i like maeve better. not only is her movement better but specifically the dash feels so much better than genji’s. with genji i feel like my screen is locked when i dash but with maeve i dont feel as restricted. i can look around freely right when i click the dash and dont have to wait until the dash ends like genji’s case

@Orange_Venom I'd say check it out, it's been going through a lot of positive changes recently imo. They have some sense when it comes to balance at least.
Unlike with Genji, playing Maeve makes me feel like an actual threat who's getting value without having to rely on a 6 second blade that the enemy is just waiting to shit on. Landing the daggers feels much more impactful and consistent than landing shuriken. Maeve may not have wall climbing, but she doesn't need it to challenge or even top Genji in mobility. As nice as Genji's deflect is, I perfer nine lives. Despite the 20 second base cooldown, it opens a lot of options for Maeve. It resets the cooldowns for both movement abilities and heals a bit of health. While deflect lets you send some pretty nasty shit back at the enemy, it renders you a sitting duck against the wrong enemies who can ignore the deflect and you'd be wasting that cooldown as you rush out of dodge. Also I find midnight to be a pretty unique ult. It can help Maeve with flanking and getting more sneaky picks. Yeah. I definitely like Maeve more than Genji. Could be a skill issue, but I find one more fun and less miserable than the other.
You know you have 0 sense of what originality in desihn is. Design-wise you really say genji is better? Like a ninja wow, shuriken wow, sword wow, never seen before in any other game before. Imo genji is the stereotypical ninja just implemented to overwatch bruh
and maeve is just a cat girl with knives, its preference if he likes the stereotypical ninja, let him like the ninja if you like the (underage) cat girl
