Mike has such a large vocabularies to describe foods, he could make plain water sounds tasty
Gorb Locke he can sell Leonardo DiCarpio’s pen easily. 😁
Right? Hahaha. So eloquent...
Plain water is delicious
Corntoll Gaday I think he describes the food in a really honest opinion.

Nobody:
Mike Chen: “This bowl of cereal could really use some hot oil”
Finally chen!!
This McFlurry could really just use some hot oil!
Mike Chen is the only person that can make fast food look so delicious and make me want to eat it. If you are in to food, how about taking a peak at my channel and let me know what you think? :)
I'd like to call gravy as western soup for rice and practically almost everything
"This glass of water could really use some hot oil."
Biggest take from this video:
Philipines mcdonalds has the only working ice cream machine in the world
because big brain
we even have a whole different stand for that that’s usually outside the mcdonalds that sells different kinds of ice cream
HAHAHA
sg too, they separate the ice cream stand sometimes
lets be honest all southeast asian McDonalds has a working ice cream machine
Any other filipinos triggered when he didnt *mix the mcdonalds spaghetti*
Im a Filipino and I don't mix my spaghetti. 🤣 I'm weird af
SweetTooth Same here tbh. It gets mixed anyway the more you eat
@@the-ma-an Right? I feel grossed out when I mix it :D
@Genesis I did
I was suprised that the gravy is a dip of thd chicken but he dip it on the fries tho
“They give you a lot of rice”
Mang Inasal: Hold my unli rice.
IsaDalawaTatlo Hahaha that's true
Haha inasal is my favourite
HOLy SH*t that’s true, my cousin had like 10 big scoop of rice! Mang Inasal is soooo goood.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAH
Oh yeah! Show 'em mang inasal! Haha
He spent so much in jollibee that it became brighter and brighter outside 😂
Ikr what was that about
Indrakshi Thakur Traffic in Manila is terrible so he probably went early in the morning for the convenience of getting there in a short amount of time
@@charlynlapak9296 Except Manila traffic is horrible 24/7. Last time I was there, we needed to get to the airport at 3:00am. 2 1/2 hours to get there from Imus City. Traffic was just as bad at 1:00am as it is at 1:00pm. Couldn't believe it.
ArgentOrangeOK Really? I have to admit, I haven’t been there since last year but I never encountered traffic early in the morning. I’ve had 3 or 6 am flights before and it always took less than 30 minutes to get to the airport (I was never anywhere nearby). I think that quite a few people are still out around 1am though.

I'm a filipino and it really melts my heart when Mike likes every food he eats in the Philippines. I can really can't stop smiling watching your videos hihi

Mike: 'They give you a lot of rice.'

John Ryan Parman lol, they don’t give enough!!!
And he said they give you big chicket fillets. *Lies*
John Ryan Parman they always served a big sized rice here in America than in the Philippines

Haha he spent so long at Jollibee the outside went from dark to light.
He probably went there as early as 4 or 5 am till 6 or 7am. Its acceptable 2 hours of eating plus filming.

