The cost is affordable VS building real cars! I have also traded RC cars for real ones. In 2006 I swapped a HPI Super Nitro I built for a 85 C10 that actually ran. Good times 😁
It would be really cool if you built a motor dyno and did a comparison of each. Show the HP output, torque and usable RPM range. It would help the community to know what motor best suits their needs.
Are there any engines focused on the lower RPM range? I would love to try a tank build one day with one, but I couldn't live with a screaming engine in it, something slower and deeper ideally would be the dream.
I just followed you and Dennis's videos and put mine together. It's got the two little black boxes that run up to the glow plugs with a battery plug on each end. Can you cut them off and connect them to one battery or tie all three of them together? The starter button and the two glow plugs all together connect all through all them wires together and only run one battery. Or how can I do this? I've never started one so I don't know what I'm doing
@@RCTanksTrucks247 I appreciate it. Is there any type of wiring diagram to tell you how to wire this all up cuz I'm not really sure and the first time it fried my starter button so not sure when doing something wrong. Or do they have a wire diagram you can follow or should it be self-explanatory? lol
Hey Steve you helped me in past but need help one more time. I have a Otto motor fs-l200ac on its way. want help to wire the two glow igniter to a button to start it once its built. Just not sure how thanks
Quick question for you Man. Can I use the Lucas red and tacky grease for the top of the engine instead of the grease sold by sterling kit I can get it for a way better price here in the states.
Hell of a vid there mate, I love these engines even though I can't afford any of them. Haha. I do have a question for you, is the Rotary engine capable of adding more rotors to it? For instance, going to a 3 or 4 "cylinder" from the 2? Keep up the great videos.
I’m sure you can keep staking as many as I el cylinders as you want BUT for every extra you add the intake has to match in length for the next port in/out ALSO the crank has to be extended. Anyone else an add something I’m missing
@@RCTanksTrucks247 I was thinking installing it in the 1/8 defender with custom gearboxes to enable locking diffs and selectable rwd&4wd with different gears just for crawling. Like a toucan hobby type of build real life defender
They are pretty cool BUT their service suck at least for me it has been a disappointment and for Others I won’t mention. They have their own stories. From what I seen and heard I think the original one cylinder is more reliable that I was hoping they came out with the new fs-100sbx not never was produced.

They certainly are great. Heaps of fun

Micro engineering always comes at a cost

Yeah a dyno would be great
Hey Steve. I like them all. But my favorite would be the 8 cylinder. Can't wait till you finish the body work for that one.
Definitely a great engine mate

I had no idea the hobby has advanced this this much... those engines look insane...very nice bro
They are!
I always take old lawn equipment engines and put them on stands just to run, i want to make a big “longtail” thai boat with a weed eater 2 stroke
You should take like 20 of those engines in a row like a tractor pull.
haha nice

*Wow awesome video my friend,, and cool rc car 👍👍💯*
Cheers man
Can I just say I love you. Lol I wish you were my neighbor I’m just now getting into this hobby, subscribed!!
Haha cheers bro
They need to make a clutch for the rotary!
Yeah man, for sure
Hi Steve brilliant video nice new toy 😀😊
Cheers bro l
They all look expensive!
Good value considering the engineering and quality of parts
What makes the most noise? That will be the one for me😎
Darn i wanted to hear them all!
Check out my other vids of them

Yeah I did that with mine.

Wow turbo
👍
I wish they’d come out with something like a scale small block Chevy v8
Well the V8 is pretty close
Look up Conley v8. Pricey though.
I Agree with Steve. I believe Dennis with Radio out control has one. I think is the one he purchased by parts. Not as whole because of the price.

Hey mate, you need a basic brushed speed controller hooked up to the starter motor and assigned to one of your channels on your transmitter.
Ive actually spent my money on a real stree car with a real v8...
But this is just simply awesome balls 👌👌
Cheers mate

Yeah man I don't see why not. I use something similar and there has been no issues

Hmm I am not sure mate. Definitely interesting tho, you could make a four rotor

Would the rotory br good for an rc car?
Yeah, definitely would be cool
I think the rotor engine haves a water pump now
That's great
Anyone know if there is a 5-cylinder engine like this somewhere?
Nope
can you make a flying drone with these?
Anything is possible
@@RCTanksTrucks247 I'm definitely interested in learning how such a thing can be done using a dji O3 unit and an rc engine
What about the enjomor 36cc and it also run on real gasoline
Yeah that's a great engine

you allreay figer it out to put them in a 1/16 king tiger?

Yeah the single cylinder is great. Very reliable and cheap too.
