@S63jah from what I've researched, the 911 Turbo S gets less range on a full tank of gas than a Lucid Sapphire gets fully charged. Plus, the Lucid is much faster (in a straight line). It's kinda hard to find range info on a Porsche so I'm waiting for someone else to chime in.

Every one calling thier shit built but all only did turn some screws while others did customization machining work. So yeah it's still a "built" cus it isn't stock but literally just a bolt on build. Which any car enthusiasts could do in their garage.

They said the Audi was getting faster, but I'd sooner think the Lucid was losing power as the charge drops. Definite downside to any electric car if you can only do a few runs before you're out of power. Still showing the inevitable future though. Soon enough internal combustion vs electric will be like a prop-plane vs a jet engine. I'm just glad combustion put up a good fight. I love my Tesla Model S Plaid but Lucid Air Sapphire but if i could own any sedan in the world it would be the Lucid Air Sapphire for sure! It took putting 4 people in car for the TT RS to win. Impressive

I used to drive a stock TT-RS of the same generation (in Europe). Not fond of the color - but great sound, great fun, loved it. I still have my Audi Cabrio 5-cylinder, such an iconic engine.

Mannn Audi and Volvo been pushing those 5 cylinders! They make power! I have two Volvo s60Rs both getting different mods :) ones an 05 ones an 07. Super reliable sleepers! AWD too!

I don’t care how fast the Lucid is, it looks exactly like a 2024 model Buick Regal that my grandma would enjoy. I’ve also only seen them in geriatric burgundy or geriatric navy. It’s somehow less emotionally exciting to look at than a Yaris. For a quarter million for a “fun” car there are just way too many options, which is why these aren’t selling. We’ve got some out here on the roads in the Bae Area but you’ll never see them in the canyons unless you watch the TopGear view about them. No EVs in general actually go do the fun weekend drives, it’s all Subaru / Miata / Corvette / other JDM tuner builds / the few people who actually use their Porsche / a few supercars. The Lucid is like the sedan equivalent of an AMG G63 but without the “look at me” factor, which is the majority of the appeal for that market.
I love DAZAs, one of the best sounding engines ever and unlike most petrol heads I like electric cars too so the results have me feeling a little conflicted lol. A couple points, the TTRS is neither a bolt on car or full on drag car, it’s somewhere in the middle. The Lucid is 250K, so it is much more expensive but at the same time, it’s faster than everything in its prices range and all the way up into the $1 million price range, which is extremely impressive. The TTRS is a little 2.5L 5 cly so the performance tuners are able to extract from it is also very impressive. With that 6870 I still think there’s more boost to push but overall the results were very interesting. Great video
Bro exactly why I got this exact car 18’ mk3 TTRS stage 3 on E these days. Just added fuel system and plus intercooler to make stage 3 bc it stage 2 for a long time. Anyways these things are crazy fast for not a lot of difficult modding. This guy just said 1000hp on a stock transmission it’s just the billet block clutch package. Outside of that factory a GTR nor G80 could never do this and hold up. I’m don’t care to have 1000hp I love this car at exactly where it’s at and it looks stock! This i5 platform is sick iRoz has a build this just hit 7.9 in 1/4 I think not much done to the transmission on that as well which again is nuts!!!! I’ll add my car now feels like a legit race car the pulls now are I’d imagine feel supercar like and no where near the supercar price but the looks it gets feels like a poor man’s supercar! Especially when I pull up at Kroger and my little 4 year old jumps out lol!! One guy was like “that thing has a backseat can’t be an R8 what is it?” It was at that moment I knew I picked the right car this thing just cost me under $60k originally owned by a VP in Alexandria, VA! It was bone stock when I had and it’s been mine ever since 2020😊!! I almost pulled the trigger on a C8 that cost almost $40k more 😅 so glad I didn’t do that SO GLAD!!!
5 doors, 5 passengers, at least 3000 lb more weight than the Audi incl. all passengers vs 2 doors, no seats, slicks!! That rubber and Audi's quattro system! The Lucid is truly astonishing. Is 250,000 dollars too much for 4 door luxury sedan ? There are no production cars under 1.5 million dollars that can outperform the Lucid! It is by no means expensive when the closest performance is above 1.5 million dollars.

Go watch Dragtimes for that. Honestly I'm not impressed with the Sadphire. It has a larger battery than the Plaid and the Plaid is three year old technology. Remember, EM did not want to release the Plaid+ back in 2021 which ran 8.9 because he felt it was not necessary so he released the Plaid. A lot of people have forgotten that. Lucid is WAY LATE to the game and Tesla will upgrade the Plaid and release the Roadster which both will destroy the Sadphire at the end of this year most likely.

