Wonderful metallic shine! ❤
With the muted colors and the gold it almost looks holographic really cool!
The gold is really lovely, even with the muted colors. I'll be interested to see what happens when you pour without first putting on a white base.
These paints look interesting. Looking forward to the experiment without the floetral. Thank you for trying out new products for us.
And thanks for the laugh with Satchmo and the Sky Raisons. 😉😂
It's beautiful 💗 I love how the gold shows through the rings but necessarily when looking straight on at the painting from a far
So glad you are showing this paint. I like that it is easy to pour directly, but not sure that I like it as cells are not possible. 💖💖
Wow! Looks holographic 😮
I appreciate you testing products for us. I learn so much from you. This new AL is great for someone starting out, or cannot get consistent mixing. Thank you ☺️ you’re the best❣️
OMG The gold between all the colors are glistening beautifully as you stretch!!! Me like!
Love that you tried out these new paints❤️
It does look really cool. I like the tree ring look. You just have to get use to a new product.
We appreciate all the product experiments
as a beginner it's all a bit over whelming
Wow it's beautiful! The iridescent is AWESOME
I think it’s gorgeous. Can’t wait to see it dried 🤗
I love the way it looks!
Wow... awesome.. can't wait to see the dried piece.
I love the swirls, the paint looks almost iredescent. Me , I love it!
Very excited to see how these paints work without the white base coat. Thank you for testing these out Gina, but the pastels that this came out as really are lovely!!!
this one is so awsome
Thank you for the experiment. You are very professional.
Perfect timing. I was curious about this.
Artist loft my fav metallics tnks for Demi it’s beautiful
GORGEOUS
Beautiful rings!!!!
Pre mix is probably good for Dutch pour
That's very pretty!!!
That gold is amazing ✨
Hi Gina, I just watched another video and the girl used a torch and the cells were crazy. I do like the art you created.
I subscribed to your channel. I look at your video on time, you always have new ideas and give me a lot of inspiration. Most of my inspiration comes from traveling, constantly drawing on the road.
Looks ok .
Love it.. anyways... the colors r beautiful...
We just got these in stock. How awesome!, Here’s hoping these are great! Can’t wait to find certain coupons to try. 😗
That is super pricey, but, yes that Gold is Gorgeous. I'll be curious to see your next outcome. :D
I purchased mine on sale. And it's the ready pour because I haven't tried this yet
Idk if I want the paint for pouring specifically I think this paint would be really nice as a almost base coat for a pour, or even as a layer to add dimension to the background. But the fluid acrylics from artist loft is really nice to pour with
Gina, I'm so glad you tested these, I saw them a week ago, but knew what I wanted. Interested to see the results! It is beautiful wet.
Did you do a wave?
WOW!!!
I think it's very beautiful! I can't wait to see it dry. I also can't wait to see you do it without the white. I hate how white paint mutes the colors so much sometimes.
My friend started using white under her pours & by the next day, it come up through the pour & ruins the whole thing.
I don't use white paint under my pours & don't seem to have the problem
It’s pretty a LOT❣️
Drying might improve the contrasts, since the violet will deepen. The colors and pour are very pretty. I love the effect you achieved.
I hope these paints dry a little darker. The gold is very pretty.
Did Sachmo catch the sky raisin? I’m still laughing!
I personally don't think these paints are worth the money. I use different paint consistencies depending on the Pour Technique and these paint would not work for all of them. Thank you so much for testing them, I really appreciate it.
It’s $20-22 at Michaels in Canada.
The way the paints blended, it looked like color shifting paint as you tilted it, which is pretty but not necessarily what you want. Thanks for testing!
Thank you for testing these products for us. How was the pouring medium compared to other pouring mediums.
Thank you for your experimenting. I think these are amazing and would like to use them in certain techniques. More expensive initially, but if you had regular paints and added floetrol$ and maybe a gloss/ varnish medium$, I wonder if the costs would be approx the same or less? Thank you again🌸🌼
J’adore les couleurs
Hi Gina. I just stumbled upon this video, even though I've been following for at least a year. I think those colors are gorgeous. I have bought a set of pre-mixed paints that I can't wait to try. So, thank you sharing this video and I have a question, sorry if you already answered it, you mentioned the lack of cells. What do you think would have happened if you had used silicone? In other words, can you add silicone to pre-mixed paints?
Only you could make something this beautiful with umm..how should I put this...questionable quality paints. If its that price in the US it works out to be ridiculously priced in Australia..if we even get it here. Interested to see the next video though. Thanks Gina! 😀💜🐨
I saw a few bubbles, but you didn't torch. I do agree with the issue with the sides. It should hold up as bright as the paint on the top surface of the canvas.
Tks for demo. Looks promising. Can u comment on differences using paints from tubes, bottles, premix.
Why n How. I’m really enjoying ur channel n some awesome art. 😎Pour On
The gold is very shimmery and it's a pretty painting but in comparison to the colors in the bottle which appear very bright, in the pour they look washed out. It will be interesting to see if not using a base coat makes a difference. I love the experimenting that you do.
I didn't realize that Artist's Loft was a Michael's brand. They are incredible on tiles. Dry to a beautiful sheen. I've had trouble with the gold though.
crazing too much
#skyraisin 🤣 I love it and love this painting👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🏼👩🏻🎨🎨💚🦋
I'd been trying to* get my hands in that Turquoise for almost 3 months now, always sold out, and definitely VERY pricey unless you use coupons!
It looks pretty. The turquoise looks iridescent! But yeah it doesn't hold the lines over the side😏
Floetrol is $14 a gallon at Home Depot.
Exactly!
Wish I had seen this video prior to buying Pouring Master ready to pour paint. My question is do you know if you can add resin to the paint prior to pouring?
