Yea that suspension has 0 sag. far far far too stiff of springs. it should sag down a solid third of its suspension travel under its own weight. otherwise its not really doing anything.
Was thinking the same thing. Or otherwise create a much more heavy body to add weight to allow the springs to carry the weight and lower the take off speed

@@anthonywilliams852 this is like a $2,000 kit, you can start with a regular electric crawler, actually have a lot better performance for less than $500. This is expensive because it has a 4-stroke engine and is kinda niche
these kind of engine are the future of gas rc! i thought the nitro engine scene was falling apart! THANK YOU! I LOVE NITRO and i love lipo but i only use lipo if i dont feel like tuning or am feeling lazy asf....lipo to me is the lazy mans go to
Seems to be lacking a low speed crawling ability? Super awesome for sure, hopefully a low range transfer case, or a super low first gear can help with the low speed control because that would be super fun then.
I just told my wife now I know what I want for Christmas if I win the lottery I love all them little motors I love your ability to machine and make stuff it's phenomenal especially your CNC skills and how you design your own stuff I was in a machine shop for 45 years and I'm totally amazed hey have a great day and thank you for your videos
That's so cool man, love that it has working lights, the electric start, reverse, and how you fuel it up. Freakin awesome. I'd love to see the top speed and hear the gear change. Is it automatic or can you change the gears
Man that's one sweet kit. Love the exhaust. I'm not done watching yet, but can't wait to see it run. I'd love to get this. I knew it wouldn't be long until they built an entire car. Brilliant. Also love the 3 piece wheels and bolt cover for the rims, to keep the sand/mud out. Very cool
Ever since I was born I want simulation or I don't want it. You have simulation near. A full body to the vehicle with opening doors everything, every minature peace. That is pretty sweet.
Wow! even on lowest gear that's the fastest crawler I've yet to see. Needs approx 10:1 gear reduction considering it still has 2 "faster" gears to switch to.
Soooo brought me back to the 80 s with tamaya or how ever it was spelled. Look at the other selection !!! Yeah I’m digging the construction rc stuff. That looks fun !!!!!
Man, i love these videos so much, its a real inspiration to me and my son who loves building things. One request, please lower the volume on the CNC machining.
A very nicely made kit! With this engine, it seems more suited as a offroad racer or rally car. For crawling it seems to need bigger wheels and less speed. But honestly, the noise would be too much for me, especially for crawling where I basically stand next to the car all the time.
OH, it's so cool! This kit is awesome! I thought car will work poorly, but it's run so well! Feels some inertia of how engine gains RPM and clutch go on, that's cool. Thanks for this video, dude!
Chinese manufactured products are not inherently worse quality, it just so happens that most Chinese products fill the market niche of extremely cheap products. Which, obviously, is going to be low quality, but not because it’s Chinese, but because it’s cheap. This is a $1800 product, if you imply that even with that budget, the Chinese can’t possibly be skilled enough or intelligent enough to manufacture an acceptable product, then that’s a you problem.
This is seriously cool. I have a Traxxas TRX-4 Defender, it has all sorts of nifty doo-dads, but it is still just electrically powered. The fuel powered one is so much neater, and more realistic sounding.
On the gearbox bracket install, it doesn't look like the provided screw was too long, it just looks crossthreaded. You can see the same issue when the shorter screw was inserted.
You should get an electric torque driver. Far faster and much more efficient than the little screw driver. It's the standard when it comes to electronics/small mechanical stuff. It will cost you, it does, but once you buy one, you never go back. For the level of work you do, i think it's more than a reward to your skills to get one.
Awesome little truck! Perhaps it would crawl a little better on softer springs? It looks pretty bouncy
And lack of damping
i think they are just calling it a crawler not knowing what it really means
Yea that suspension has 0 sag. far far far too stiff of springs. it should sag down a solid third of its suspension travel under its own weight. otherwise its not really doing anything.
@@EllaBananas not just that look at the gearing, shit is a race car lol it suppose to crawl very very slow

That's pretty cool. Not $1800.00 dollars cool, but still cool. The tires look like the ones on my old Wild Willy.
Hah, nice touch with the itty bitty bead-lock wheels. The frame is also a lot more realistic than I usually see on here.
That would be super cool with a much lower gear ratio! You have to do it 😊
It's a awesome car. I love mine. Currently painting the body.
Hey I really want to get into this hobby. But I know NOTHING. What would you suggest as a starting point? Something where I don't need a pocket cnc.

Bang berapa banyak nya
Very cool! The rig could probably use for some softer springs, or maybe softer shock oil, but everything else is awesome!
Yeah it did look a little bouncy didn't it?
It needs a snowplow on the front! Make winter fun for a little while.
This is the most satisfying build
I’ve spent MANY thousands on rcs glad I never wasted any of it building one of these however I understand a project of passion as much as anyone.

Once Greta hears of these it will back to batteries.😅
They are noisy as heck. Dirty. Not as powerful. And more expensive.
I see plenty of room for some upgrades. Awesome! Keep up the good work.
That's pretty sweet. Looks like the suspension isn't dialed very well for a crawler though.
I was thinking the same. Looks quite a bit too stiff. I think larger tires would look better as well.
I would say it’s more of a trail rig than a actual crawler
100 % trail truck and this running video is in freezing temperatures- shock fluid is thicker and operation is a little different
wouldnt call it a crawler when it has paddletires for sand and is called sand cruiser..

thanks man, so glad to see you built it
Looks like it might be a bit difficult to crawl over things with it, It is cool though
thats honestly the cutest freaking thing ive ever seen
Add some weights to the body and chassis to give more inertia.
That will reduce bouncing and give better scale performance.
or just softer springs and some oil in the shocks!
Very cool! If you take the foam out of the tires, it looks more realistic. 🇧🇷

For 1700$ I'd be pissed as fuck if they didn't include EVERY screw nut and bolt in the correct size!
And if you want to upgrade anything, you basically have to throw the whole thing away, buy something good from RC4WD, and swap the engine into it.

Shouldn't the gear ratio be much lower for proper crawling?
my thoughts exactly
We can expect a video that he make some low gear differential gear.😉
If you click on the product link they call it a sand cruiser which is more what it looks like than a crawler