But Sapphire is late to the game...9.0 car usually vs a 9.2....not so impressive because it cost 3x the price currently....Sapphire is more luxurious though and handles slightly better mostly due to better brakes from factory
There's BMW 1500 whp. m240i Xdrive running high 7 second quarter miles with full interior in all the options still working and a stock block. That would definitely be more competition🏁

All im saying is this, im a die hard ice guy, love my fossil fuel burning cars. But that Lucid Air Sapphire is just so gangster, when it comes to drag racing there are so many ego's out there, so to come out, with a luxury sedan on PS4's and keep up and or in some cases walk fully built 1/4 mile cars is unbelievable. And unlike the TTRS, that sapphire can go around a track, it has carbon ceramic brakes, an extremely developed chassis, might not be as enjoyable, but this car could truly piss some people off, if you can chalk up the change for it, i think its a car that is well worth the money.
Lucid is not only the Fastest in speed, it is also the Fastest in charging, Longest in range, Luxury comparable to German counterpart. I will have a Lucid Air and Lucid Gravity in my garage once available.
The most amazing thing is how close these two cars were. I could watch fifty more drag races with that match-up, I'm sure you guys can come up with some more good handicaps to apply :)

With all the mods and upgrades it would be $80K at most. It would probably beat a GT3 RS in a track race too, the Audi is lighter and faster. Honestly the TT RS has always been the best bang for your buck

Are you kidding? The Audi was on slicks and bare naked. The Lucid absolutely smoked it. They had to add several hundreds of pounds and do a bad start to finish even.
I don't blame the audi for doing a lil drag racing manuver at the end, but i think heads up on the 3rd wouldve been REAL good.

It's a straight up Lucid motors advertisement, but letting Doug the hometown homie race is acceptable for me.
I don’t care how fast the Lucid is, it looks exactly like a 2024 model Buick Regal that my grandma would enjoy. I’ve also only seen them in geriatric burgundy or geriatric navy. It’s somehow less emotionally exciting to look at than a Yaris. For a quarter million for a “fun” car there are just way too many options, which is why these aren’t selling. We’ve got some out here on the roads in the Bae Area but you’ll never see them in the canyons unless you watch the TopGear view about them. No EVs in general actually go do the fun weekend drives, it’s all Subaru / Miata / Corvette / other JDM tuner builds / the few people who actually use their Porsche / a few supercars. The Lucid is like the sedan equivalent of an AMG G63 but without the “look at me” factor, which is the majority of the appeal for that market.

I love DAZAs, one of the best sounding engines ever and unlike most petrol heads I like electric cars too so the results have me feeling a little conflicted lol. A couple points, the TTRS is neither a bolt on car or full on drag car, it’s somewhere in the middle. The Lucid is 250K, so it is much more expensive but at the same time, it’s faster than everything in its prices range and all the way up into the $1 million price range, which is extremely impressive. The TTRS is a little 2.5L 5 cly so the performance tuners are able to extract from it is also very impressive. With that 6870 I still think there’s more boost to push but overall the results were very interesting. Great video

Bro exactly why I got this exact car 18’ mk3 TTRS stage 3 on E these days. Just added fuel system and plus intercooler to make stage 3 bc it stage 2 for a long time. Anyways these things are crazy fast for not a lot of difficult modding. This guy just said 1000hp on a stock transmission it’s just the billet block clutch package. Outside of that factory a GTR nor G80 could never do this and hold up. I’m don’t care to have 1000hp I love this car at exactly where it’s at and it looks stock! This i5 platform is sick iRoz has a build this just hit 7.9 in 1/4 I think not much done to the transmission on that as well which again is nuts!!!! I’ll add my car now feels like a legit race car the pulls now are I’d imagine feel supercar like and no where near the supercar price but the looks it gets feels like a poor man’s supercar! Especially when I pull up at Kroger and my little 4 year old jumps out lol!! One guy was like “that thing has a backseat can’t be an R8 what is it?” It was at that moment I knew I picked the right car this thing just cost me under $60k originally owned by a VP in Alexandria, VA! It was bone stock when I had and it’s been mine ever since 2020😊!! I almost pulled the trigger on a C8 that cost almost $40k more 😅 so glad I didn’t do that SO GLAD!!!

Go watch Dragtimes for that. Honestly I'm not impressed with the Sadphire. It has a larger battery than the Plaid and the Plaid is three year old technology. Remember, EM did not want to release the Plaid+ back in 2021 which ran 8.9 because he felt it was not necessary so he released the Plaid. A lot of people have forgotten that. Lucid is WAY LATE to the game and Tesla will upgrade the Plaid and release the Roadster which both will destroy the Sadphire at the end of this year most likely.
@user-zf1ol7op7y Pliad upgrade won't happen until nezt year sometime likely. Roadster who knows...maybe this year or the next. But Sapphire is late to the game...9.0 car usually vs a 9.2....not so impressive because it cost 3x the price currently....Sapphire is more luxurious though and handles slightly better mostly due to better brakes from factory

All im saying is this, im a die hard ice guy, love my fossil fuel burning cars. But that Lucid Air Sapphire is just so gangster, when it comes to drag racing there are so many ego's out there, so to come out, with a luxury sedan on PS4's and keep up and or in some cases walk fully built 1/4 mile cars is unbelievable. And unlike the TTRS, that sapphire can go around a track, it has carbon ceramic brakes, an extremely developed chassis, might not be as enjoyable, but this car could truly piss some people off, if you can chalk up the change for it, i think its a car that is well worth the money.
