    Finally! We were asking for this way before dream pop. Stay ahead of the curve and throw us a techno or industrial sdx/ezx. The 90's are here now.

    This is like pulling all the 80s & early 90s equipment out of my studio overflow storage closet and reliving those enjoyable hardware sequencing/synth days that still hold a special place in my personal home studio recording journey. Still have all my Alesis, Ensoniq, Yamaha, ART, & TEAC/Tascam (now retro) gear in original boxes. I had thought many times to set some of it back up just to bring back memories, but my current studio is so fluid and work friendly that I can't bring myself to deal with the cable insanity and space required. I'll be acquiring this awesomeness immediately in order to scratch that frequent itch. THANK YOU Toontrack!! - for the never ending evolution in your products. I have been a self confessed addict for over a decade. 🤘

    The only thing I'm missing is having more tom pads, having only 2 seems not enough (otherwise great EZX). Luckily in SD3 you can emulate more toms by adding a new instrument with the same tom sound, then detuning it and assigning it to the midi key you want. That's my workaround if I need more toms, in case it helps anyone.

    I just purchased the Synthwave drums and LOVE IT! Thank you. Now PLEASE add "Snare Reverb" to the mixer section on all the Expansion kits. Pretty please. Hit LIKE if you agree.

    Great sounds. Is it also playable via E-Drums? I'd love to see a demo of that. Edit: bought it today. Playability of EZX Synthwave via eDrums (Roland TD17) is okay, but I noticed the rides/bell rides cut off and wont keep ringing, be it via keyboard or cymbal. That cant be right and needs to be fixed.
    (I also want to mention, that the overall eDrum playability of EZdrummer3 is absolutely fantastic and has made it my favourite drum plugin.)

    im also wondering if this company has heard wtf synth wave sounds like now, this may have been "ok" 40 yrs ago, but compared to the samples modern electronic uses, this is straight garbage.

    • @tendingtropic7778
      @tendingtropic7778 Год назад +7

      what do you mean with wtf synthwave sounds? i actually think this sounds pretty good. Its supposed to sound like the 80's right?

    • @maccagrabme
      @maccagrabme Год назад +2

      This has nothing to do with modern sounds. Its aimed at those who want an all in one 80s synth package.

    • @timearchitecture
      @timearchitecture Год назад

      @@maccagrabme the user face art is modeled to modern synth wave. theres a 45 yr difference between synth wave (a modern genre) and "80s sounds" also these are the exact same samples in their other 4 electronic ex's. synth wave has a retro aesthetic but the sounds are modern, not something off a vintage Roland midi bank.
