Do agree about the need for added sound deadening for the Model S cabin, but for the price of one Sapphire, you could buy two new Plaids with the track pack. And you can get a wheel instead of a yoke. Teslas were not designed to be dead silent at speeds above 95...

Right?! This was such a poor video. I'm really disappointed! With the resource of MT, they could've optioned out a S with a Steering Wheel and Track Package and not made excuses. They used an OLD S. The head and tail lights changed in late 2022. Why put out the video? Lost a lot of credibility with this one. Why not compare the Plaid with the GT, which is much closer in price. I know why - because the Plaid trashes it in all respects. They complain about handling, but didn't bother adjusting the torque vectoring option in the Plaid. Terrible video all around.
To be honest, I think it’s true that that’s unequal.
The plaid equals the air GT, die Track Pack corners much much better and would be the right comparison to the Saphire.
It’s still slower on the drag probably.

You won't understand why it's worth the $250K until you've driven one back to back with a Plaid. I've been in a LOT of Teslas. Their handling is ABYSMAL.
