I think that Texas heard Mike say that he wouldn't be seeing snow for a while...
Dan Sharpe hahaha 🤣
The thing about Mike is the fact that when he eats the food and explains the taste It make me Really hungry
I've gained weight from watching him 🤣🤣
@@tabbyzhaulsEverythingels me too!! Lol 😂 But now I want one and don’t have an In-Out in Baltimore Maryland area! I think the only company we have is the Shake Shack!
It's mostly watching him eat for me. His descriptions are mostly like "Wow it's really porky/beefy/chicken-y" or "delicious/al dente/AMAZING"
And every dish is one of the best he ever had
@@MrHeuveltje Imagine trying to make a tier list of food Mike has tried, it's impossible. Everything is either AMAZING/DELICIOUS/BEST I'VE EVER HAD
I have no idea about the taste, but whenever you see American Style food in Korea and Japan - it looks as amazing as the photos in the ads and menus. Presentation is on point.
Mikey: I won’t see as much beautiful snow
Texas: let’s welcome him.
i thought texas only had a few inches 😭 it be Minnesota with all the snow
Lol Texas is doing it’s best northern impression

Mikey, you should put together a food tour company where people’s tours are based on food destinations. 🤞🏼
Wendy, you should go for it!

As a Houstonian, i hope that you choose Houston. There are so many amazing restaurants here. I recommend going to an amazing restaurant called The Blind Goat, the owner is Christine Ha, she's a Master Chef winner, despite being blind. Trust me, you won't regret going to Houston.
Oh is that where she opened her restaurant?! 😃 I saw the season with her and thought she was awesome!
@@Gigi_K yup! She opened her restaurant a few years ago, she has a youtube channel where she showed the whole process of opening her restaurant.
@@smol_bean74 Geez! Where have I been? 🤦🏻♀️ Gonna have to check that out, thanks!
I saw her audition video and I was so impressed by her. She's so awesome and an amazing cook too.
100% He's just going to say it's inferior to the South Korean version.
Sitting here, with nothing in the fridge and no money. Fulfilling my food desires through these videos and drooling. At least I can make bread rolls.
Schloppy
Watching Mikey eat frozen precipitation with honey 🍯 n a spoon while high🌳 makes so much sense.

Everyone else: thicc burger
Mikey: This succulent juicy booty of a patty
hey that looks like a giant snowcone. this guy eats everything
I used to open my mouth when the snow fall like a Whale Shark gulping down food.
ALSO - Houston has THREE Jollibees where as Dallas only has ONE. Important fact!!
He has a lot of Jollibee in New York though so that's probably not a factor. He could do another food tour in Houston of all the different Asian food since that's endless. The Mexican food and Soul food scene is something he hasn't really explored yet and I would love for him to check that out (especially Breakfast Klub). Dallas might have better American style or European style restaurants, but the ethnic food scene in Houston is unrivaled in Texas.
Moms touch is a dream, I remember being a student in Seoul and having it every week, it is another level
If we learned anything at all in the korea series is put cheese on EVERYTHING! 🧀🤤😋
You can say, America did really influence that part of Korea.
Whereas Russia influenced upper part of Korea.
Sad to see that because of world superpowers and world politics, the two similar countries aren't same anymore.
LOL right?! Since he enjoyed that ice cream with cheese on it that he had several times in Korea so much, I think he should put it on his dessert menu at the Korean BBQ place he's opening in Texas!!
...and garlic
Houston because I've been waiting for you to do a food tour here
Another Houstonian
I'd love him to do food tours here in Houston too. He needs to join this amazing foodie Facebook group called "Chowdown in Chinatown-Houston". We talk about all the best Asian restaurants to eat in all over the city.

