You should make a full exhaust system with scale catalytic converter
Only problem is... To make a cat for this engine would do nothing... It's too oily and it would just collect oil instead of burning excess gas. Although it is cool to have it as an aesthetic piece

I think it could use a much lower gear for crawling or maybe even a lighter doing on the centrifugal clutch so that the engagement is smoother (so that it doesn't jump so much when you get on the gas) that way you would have more smooth control but it's still freaking awesome either way love the build.
Good ideas mate. I will look for a clutch when this one is near its end of life
I'd love to see another one of these L200s in an Axial SMT10. Almost might be able to make it work in a touring car, too, with the right gearing. The power's there for it to bloody rip.
I would love to see it geared up a bit. Definitely has the power!

I don't get tired of watching this beast in action. So the positive crankcase pressure pushes the used oil to catch can I'm guessing. Did you consider pneumatic tires or no? Thanks for the entertainment sir. I love watching creativity come to fruition, especially from talented builders such as yourself.

What you have made is amazing, no question. I am almost 44 years old and started with the rc hobby when I was 11. I could not afford nitro. At the time electric was lame, slow and unobtainable compared to nitro. I started using (then at 11) Anderson Power Pole connecters, to series connect battery in series packs for volts and amps. In the 90's I had 4 minute run times on 14.4v on heavy ass WalMart NiCad's and burned up a 12t mega motor by Kyosho in a Hirobo Alien. The progress since, has proven, nitro\gas for RC is pretty dead. Not my progress, the pioneers of electric rc have brought us drones etc. Other than a very cool expensive RC, let nitro die.

gosh, where can I get that revo 3.3 gearbox?? I have a fs100 build I'm planning, and would like a little bmore budget friendly forward/reverse gearbox than what stirlingkit/ engine diy has to offer

It would be good to see it run with shorter gearing and a proper exhaust. So it just walks over obstacles and sounds tough.
It is idling slow already and these clutch springs are fairly soft and nearly grabbing the bell housing as is.

It's cool as hell, but that thing looks horrible to drive, it seems so unresponsive and weak, and it's geared way to high for a crawler, he needs to give it quite a bit of throttle to get enough torque to clear even small obstacles.