They are available in the US. These are what I picked to start pouring and I do like them.
I didn’t like that the ingredients aren’t listed or the opacity. They also don’t list the ingredients on the pouring medium which smells really close to Elmers Glue so I’m wondering about the lightfastness and how it’ll stand up long term.
They all seem pretty transparent...at least else colors are. Which is strange for a metallic.
Dishes first now how about on a black background and doing a swipe i loved the gold and those edges a nice almost clear resin look.
I think the colors blended too much, and the product is pricey, so not sure if I would buy it. Thanks for the demo.
Remember Michael's always has coupons:-)
@@LA_ebike Used a 40 or 50% off my online/pick up in store order.
Gina,
Could you add a tiny bit of glue all to thicken up the paints??
To me it looks like one of those I'm tree rings that you see in the old trees I think it's really pretty I hope it does dry like it looks you know but I'm curious to see what the other one looks like that you do without the base coat
Omg did you just say a sky raisin? LMAO, that is hilarious.
Donde se compran estas pinturas aquí en España y como se llaman en el video no da tiempo a verlas bien gracias
Do you have to varnish all paintings?
Can anybody tell me where I can get Artist Loft ready mixed paints online I'm in the UK.
Very pretty colours. Did you torch it at all?
I didnt
I know you said that they were expensive paints but about how much and do you think they are worth buying the premixed stuff or doing it yourself
Expensive doesn’t equal quality in this case. Mix your own.
@@GinaDeLuca that's what I figured
"sky raisin" !!!!! 😂😂😂
Can i do this without the base coat?
So another artist did this also and she didn't get cells either and she left out the flotrol. However, shed id another with silicone and the cells were quite nice.
I hope they adjust it definitely too thin.
I was wondering how those worked ... I've used Hobby Lobbys version and they are just fine but much better priced at 5.99 also have their own medium and silicone. They do not add any info on the bottle either. So if Michael's is trying to go head to head with HL ... sorry Michael's lost big time on this one with their excessive over pricing on their items as usual. I live at Michael's only because they offer the best coupon savings but when I saw these on their website I just had to laugh. !!! HL version produces good cells also right out of the bottle , they also come in 4 or 5 bottle sets and I think the single bottles come in more color choices than the AL brand.......
To be fair, the Hobby Lobby bottles are less than half the ounces of these AL bottles (AL is 16.9oz and HL is 8oz) - so the price is closer than it appears. I personally would also honestly prefer a pre-mixed paint that doesn't create cells on its own - that way I can decide if I want them or not depending upon the technique and then add silicone on my own.
Where can I order Loft Ready Mixed Pouring?
It’s cheap in Denmark. Good paint costs a fortune here!
Who did the wave?
I think it's smarter to buy it pre mixed ... don't feel like adding floetrol to paint ...ijs
people keep saying on fb to not add water... do you agree with this? I find it balances out the mixture...
I wouldn’t add water to this stuff. It’s already very thin, but for other recipes, yes
Could it have been the white you put down first? It’s still interesting to watch you testing things for us. Thank you.
How hard is it to mix paint that someone would need to pay for half the paint?
How did it dry?
It’s still wet. 😬
@@GinaDeLuca LMAO 😂 🤣 oops🙋
I was watching with no sound because hubby n I were driving...I watched again once I got home and can't wait for your next video without using floetral base coat...and to see it dried of course😉. Awesome work and Thank you for testing!
Did you ever test the color pour brand from hobby lobby and joanns? They miss priced them in an ad a few weeks ago so I got them for 85 cents each regularly $7.99 I found them hard to use as well not enough instruction on how to mix them. I think I like mixing paint myself. Also hobby lobby now has a masters touch pouring medium I just saw but haven't tried!
I haven’t tried them.
It doesn’t need to be thinned? Has medium in it? Then why buy extra medium. Seems confusing to me. What are they claiming?
The separate medium would be to mix with regular paint.
Gina DeLuca is there any info on what that is? Sorry I’m trying to learn
Too thin for a ring pour. Looks like it would work a charm for the dutch pours though.
Deborah Gauvin thinking that also
There's lots of negative reviews on Michael's site about how thin this product is.
I’m not surprised. Stickier than crazy glue too!
The gold is pretty great, but the other colors not so much, I don''t i'll buy it.
What did you think of the pigment content? It looks too thin to me. If the pigment content is lower quality.......
I think it’s too thin for many techniques and the pigment load is less than ideal.
Thank you. I thought that might be the case but I haven’t tried this. Sounds like they may need to go back to the drawing board. Thank you for sharing this with the pouring world 🥰
If you don’t have to add anything else why are they offering a pouring medium?
That is to mix with regular acrylic paint.
I like to know what is in my paints, so I will not buy premixed paints.
Michael's overcharges because they assume u are using a 40-50% discount coupon
I think it's a waste of money, especially at that price. So, you're better off just buying and mixing your own supplies.
Hobby Lobby has their own brand of pre mixed which is on 5.99 a bottle and produces cells. They also sell pouring medium and silicone as well. Much better . Michael's is just sadly trying to compete with hobby lobby. Lol
I like the paint but they need to get the price down, it is way to expensive.
To expensive, mix your own paint 1/3 rd the price.
Agreed. Some folks can’t mix paint because of health issues, but I think there are better premixed paints out there.
It looks iridescent,
I think they could do a much better job. The gold just put a sheen over the entire painting. That is a clear indication of it being too thin. The colors should be more defined. I will not be buying this product. What if you had done a cool tone and a warm tone, you’d have so much mud you wouldn’t know what to do lol.
You are 100% right. The gold wouldn’t have done that if it were thicker. It’s a shame, it would have been a great product for beginners if it worked. The lack of coverage on the sides is an absolute no go for me.
Thank you for trying this new product. Will not be purchasing it.