I love that you describe all the smells and flavours going on in everything you eat

Another great vlog Mike !
Always hungry after your vlogs Mike
That first burger looked devious
hi mike!!! I've been watching your RUclips channel for a week. u just came up out of the blue and because it was the one with you filming in korea during quarantine. i think it was your first day? i clicked to watch the video because it was my first day of quarantine in korea also, coming back home from a business trip in the states!! i normally don't write comments. but had to today!! seeing u pick out cherry jubilee and yogurt they're my absolute favorite, too!!! i literally eat only those 2 flavors!! such coincidence!! i luv watching muckbang videos "only" when I'm on a diet. i get satisfaction through other people eating. lol
but even though I'm not on a diet now, which I should be doing cuz I'm gaining weight during my quarantine time.. i keep watching your videos non stop!!! you're my favorite!! and plus the huge bites you take, the portions u eat. i exceptionally luv the way u describe how it tastes it's really amazing!!! i love taking huge mouthful bites and eat a lot, too!! just wanted to tell u that u have a huge fan in korea!!!! btw. no bed sheets???? at 2 places in a row??? really weird!!! never saw that before...hmmmm
"I want to pace myself". Proceeds to order 2 burgers+fries at just one place. 😁
He is living the dream.
😂😂🖒
I live in Houston and I definitely recommend it! Houston has diverse people and diverse food. There is excellent Korean, Thai, and Indian. You name it Houston has it. We weren’t call the fattest city for no reason LOL.
Love the video as always Mikey!! 💖 can't wait to try them too as soon as the situation gets better. Keep safe 😊
This whole video is why I love you mike
Good Lord those Downtowner burgers looked like heaven.
My plan was going to japan but now I’ll have to go to both japan and Korea after seeing that burger
Anthony Bourdain filmed one of his shows here in Houston a couple of years before he died. He loved the diversity.
Yup, it's called Burns BBQ
Rest in peace - legend
Kamesa Smith - Burns is the BEST!!!
12:28 look at that burger steaming... watching this at night so I could at least dream of eating in Korea. Thanks Mikey
I really didn't expect Micky to use Truffle honey on the Snow Flakes mannnnnnn ur a hard-core foodie☺........and I love it❤
it's insane how many variety of new flavors korea has, especially when it comes to fast food. my country COULD NEVER.
As far as I know. South Korea doesn't have a lot of restrictions of their food quality. So I guess they can go crazy on how bad the junk food is for people.
In Canada we put our tasty maple sugar on the snow, rolled up on a popsicle stick, yummy eh!
My wife was just telling me about doing this.
It's gotta be Houston Mike overall the food scene is unmatched in Texas, you have to go eat at Himalaya and explore the Indian/Pakistani culture along with China Town and the Vietnamese food and we have amazing Korean food and the best sushi I don't know who you are listening too talking about dallas, you may as well go to Oklahoma if you choose dallas
Great video as always. I just wanted to say happy holidays to and your family. No ice cream for me after all that food, but looking forward to your great videos in 2023. Cheers!!!!
Houston is closer to the Gulf and you can get some fresh seafood.
And Hurricanes.

15:48 “dad’s touch, I should be running”

Houston is waaay way more diverse, especially when you think of cultures outside of the East Asian ones. But within East Asia, it's worth it for the absolute top tier Viet food alone. Probably only matched by SoCal and the Orange County or Westminster areas.
You're a racist. Congrats!
Watching Mike make snow cones out of real snow with a hint of honey and peanut butter is mesmerizing , Cry cheese burger is the future.
i had no idea downtowner existed, im pretty much next to it as well. thanks for the recomendation essentially. getting it tonight

Yes 😊 come to Houston for your food tour Mikey.
I would love another one in Houston. I think the last time he did a food tour of Houston was when he came here to check out the restaurant he was planning on building and that was back in 2019. Lots of things have changed since then.
E
yes, the chinese food here is really good, and Mike can't go for long without his chinese food, also alot of great viet food and they are both close to each other, plus Houston traffic will bring back memories of NY, but not as bad
I hope he still comes despite the snow here in Texas lol
@@danip2476 the snow seems to be gone now, I think that's the last of any freezing weather we have this year, and going by what's been going on the last several years, it won't be that bad next year
Mom’s Touch is amazing!! Can’t wait to be back in Korea for some of it 🥺
My vote is for Houston! I don’t know why just felt more for that city than Dallas 😄 This makes me miss In N Out 😭 Thanks for bringing me some Friday joy with this video! Hope you’re having the best evening! 💜
Austin, TX is cooler it has more modern Atmosphere to it plus they have great bbq there as well. Well I should say most cities in Texas has great bbq restaurant with its own Atmosphere to it.🍖🥩
👊🤠✌
Taxes are ridiculous in Austin, but then again I’m sure they are fixing to go through the roof when we get the bill for the Covid tab! Mikey will think he’s still paying New York taxes.
I would say Austin is better.
I would say Houston because they have awesome Mexican food, and Great BBQ,
"Once the snow is thick enough, we can eat it."
Shout out to everyone who gets the ref
Mikey is a Yaksha confirmed?
Mike is the missing Yaksha
LMAO
Yeah GI reference

