age, it is now transitioning to curly in some areas, wavy in others and some frizzy if I let it air dry. Using a smoothing brush smooths it down but then I add some curls in the front/sides to add volume and direction there. I'm kind of hair confused right now! Could use some styling ideas instead of just keeping it straight as in this video.
