Hey Beautiful, I’m so glad you made this video! I have never been a big eater. And as I’ve gotten older it’s hard for me to have an appetite. This really gave me good ideas simple and clean eating!☺️👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥🔥❤️
Hi there! My mother is 93 and although she has a good appetite, she likes her food to be more heavily spiced, so I add a LOT more dried herbs, garlic powder, pepper etc. to her veggies & meats. I think that helps her to stay interested in eating.
Thanks Colleen, it's improved a lot over the past few months. Still waiting to see the gastro (I think we have a phone consult on Monday, but it might get pushed to the 11th...)
Good morning Cheryl. So sorry to hear you have acid reflux. Hope you get the answers you need, my friend. I've never baked a loaf of bread. Your bread looks delicious. In fact your whole dinner looked very appetizing. Love a little nip in the air. Blessings, love, and peace...MaryEllen
Hi MaryEllen! The best thing about that breat (aside from the taste) is it's reallly easy on my tummy. There's no bloating, or a heavy feeling after eating. It's amazing - it just feels light and filling (probably because the flour is lower in gluten). Yes, I'm especially enjoying the cooler mornings. Enjoy your weekend, my beautiful friend... xo Cheryl
Thank you, Cheryl for the recommendation of Live It Up! I purchased a pack after you spoke about it in one of your last videos. I’ve been drinking a glass every morning and it has really jumpstarted my new health routine. Your hair looks wonderful!
Greetings Cheryl! I just love these videos! That coffee substitute looks wonderful. How is it working with einkorn flour as far as breadmaking goes? Do you have to alter your recipe? I'm very interested in seeing if I can tolerate it. Thanks! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
Hi Jean! So glad you enjoyed watching. For the einkorn, I now use a recipe specifically for that type of flour so it's foolproof. The only challenge is getting used to working with a stickier dough. It's much softer than regular flour and it needs much less water.
I sure hope you get your acid reflux figured out. I put that ringcon in my wishlist last time you talked about, just haven’t had a chance to research it further. After almost 4 yrs of IF and keto, I have finally learned how to maintain my weight, for me, my kryptonite is bread and starches. I love fresh baked bread more than I love my husband😂 And I love the bread making process, it’s just so basic and earthy, right? The aroma….omg. These days I have bread only on special occasions. I can no longer eat rice, Irish potatoes or sweet potatoes. The only pasta I can eat is chickpea or lentil. Fruit doesn’t seem to be an issue for me. G and I still have ice cream a couple times a month, no problem. Speaking of G, he had surgery on the 22nd, it was very successful, they got clean margins! He had his catheter removed on the 30th and is doing very well! He can’t lift anything for six weeks, and he’s bored, but he’s really recovering quickly. We are both so relieved and grateful. Enjoy your wkend my friend! Hugs, j ❤
oh my gosh, that's the best news ever!! I am so glad you're man is doing so well. I suspect that once I finally get in to see the gastro, he will probably have me on a restricted diet. Until then I will be enjoying my bread 😊 At least most grains are calming to my digestion. Hope you're both enjoying your day. Love and hugs... Cheryl
Actually it only takes about 5 minutes to mix the flour and water, then you gotta wait for 12 hours for it to proof. Then maybe another 10 minutes to get it in the the oven. It's very little actual work!

Cheryl, are you sleeping in your smartwatch in order to track your sleep? Thanks for another great video!
Yes I am! But it's a smart ring, so it's more comfortable to sleep in than a watch.
Yummy and healthy…And your beautiful garden! ❤

I just want to know how do you ever find the time, I mean baking bread? Well I'm late watching, what's going on. Come cook for me please!😔😍