Looks really good. Keep up the videos.
Go to Houston! Gotta shill, but my relatives run Flip’N’Patties, a fusion Filipino place that’s worth the visit!
Haven’t had burgers in a while, and my mouths just watering watching Mike eat.
Houston for sure!! From what I've seen, so much more diversity :)
Yeah. Because diversity is what makes Korea and Japan so cool. I bet they can't wait to celebrate their first white European or African head of state. The Chinese, Japanese and the Koreans can barely tolerate one another for long standing historical reasons. Most of South-East Asia, India and Australia are terrified of China and with good reason. Watch some actual news or read a history book sometime. 😏
@@haitolawrence5986 this guy gets it.

If you go to Dallas you can do a collab with youtuber Seongkyoung Longest and her husband Jacob from Asian at Home. They moved to Texas from Cali. That would be an awesome video!
Did you see any footprints in the snow from those singing children in the woods?? 🥶😱 🤣😂
Please come to Houston!!!! Its amazing here! Besides the food, there is such a better culture and "feel of the city" than Dallas. You will love the vibe the more time you spend here! No offense, Dallas, you guys are great also, spent alot of time there also!
He doesn't seem to like food cooked in America. He is constantly promoting South Korean food as being far better in every way.
@@brainlesseel4808 i mean...food quality in the U.S. is mediocre in many places here...can't be denied.
@@kristalcallator2806 to assume most restaurants in the U.S. are mediocre at best is to call every immigrant who immigrated here mediocre. Including those who immigrated from South Korea.
@@brainlesseel4808 not every restaurant is owned by an immigrant. And plenty of places here are filled with Americanized or simplified versions of all kinds of authentic cuisines. Also it is a reflection of the quality of ingredients available here in the US. You find great places here, not saying you don't, but mostly not. Especially compared to food tasted abroad. Flavorwise and qualitywise. Simple thing observed by the mouth.
@@kristalcallator2806 I realized my reply was emotionally charged. So thank you for not taking advantage of that. He definitely had a right to his opinion and I can't vouche for South Korean food. So maybe I don't know what good food is.
Always welcome to Australia I love Korean food Awsome video great reviews 😋
Houston has a large variety in addition to the Chinatown. The food scene here will not disappoint!
We have Korean, Japanese and more varieties here in Houston
burgers are my favourite food and finding out through these videos how good the quality of the beef is in South Korea, even in the fast food places, makes me want to go more than ever. Thanks so much for this Korea series Mike its been amazing.

Yesterday Night I was complaining about not getting any new upload from your channels ... here you go , you fulfilled my needs 🤣👍🏻
No matter how not hungry I am when I start watching these videos, I'm always starving by the end of it.
If you're moving to Texas for food, there is no choice but Houston. There is good food all over, but Houston is an underappreciated gem when it comes to variety and quality.
Houston!! Dallas may have the better airport but were twice the size. The variety of food is enormous.
This is true. Huge variety of cultures and cuisine on Houston.
These Korean videos have been absolutely fantastic, I feel like I’m really there! K POP, K DRAMAS, K BURGERS, KIMCHI, bring it on....oh....and I’ll take cheese with that! 👍🏼😋 And definitely Huston!

As a Houstonian, we'd love to have you here. There's a lot of food here in Houston outside of Chinese and Viet food. We have lots of BBQ, Mexican, Southern American, Thai, Country, Soul food, etc. Its a melting pot of people here and since I don't have a lot of experience living in Dallas I can't speak for them. I have enjoyed a lot of the sights Houston has but be warned, the weather is very taxing on the body. It can be ridiculously hot here for no reason even in the winter. Our winter is basically only one month of the year and we see snow like once every 5 years if that gives you any perspective. This year every other major city in Texas had snowfall. Our Korean food culture is growing by the year but not as fast as Dallas. I hope you see this and I wish you a great upcoming 2021.
I love Cry Cheeseburger! Very affordable and tasty! I hope you added some soda to that ade base btw. I decided to try the ade for the first time on my last visit and I didn’t realize that you’re supposed to mix the base with soda until I tasted it 😂
