Still pretty cool if you have no keyboard skills.. you can always tweak things to your liking after you drag the midi into your DAW..
If so, I have nothing to worry about as a producer/music creator… This sounds cool for inspiration or song structure but; I am the best computer program. Our imperfections are what makes music a part of our connection to each other.
It is impressive but the playing style is extremely generic. This doesn't replace a great musician but could give some background to work against. Like a canvas for building the song. Sketch first and embellish with something unique.
Been using EZ keys 1... All I can say is wow... EZ Keys 2 is legit!!!

It already exists. Any EZkeys expansion will work in EZKeys 2… so all our previous synth expansions will work with the new band mate feature.

When I saw the "suggest chords" functions, I thought it was cool but wasn't completely sure cuz there are other very similar programs. But this bandmate feature has me sold. I'm gonna pre-order it.

Not bad. Pretty musical in its approach 😝and FAR better than the random noise midi generators/processors ! Finally sort of catching up to the years-old built-in tools in Cubase Pro (VariAudio, Chord Track, Chord Assistant, Scale Assistant, etc). The voiceover is also VERY GOOD quality and his flow of words and arrangement of concepts is 99.99 % 🥰🥰 The UI upgrade is also wow 🥰 It's been over TWENTY FIVE years that I have been telling software developers that Drums and specifically drum patterns . . . should CONVERTABLE to Piano/Synth or melodic SOUNDS in a manner whereby the rhythm in the drums can be turned into piano/synth rhythic melodies and harmonies . . . and boy, you nailed it (the implementation of this KILLER concept) on the head in this new release of EZkeys 2 😝👌👌 Big ups to Toontrack, just Don't let this become "stale" like the previous version. Respond to feedback from customers/users and pls be more agile with updates where necessary.

Dude said "Generate" an accompany piano, and does not "Generate", it looks within your midi library for something that sounds like it. That's misleading guys. Bu still your software is great. Saludos from Mexico. 🤓

You guys have to add this feature with EZ Bass
It exists in EZbass. It's called the drums and keys tab in EZbass, because it's for dragging in drum or keys MIDI. EZbass also has an audio tracker for audio recordings.
@@toontrack Can you use an acoustic guitar playing chords to generate a bass line in EZbass? It looks like it only works with monophonic inputs?

In the EZkeys 2 Bandmate piano example, where is the WAV file being pulled from - the DAW track interface, or a project source folder?
Will this work like EZDrummer where if there isn’t anything in the midi packs that matches well that it would create its own progression?

Will it take into consideration the groove of original track or is it quantizing the piano to the grid?
Hi! The audio or MIDI that you feed into EZkeys 2 bandmate will be interpreted differently depending on the content. Bandmate can follow your groove and should do so in tempo with the grid, but more or less relaxed. The notes are not perfectly quantized to the grid, bringing more realism to the track.
What about audio from the sax?
I have this but it's kinda tough to get the piano part right as I have complex solo guitar instrumental stuff not as much chords. Gotta play with it more to get it perfect hopefully.
The harmony it creates is a little weird, but I think it is a great tool for beginners 👍🏻
My daw(reason 10, iMac) cannot find EZkeys 2. It finds EZkeys 1 without any problems and I've been reinstalling everything. Can I find the plugin pathway in the standalone?
When are you releasing a Hammond B3 expansion?
I had a sequence of chords in EZ keys and used the country play style. When I bought EZ Keys 2 , I used the same chords but the melody changes a lot. Very disappointing. What might have happened? Please help.

Will it have a polyphonic Audio to MIDI tracker. For example so I'm able to input an acoustic piano performance, convert it to MIDI and turn it into an electric piano, or even a guitar performance to MIDI and use it with a piano sound?
The most important thing would be to create a piano melody in relation to the audio of the voice. you haven't put this in the plugin yet.
I got mine today, paid for last month. First look at it, as I was hoping it would be as GOOD as EZDR3's Bandmate, but I think I am not disappointed, if I am looking at it correctly. The first option is "Chords", so to me, that's confusing. SO what can you place in there? In this demo of yours, there's a stereo guitar track. I hope it will take a mono, because that is typically how I record mostly all my stringed instruments, played myself, such as AG, EG, and Bass, for which I go directly into my Allen & Heath ZED 60 board. I record Dobro with a RODE condenser mic. SO can I ASSUME that I can place any of those tracks in the CHORDS section? I don't have EZBass and don't need it. Otherwise, this was a waste of money, since with my EZKeys, I have usually started a song with EZKeys, and then used Bandmate in EZDr3, pretty much the ONLY Module in the drum s/w that I really need. PLUS with EZDr3, I can plug in a guitar or bass to get drum grooves.
This looks great! Can I use my own midi piano parts (I'm not a pianist) as a guide to make it more professional sounding?
Hi, EZkeys 2 Bandmate should be able to detect the chords you are playing and then use MIDI from your EZkeys 2 MIDI library to replace the performance and keep the chords.

Hi! The source audio does not use any EKX! The piano you hear in the bandmate result is Session Grand from the EZkeys 2 Core Library.

Reaper won’t let me drag my audio file off the track is their another way
Some hosts do not allow you to export audio or MIDI via drag and drop. In our tests REAPER is one of those hosts. In this case, we'd recommend that you export/bounce the audio from REAPER and then load the audio file into EZkeys 2 by browsing to the file location in the "Select File > Open" dialog in the EZkeys 2 Bandmate.
@@toontrack yip I figured it out thanks your products are unbelievable wish I had this 30 years ago very easy to use and love how all the menu pages are the same for all the products, I’m computer illiterate and figured it all out thanks to RUclips
Sorry, yes, thanks for the correction. In recent REAPER versions it is possible by using a key command CTRL/CMD + ALT to be able to drag audio. In older versions it was not, so for anyone else experiencing this problem, update REAPER to the latest version and use the keyboard shortcut.

Yeah! Ezguitar has so much potential with the amount of models. Session Guitarist is alright but I want something that allows the flexibility of scarbee funk guitarist and ezbass. The ability to adjust custom rhythms is crucial.
