@Carol yeah, I’m not sure why a lot of us Americans hate flavor and juice :(. I worked in a restaurant where people almost always got their beef cooked medium well to well done
@Carol I went to Korean Bar B Q in Manhattan with the people I work with 2 years ago. I am also a Chef (2nd profession) One couple let me dictate when the mat was done. Some other people were saying it was still raw. It was perfectly cooked. By the end everyone was eating it properly. We were an interesting group. One guy born in China, one guy and his wife were from Pakistan, One guy an American born to Puerto Rican parents, One girl from Kurdistan, One girl an American from Chinese parents, The couple were from Connecticut. I was born in Queens. Most people can see the thinness of the meat and really overcook it. Except my oldest brother. He likes his meat dry and leathery.
Thank you mike for being a big inspiration hopefully someday when they pandemic ends I could travel to the places you’ve been and taste all the good food you ate👍🏽

Was the reason I tried boba tea (love fruit ones with popping pearls, low sugar), seaweed salad (wasnt for me but I’ll try it again), miso soup and mochi
Actually my best friend does not do hotpot due to the multiple cross contaminations. I agree with her. But it is a huge industry, so it probably is mostly safe considering it is boiling most of the time.

That was funny when they were cooking the meat I was like, “I think they overcooked the meat.” Then the owner switched up the grill pan and I was thinking, “he knew they were over cooking the meat.” Lol!!!
