I don’t recommend starting a digital footprint for her. Everything on the internet is forever. Let her make her own footprint when she’s able to make her own decisions that she can stand by & explain.

Agree ,,,, I am tired of seeing parents using their kids for social media popularity ... what if when they grow up they don't want to be seen on the internet? SOOO many parents today on Instagram are using their kids for making money .. its sad
I would say don't put your kids on social media. It's not their choice. You can talk about being a parent without showing your kids. It's important to respect your kid's privacy IMO. At the very least just do a lot of research about it before you decide.
let alone it´s super dangerous with all the things happening in the net
Remember to take care of your mental health too because after the birth of my first child I got real bad postpartum depression and it almost took me out. Your body will do what it does when baby comes, but surround yourself with tons of support, sleep when baby sleeps and really pay attention to your mental health.

I'm so glad more and more moms speak up about ppd and make it known. ❤❤ I've lived through horrid ppd and ppa. Biggest suggestion don't let it go to far and try to hide it...
My parents did not post me on social media and I am so grateful. I now have no social media. It is best to not have kids on social media and not post their information such as their birthday. Keep your kids off social media if you can.
I'm a left-wing atheist so I disagree with you on most things but I like listening to this podcast from time to time because I feel how genuine you are in your opinions and it allows me to see another POV. Good luck to you on your parenting journey.

There are always "keyboard warriors " who think they have the answers for you. Take it one day at a time and enjoy your baby! They grow up so fast and you'll turn around and say...."where it it go?"

It’s not better. We reported three coaches this year. Not enough evidence is what we were told. Pulled our daughter out of the sport. Thank God for His final judgment.
Honestly, she cannot consent, which means it can be considered exploitation. I honestly wouldn't put her out there as you do NOT know who is watching/viewing your posts...which is super scary.

I agree! I liked her vlog. I could never get into the podcasts and never checked in on the channel when they weren’t vlogs. Or rarely did.

I teach gymnastics and there are so many girls named Navy. Go with a classic or family name. Dig through familysearch and find a name from one of your ancestors. :)

After the baby is born and you are all healed make sure you always take time to yourselves. Maybe a date night once a week or every other week. You have to ALWAYS make time to work on your marriage and talk to one another like adults not just babies talk. My husband and I would ban any talks pertaining to the children on date night. We had a little local neighborhood bar and restaurant that had Lobster for dinner every Thursday with fresh asparagus and baked potatoes for $13.99 a meal. Probably a fortune now 😂😂You don’t want to loose yourselves when you become parents
. You definitely don’t want to look at your children having children and when you are alone you two have nothing to talk about. Im sorry it’s just extremely hard to maintain your adult connection with one another. You have to continue to work at it. God bless all 3 of you 🙏🏻💖🙏🏻

So one thing I wish you would have done this season that I just thought of was one of the pregnancy sympathy bellies that Jonas could have strapped on and seen how it was to carry the extra weight. The second thing is I agree about the politics in gymnastics and I honestly have high hopes things are getting better and that 2024 will be unlike the past and it will just be about the gymnastics. Finally, I wish you well with the rest of your pregnancy, take care and enjoy your time because they do grow up so fast. Definitely would like to see the podcast continue
Yes to season 2. Talk about being new parents.
Please do not post your child or make her an account etc… parents in this era really have not thought about their kids as adults in the near future- children can NOT consent and it’s very upsetting to see how kids are used to gain attention for the parents.
It's up to her if she wants to post her child it's what everyone does now a days you can't tell someone not to post something
Make an email though for her and you can send photos and messages of stuff she does growing up and then give it to her when she is a teen or so

Thank goodness you have basic mother roles of staying at home. I hope they stay true to that value as time continues. Children need there mothers during there adolescent years

My daughter does gymnastics and her gym changed to NGA gymnastics and we absolutely love it!
When it comes to religion I think it’s important to be in the same realm like if your both Christian’s or both believe in god it’s easier. I have found with some atheists it’s hard because they don’t have the same view of spiritual marriage and take each other for granted a bit more.
I disagree with this. Just bc someone is atheist doesn’t mean they don’t value their partner as much as someone who is religious. And actually, sometimes not having a religious belief system can help someone value their partner more for who they are as a whole and not just how they fit into a biblical or other religious description of a wife or husband. For example, I am a female physician, so my role as a wife and mom is going to look a little different from a wife who stays home and is a homemaker. It wont make me less of a wife or mother, it’s just different and I will bring different strengths and assets to the table, and some things I may not be as good at…..everyone has their strengths and weaknesses regardless of their religion. Some people who are rigid about their view of what being a wife should look like may not see or appreciate the benefits and strengths of being a mom who also has a career. Just an example.
US Olympic: my opinion : I’m worried it’s getting to political. I look at people that compete and I just hope they give everyone a fair chance. I just feel like you have gymnast that has been working their butts off for a couple of years and now you have Simone who doesn’t work for it for 2 years and then just gets to come in and get a spot. So I hope they keep it fair for everyone !
Also the Instagram page: I just think the direction of social media changes so much. Instagram might not be a huge thing in 18 years. 5 years ago RUclips was huge and now it’s not. So I think it’s kinda not worth it. It’s just another place for people to judge and give a mental breakdown. I’m old school. So my opinion might not matter

Simone has to earn her spot just like any other gymnast. Most gymnasts take a few years off from the Olympics to rest their bodies before they start training again. There is nothing unfair about Simone coming back after taking 2 years off, it's very common to do that and no one is giving her any special privileges, like I said earlier she has to earn her spot on the Olympic team like everyone else. I follow gymnastics really closely and I realize that some people don't really understand how it works, but it's much more complicated than you would think. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about it.
Who says Simone has a spot? She has to qualify to teams just like everyone else. She doesn’t get an automatic spot in any team for any event.
How do you know for sure that Simone hasn’t been working? That’s an assumption, not a fact. She doesn’t have to share her entire life on SM.
Alicia Sacramone who is in charge now at the age of 24 told Mckayla Maroney to STFU about being molested. Nothing has changed.
I'm guessing his mom is more progressive now..............His sister is also a medical student so she is certainly being exposed to different viewpoints and health inequities, reproductive freedom, etc.
The politics in USAG is still there. Jade got to do easier routines at Nationals, especially on the floor and then still got to do Floor at Worlds. Same with vault. She was given special treatment.
You actually earn your spot at World's event finals during the qualifying events, it has nothing to do with USAG. It has to do with the rules of the World Championships. Jade earned her spot to compete in the World Championships floor event finals at World's.
@@fluidartdreamer THE POINT IS everyone else had to earn their right to be out on the team and Alicia and Chellsie let her slide because she was a name. EVERYONE ELSE had to do their events at multiple events to earn their right to be on the team and several times she didn't.

@@gymstyle5091 Just like when Marta let Annia sit out Nationals because she was afraid she wouldn't make it to trials to cheat to put her on the team for one vault where she scored a whopping half a tenth more in team finals. The games are still there but Jade fanatics don't care because they cheat for her.