Love Jollibee’s. I just discovered it a month ago here in Sacramento! Searched for it after watching Chonny and Delena vlogs. Hands down best fried chicken ever.. my favorite item on the menu? The Peach Mango Pie!!!!!! ❤️ hope all is well Mike! Love your vlogs
The way the city just woke up behind you lol how long were you at the jollibee 😭😂
I think he got there by 4:30 am or 5:00 am then shooting ended by 5:30 am or 6:00 am
I was actually looking for this comment. Lol ahaha
I'm Eating Jollibee At Night Before We Go To Hong Kong
😏😏😅😅
I think he had someone to tell him to go that early. Thousands of people go there everyday.
MIKE! YOU MISSED OUT THE BEST ONES! YOU SHOULDVE TRIED:
-ALOHA CHAMP BURGER #1
-CHEESY BACON MUSHROOM BURGER (the beast)
-THE ULTIMATE BURGERSTEAK
-PEACH MANGO PIE(HEAVEN)
-PANCIT PALABOK!!!
Hoping for a part 2 🙏🙏🙏
aloha and cheesy bacon are seasonal burgers. jollibee doesn't offer it in the Philippines at the moment, especially that it is the lenten season
He dipped the fries in gravy, it was meant for the chicken 😭
MonMon298 oooooh now i kno
Adobotrash he can not eat everything all at once!!! Ok?!
Mark Gil Lalangan then you havent seen his full potential yet lol😂
(I know this post is kind of long, but I'm stuck in my house during quarantine and I MISS MANILA)
I yearn to go back to the Philippines and eat at both places again. The meals are so affordable if you're used to American prices (even the higher priced large meals of a big mac and 1/4 pounder are around $4 bucks) you can swap the drink for a SPRITE FREEZE that the US doesn't have for some reason. The matcha McFlurry's are the best (so are all the matcha lattes at Starbucks). I love the nugget sauce you can get and their nuggets tasted fresher than ours. I also liked getting Happy Meals because the toys at the time were Super Mario and I had to have them.
Jollibee was pretty great too. I really liked their chicken. Their spaghetti is fine, expect that it's very sweet and interesting. I love love love their pies, I had a mango one. The rice is good and the gravy goes with everything. We also at a lot of Chow King, everything was good there, everything.
KFC is fun because they HAVE A GRAVY DISPENSER. Do you realize how awesome that is? You can self serve yourself all the gravy you want on your plate. I even saw some putting gravy in one plate to share at the table. It's the stuff of legend. They also still have the Twister sandwiches but they were sadly out and we didn't get one.
Kenny Rogers Roasters still exists in Asia and I highly recommend buying one of everything there. Brownies are super good and so are all the sides.
La Lola Churros might be the best dessert ever made. Get them dipped in the coating (I had butterscotch) and also get the "hot chocolate" on the side that is thick enough to be closer to a chocolate dip. It's divine.
The other best dessert ever is - Go to an SM market, (That's where I was but I'm sure other places have them) get a 15p turon filled with langka and banana and brown sugar. It's so amazing. While there, you can also buy a bottle of decent rum for like $2 dollars. You're welcome...
Gravy "I think this is for the fries"
Me: Nooooo it's for the chicken joy!
😂😂😂
He knows our secret!!! I dip fries on their gravy too lmao just because I don't like their tomato ketchup. Either the gravy or I ask for hot sauce XD
@@minmin-zr3lq well, gravy is either for the fries or for the chicken but it should be for the chicken hahaha Fries and Ice cream is good too.
@@noreengrace151 yessss! XD
@@minmin-zr3lq I dip everything in the gravy - chicken, rice, fries, I'd put gravy on my gravy.
I noticed that the Filipinos regard gravy as soup and not a dipping sauce. I have seen Filipinos pouring the gravy into their rice and asking for more - I think that is why KFC in the Philippines have gravy dispensers at the dining area.
STRICTLY DUMPLING
Eats pretty much everything, usually not dumplings XD
HAHAHAHA!!!!
Mike Chen is the only person that can make fast food look so delicious and make me want to eat it. If you are in to food, how about taking a peak at my channel and let me know what you think? :)
Why does every McDonald's outside of the America offer so much variety. America food chain need to step up their game!!
Because us Americans are uncultured swine. We don't know what good food actually is. All we know is money. I'm ashamed.
Its because they go by regional likes / dislikes. They also have to follow other countries food regulations.
Honestly its the same with 7/11 most outside the country will rock your world... the US is just stale imo
Because more peopleare used to the mcdonalds in america and ppl think that other countries’s menu’s are unique which is not tbh you’ll get tired of it
American fast food may be cheap by US standards, but when they go abroad, they don't really get to be cheap (by the other countries' currency standards). The variety in their foreign counterparts need to level up to justify the price. That, and to suit the taste of the locals as well.
US fast food selection per se isn't bad. It's just too dependent on burgers.
Whereas Asian countries normally include rice plus entree.
Because the only thing that they know is grounded beef with cheese only or simply just meat and cheese.
Only Mickey Chen- “Shake Shake my fry”??? LoL
Mike's videos are the only videos I'll never get tired of watching again and again.... He's the best food vlogger for me.
Mike Chen: McDonald's got the rice game here!
*Mang Inasal has entered the chat*
Takimono I know right? I once saw 2 people ate a piece of chicken......with almost 8 servings of rice. The employee ended up leaving the almost empty rice container in their table....

Mike you should try the peach mango pie from jollibee thats something beyond amazing.
Sounds delicious 😍
Its hilarious that the peach mango pies look like pies from mc donalds here (except fried) but in philippines you get 2 and they are really small.
TheJoker peach mango pie is DELICOUESYWJS
everytime I go to jolibee I get peach mango pie
Hell yeah!!!
Also try tuna pie and palabok
Your videos are amazing dudee...makes me hungry everytime😂
We are currently on an enhanced community quarantine here in the Philippines and seeing your vlog about Jollibee makes me miss their meals even more. 😣 I'm glad you liked our beloved Jollibee. Bida ang saya! 🐝
Just like what I thought, you'll love Jollibee.
Just a few things:
1. The gravy is mainly for the chicken, but hey, I dip the fries in the gravy too. That's why I always, ALWAYS, ask for a refill
2. The chickenjoy is the bomb when its freshly cooked. That's why I always ask for the thigh part and say "willing to wait" cause its worth the wait.
3. The breakfast meals, hands down, I've tried all of them and I just decide on my order depending on my mood
4. The spaghetti, that's the pinoy flavor. Personally, I love the palabok best. You should've tried that.
Lastly, Jollibee beats mcdo everytime. Hope you get to try Jollibee again 😁

The Asian side of me kept thinking y is he not using a spoon to eat the rice but with a fork 😂

Remember he's chinese-american, he either uses chopsticks or knife and fork combo. If he does use a spoon, it's the one that he uses for soups/noodles
