I'll be watching this later. Thanks Luey I've got to do the rear badge myself. It's the one thing on the car that's really scabby. Yours looks so smart now. While I'm at it I need to look at the wiring going into the boot. It's only opening intermittently.
@@nurski they are already coated. If your car is garaged the badge will be as good as new for years. I replaced the front one 8 years ago and it's still perfect.
@@red75v67 I've had 13 alfas and probably bought around 26 pairs of badges but then again I do live in England and don't have a garage. They come laquered as you say but no harm at least to laquer them again 👍🏽
Hi! I'm having trouble removing the plastic trunk trim. I unscrew the 4 screws, and then I pull it but it's like it's clinging to something. Did you use a lot of force in the part that cuts the video? I need to see how you separate the plastic cover, mine is stuck or I have to apply more force, I'm not sure. I have broken a white rivet trying it and I dare not anymore. thanks u
Basically you just lift up 1 corner and pull with a bit of force to release the clip in that corner. Repeat for all the corners. Unfortunately broken plastic clips are part and parcel with removing trim pieces from any car...if you break any of the plastic plugs/trees then they are fairly easy to source from auto or hardware stores.
Hi I have a 5 door alfa romeo 147 is it possible to order 4 door pillars? I have had no luck so have decided to sand it and prime it and then repaint it myself. I also am looking to replace my emblems but may heat the badges off as I could not find the ones with the screw. So found some with a strong sticker. Any advise would be great. Lovely Gta btw.
The trim is different from 3 door to 5 door so you'd have to order specific 5 door trim. I found with 1 of my trim pieces it had plastic marks all over it from storage over the years so it might be best just to paint them anyway!
I bought my badge from Alfaworkshop but there are others out there that stock them. Have another look its much better to buy the proper one rather than a stick on badge
@@crusherer I'm not 100% sure since I don't have a 147 facelift, but it should be the same process but probably different part numbers. I think the rear badge is different though, the facelift uses a stick on badge
Thanks pal, I’ve got a 2005 gta, rear badge has faded to silver. Won’t be like that for long now.
147 2.0 TS fl,,ott nincs ilyen csavar,2 luk van. 75 Alfámé megmaradt, előre tökéletes, hátul nagyobb a luk távolság.Tehát ragasztva lett
Great 147
Its a keeper!

The new badge will fade after around 8 months, I'd advise you laquer it first

Lucy. Where did you purchase the side trims?
Partsworld UK but I don't know if they have any more
