The implication being that people engage the person in the water with melee weapons for some reason and therefore have slower swings that the person in the water can dodge, and that the water is at least shoulder-height
Also the fact that it's harder to aim at things in water: it's why spearfishing can sometimes be a pain in the ass.
Avo bonus is only 10 due to the person in the ocean not only having to time their dive perfectly, but hope they aimed at a spot that would've been close to a miss anyways being even more off center

@@maagic2031 but seriously Asvel's Grafcalibur is broken. He is guaranteed to crit when he doubles, which is pretty often because of his great growth and base speed that can be further enhanced with the Ced Crusader Scroll.

This makes me realize that sitting is the most defensive position you can get in fire emblem.
>60 avoid for standing on a dead body
>20 avoid for standing in a building
If the dead person was under an indoor throne, would that make it impossible to hit a person sitting on that throne?
As a question, if Walter White and Jesse Pinkman defected in the lab Gustavo Fring built over Lalo’s and Howard’s bodies, would this mean Gus’s meth lab is a neutral ground because nobody can be hit because of the effective 80 avoid?

In Shadow dragon and the blade of light Paths/villages/shops/armoury/bridges & floor Tiles give 0%
HOWEVER an open field gives 5%

I mean the more you question mechanics of a game that are done simply for balance or to make it more substantial, the less they make sense.
Like how Halo allows you to zoom in... with a sword.
Or how Pokemon can only punch a certain number of times...
Or how Geralt dies to a three foot fall...
Or how Link can send his mind back into his younger self by doing something that would have no effect on the past...
Or how Doom demons are made of ammo, health, and armor... but only in certain conditions.
Or how any game... that isn’t Prey 2017... doesn’t let you kill people relevant to the story even by stabbing them with a legendary sword.
Or where the hell you store the fish you grabbed with your bare fucking hands in Subnautica.
Or the classic Minecraft tree punching.

My assumption is that because the magic might take its time to move the distance, mages try to predict where the enemy will move next. However, the enemy does not move.

I came back to this video after playing Engage and somehow, this joke is even funnier now than it was before. 60 avoid tree really is the ultimate shield.

Ya know, I really love this new fire emblem. Realistic graphics, classic characters like Red shirt guy and crown guy, Not sure about the map re-use though, almost every level is the same map! I think I'll give it 7/10, looking forward to the child characters in chapter 18, hope you paired bismix and mekkah for the +10 avoid to good strategy
