The knowledge that you provide is outstanding. Thank you.
+Elizabeth Perez - Olivieri thanks -
Extremely informative video as always Tom!
One little mistake however, Elon Musk didn't found Tesla, he became the biggest share owner and voted the founder and at that time CEO Martin Eberhard out to become CEO himself.
Thanks for showing us a look at the bigger picture here...Nicely done on this one Tom. Always learning from you.
Please do a case study on Alibaba. There is a lot to learn from Jack and Alibaba.

YESSS! Thank you.
Could you make a case study on PHP Agency?
That would be great!
Avoidious hahah , I'm 100% sure they will eventually (Y)
Avoidious they will expose other company's decisions, but not their own, which is understandable
I was skeptical about Tom in the beginning but now I appreciate the knowledge he is bringing.

+GHE Films Videography - thank you very much I really appreciate that you watch. - Tom
Quick correction: Musk didn't found Tesla. He joined the board about a year after it was created and helped create the company you see today.
@kevin
Technically no, but for all practical intents and purposes yes.
Best case study yet! Can you do spacex as well?
Thanks Tom Patrick is so lucky to be around such a creative mind.
+Adnan Daad thank you - Tom
Just came by to say that although PBD is has the spotlight on valuetainment, I get plenty of value from these insights with Tom. Great job, keep it up!
I would be interested in seeing a case study about Bank of America. in the area i live in, you will always hear many bad things about BoA yet a large amount of them have a BoA account. Some would even say they're the worst company in America but i never understand how a Bank that big could have a negative reputation. Thanks for reading, I'm Enjoying the content.
I truly enjoy your lectures. Such a sharp insight.
Amazing insight!
Plz do a case on Infosys or Wipro
Just discovered your channel today and these are some very interesting case studies. Very professional and informative content. Cheers Tom
Thank you sir for the great content..it’s like a summary of thousands pages of book..
Thank you Tom. I would suggest, for the next case study, The Carnegie Steel Company. I think that would be nice if we can learn how Carnegie succeed in the Steel Industry.
+Krisna Syahdanadarma - Love that idea. Did you see the show on Cable? Thanks, Tom
Haven't seen that, really, on Cable. Although it could be just my
perception, but watching the case study of Carnegie's Steel Company
being brought by your way of delivering case studies, would be a Great video to watch. Even a worthed one, really.
Great video - you hit on all of dimensions of the ENERGY paradigm that Tesla is changing. Keep it up!
I like these videos talking about how these large companies today came up.
+Life Masterz - Glad to provide them - Thanks Tom
Enjoyed this video a lot, I have taken screenshots of the quotes you put in this video and will probably write them up my wall for motivation in the future
This video now opened my eyes to seeing a bigger picture. At first it was make a Mobile Carwash service in all states in America. Now, I want to get past that and make something else. Something bigger, something better.
please do a case study on amazon!
Finally someone in finance that sees it's not about the cars. Also, city battery packs are a huge market

Awesome video Tom! I just have to say that I heard Elon Musk say that the roof is going to be cheaper with those solar tiles than the regular ones. Now thats an even bigger step towards clean energy empire that Tesla is building.
+Vid Perpar that's really good news because I'm going to convert my own roof! - Tom
Thank you
Very nice presentation and also informative! Although, if you are a Tesla/Elon Musk fan like myself, there is nothing that you wouldn't know. My sugestion for the next case study is an agricultural company: AVEBE. Cheers!

Glad to hear from you, Tom. Indeed I'd love to hear a case study from you about Influencer Marketing (IM) & IM platforms with a few notes/questions:1. What is the market, key players (IM platforms) and their pros/cons/differentiation and biz models/revenue streams? I know Famebit from YT acquisition but there are numerous of them (socialbakers, Traackr, Virool, etc.)2. How IM will impact traditional way of marketing and the ecosystem (advertising creation, creative agencies, media agencies) with the new economy that IM brings to the table (influencer as content creator, curation vs. heavy duty content production, Big Fewer content in the past vs. more, snackable everyday content)3. Your POV on IM & IM management for big brands (directly or through agency)Bonus personal questions for you :) given your fanbase, would you consider IM as an influencer and what brands/business would you want to partner with as an "influencer" :) Looking forward to hear the case & your take P/S: would be great if you provide an email for ease of contact, exchange and tracking :)
Just fyi Telsla's burn rate is negative $3.48billion over the last 12 months or $6,500 per minute.
I am big fan of your videos!! Out of curiosity, how long do u take to prepare a case study?
this was pure gold
+Gear4Wheels Thanks - Tom
This strategy is fully laid out from the book "The Third Industrial Revolution by Jeremy Rifkin".
The 5 pillars of the Third Industrial Revolution:
1. Shifting to local renewable energy
2. Transforming buildings into micro power plants to generate energy on site
3. Deploy energy storage throughout the grid to collect intermittent energies
4. Use internet to transform the power grid into bi-directional communicating network
5. Electric cell vehicles which can buy and sell energy to the power grid
What we could expect is a power network from Tesla (pillar #4).
I'd like to see one on Goodyear! Top American tire company!
Tq tom for the case study, very useful, now i know its not about the car its about the energy
+karttick rajan - Indeed! Thanks, Tom
Thank you for this valuable video Tom. Cheers from Poland
+nadawcaPL - much love to Poland - Tom
Can you do a study of the staying power of Hudson's Bay Company (HBC)... It is the oldest company in North America and also once the largest land owner in the entire world. They own retail stores, under various subsidiary, in Canada, Belgium, Germany and the USA. It owns Saks Fifth Avenue and is now in talks to acquire Macy's. It would be very interesting to examine how the company has been able to not only survive but accomplish all that it has, since its founding in 1670.
Thank you for the very interesting videos Tom.
Andrew Carnegie created the steel industry in America. It was actually Cornelius Vanderbilt who built America's largest railroad empire.
I feel left better than you found me, Biz Doc! Thanks for the valuable lesson. Tesla, or at least the energy company behind it may be the go to stock to invest in while there is still time enough to buy in low to make 10's of millions or more after it splits several times when this thing hits the global market, and the demand for it exceeds the supply. Wooohoooo!
Pls do a case study on LEeco
awesome work guys! you're doing great!
+ChellyWhit Thanks, Tom
once again great educational video
+eadekolu - Thanks - Tom

review on big compagnies is great but can we have review on smaller compagnies, with advise to what they should do next . Would gift a lots of ideas and exemples to what to do to expand or to take it too the next step.
+Sebastien Boulay let me see what I can dig up thank you for the comment - Tom
This was a great explanation, I've watched a bunch of these to do some 'homework for a business accelerator I'm in and you're the only person who really 'got' the big picture. (Which is why we're all so captivated by Elon Musk in the first place!). I also think your commitment to Tesla is a great testament to their marketing - they sell a vision of the future, not cars.
I came across an interesting term the other day - system entrepreneur - in describing these folks looking to disrupt and build new industries/ ecosystems. We need more people like this learning how to build ecosystems to accelerate the change needed on the planet.

The main challenge here is the (very) low efficiency of the solar cells. It's the subject of extensive research in nanotechnology these days.
(BTW You know Tesla was not American. He was an immigrant.)
Mathemagician Guy He was an American citizen
Mathemagician Guy neither is elon he's south African but I'm glad they came here.
Fernando II de Taboada the entire US is made up of immigrants anyway
He was an immigrant and an American.
but not an illegal immigrant
