Toontrack Drums are the best to my ears. I wish Roland would just collaborate with Toontracks. Until then I'll just hook it up together. I just get errors or mis hits every now and then with my TD-30KV. Maybe the new Roland 7 series would work. But those sounds in the module sound bad compared to any Toontracks. I use SD3 but any EZ will work with it. I'm trying to get the closest to an acoustic set. This is the best I can think of at this point.
Can't thank you enough for all the hard work. The technology and the sound quality is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else and truly ready for post-production and to be just put on a full-blown record.
You guys could come out with EZbake Oven and i would buy it. I cherish these products. Cant wait for EZGuitar ; ) I need a bass articulation midi pack too. The more i can grab and drop the articulations i need, rather than surgically alter it with midi, the better.
Probably for copyright reasons, but so funny how Toontrack recorded a whole Making of without mentioning „Studio 606“, „Dave Grohl“, „Foo Fighters“, „Butch Vig“, „Nirvana“ or „Sound City“ - just sneaking in some B-roll shots with „Sound City“ sign every now and then and one line saying „This room was owned and designed by a drummer“. Well, yes … 😂
Exactly mike! I really miss your videos I wish you would do more . This is exactly what I was thinking with this but oh well maybe it is copyright. I do think they dropped the ball on not doing an sdx in this studio I'm pretty disappointed. Actually I'm really disappointed because I'd like to have raw drum sounds from the studio but instead they are highly processed in this library. I'm not even sure if they included original mix it doesn't say it or give you original mix samples on the website. I guess they really don't want raw drums getting out there from Studio 606 lol. Sorry I'm a little bitter over it I love their products but come on when you get a studio like this do a full sdx please.

please make a drum library in the style of Dream Theater, a good number of toms, snares, cymbals and don't forget the octobans (kits just like Mike Portnoy's).
You guys are gonna hate me for saying this. But their competitor “Mixwave” already has a drum library made by Mike Mangini himself. It’s a hefty $189 but…. If you want the dream theater pack, made with the actual dream theater drummer. It already exists
Amazing sound always but is useless because the kick,snare,toms is stereo channels, right? i use Cubase and i have the option to 32 mono ch but the mixer still needs work to present a complete suite for musicians to work with Daw. UPDATE THE MIXER for mono option
Get an amazing studio, get an amazing console that's from Sound City and then only do an ezx, I'm very very very very very disappointed. I love your products but you dropped the ball here. I won't be purchasing this just because an sdx would have suited all my needs with the studio and my drum kit. It's a shame because you've done this before places like Fame studio also. Some of these deserve to have a full sdx and if you didn't have the time or couldn't I guess that's the way it is. End of rant

I believe we can use ezx in superior drummer, if that helps.

But i prefer sdx versions for different reasons thats why i asked
Being a toontrack fanboy I've noticed they rarely release the ezx first and bring out the sdx second so I'd say it's very unlikely.
i have loved all the releases I've purchased for EZD so far and i think this might be a great fit in my collection. Gonna sound great in the mix!

Is the Panther preset based off the Steel Panther feel the steel sound?
