CHP pursues burglary suspects out of Orange County

- Authorities with the California Highway Patrol were in pursuit of a driver, and two passengers who were wanted for a burglary out of Orange County.
The suspects were leading officers in a chase in the northbound lanes of the 57 Freeway north of Brea before transitioning to the westbound 60 Freeway. Later, the chase moved to the northbound 710 Freeway.
Sky5 picked up the pursuit as the suspects were speeding through northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway, weaving in and out of traffic as CHP officers followed close behind.
After exiting the freeway at Rampart, the suspects bailed the vehicle and ran into the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, near Bellevue Avenue and Coronado Street.

Why did the reporters say “stand their ground” referring to the criminals possibly shooting it out with law enforcement. That is not “their” ground. That term refers to law-abiding citizens protecting what is theirs.

The crime was committed in Orange County. The DA down there will prosecute so unlikely it gets thrown out or downgraded. Spitzer actually prosecutes as opposed to the DA in LA

Orange County politics is much different than LA. Its almost like all of the Socal conservatives went to Orange County 50+ years ago. 3 out of 5 of the OC congressional districts are Republican and the area I live not only has a Republican Congressman but also a Republican State senator and Republican State Assemblyman. I always say there's a reason the Dodgers are Blue and the Angels are Red lol

They really should start making television shows from these pursuits (true reality TV.) They'd never run out of episodes and no actors are needed. It would be a good fill in for the actors and writers strike.

The male reporter stated there's an unknown amount of suspects in the vehicle, then the female reporter asks, do the police know if there's more than two suspects in the car. I guess she wasn't listening. In the first clip it shows two suspects getting out of them car and ran away, but in the second clip they said one suspect was in custody and two were still at large. How can we believe anything they say. 🤔
