Considering the fact that bombs skid on flat surfaces, it would be interesting to see a ski craft that drops the bomb on the floor while skiing towards the enemy, then turning away for the bombs to hit the target.

2:55 The damage to the landing gear from slopes when the correct way but not the incorrect way is caused by the landing gear not taking damage when used as landing gear correctly. When landing a plane the back wheels should always touch down first, meaning the angle of the landing gear causes only the back to contact the ground, so the game doesnt do damage as it is the correct way of landing. But as you saw last video, when landing incorrectly front wheel first they do take damage
That made my head hurt.
@@mightymaster8752 sorry i didn't explain it very well. You're meant to land on the back of landing gear meaning you dont take damage doing that, which is why going up slopes with backwards landing gear doesnt take damage, as technically the back of the landing gear is hitting first

Speaking as one with a background in both aeronautics and transport, this is actually a more realistic use of these parts than as the landing gear they were intended to be, so good job Lath, you've outdone yourself.

When you're doing races and with a craft like that, when approaching a turn you want to start on the opposite side of which the turn is going, then as you're approaching it cut the turn sharply by moving to the inside as you're turning/a little before you start to turn

Love your builds as always how about a better future build with hovers at the front and landing gear at the back or vice versa
i recommend putting wings on the back, facing back as well
I recommend instead of using the rockets for speed, use them for stability or brakes cause that would help with drifting and overall control. This is my thought process and I’ve never used better future before but I think it will work. Also I like what you do here Lathland.

Yeah, definitely. I used to have a sled kinda similar to this one that I ran in TDM with nanos (back when you could only have 1 gun type.) It was crazy fast which was great for getting in to heal someone before they died, but it handled like a kite in a hurricane.

Definitely going to be building something like that for myself. I am curious if you'd have more control if the thrusters are in the front instead of the back. In essence changing it from rear wheel drive to front wheel drive.

I’m sure you’ve learned by now how to drift but I’m still catching up to current vids lol. You go from the outside to the inside, if you hug the inside trying to turn the inertia will send you to the outside. Instead at the apex of the turn (coming from the outside towards the inside) hit the thrust and it will propel you the way your nose is facing.
I see that 2 AM is lathixs favor time to recode things that are bugger all fun or funny to watch
I was kind of disappointed by the weapons in Better Future because their thing is... a better future and I feel like that's against the better future thing. I imagined harvesters or a cool heal gun OR self defense like anti rocket weapons. May put this on the next video so that this comment is seen better because I want feedback.

assuming you're talking about the fact that they HAVE weapons, not how the weapons suck, i'd have to argue that if weapons make for a better future or not is a very subjective and opinionated topic. besides, it's called *better* future, not *ultimate utopian future.* "better" is a comparative word, and when compared to the previous factions of the game that ALL have weapons, weaponry can't really be an argument AGAINST the claim of "better", not weaponry's existance anyway. i totally see where you're coming from tho, lovely comment!

If you would just add four venture or hawkeye wings on the sides it would probably make the craft more controllable than right now. It would just look really bad. Great job though, it looks really nice .👍
You should remove the missiles and opt for a couple of the lances at the front. It'll cut your speed for brakes and act as a cqc weapon

as far as turning at high speed, the reason motorized tricycles were banned is because 2 wheels in the back and 1 in the front (or in this case landing gear) is incredibly unstable and nearly impossible to turn at high speed without rolling

U need to make a vehicle using experimental equipment some of that stuff is really cool, like the plasma lance, it’s like a booster because it deals so much knock back
You should try out Starsector! I think it will be right up your alley.
Your issues with the racing appears to do more with the line that you are taking on the track. Since you mentioned the delayed turns, you want to minimize the how sharp you are turning, so that it takes less to correct when you come out of the turn. You can do that by approaching the turn from the outside of the turn, and then crossing the track as you go into the turn, depending upon how sharp the turn is and where you need to be for your next turn of course. HTH

This is great, it's like an offbrand hover, all the drifting motions wheels can't provide, and no weird bouncing and uncontrolable sliding!

When drifting one must keep in mind that thay are steering there car wit the back weels. This meens its more possible to over steer when in a turn.

must be years back in robocraft but i had a ski craft that was just stupidly good. Was insanely fast and small and just dished out punishment without receiving much in return. i was a bully

Lathrix, I never imagined someone being able to control that, you on the other hand, were really good! You shouldn’t think that you are terrible at drifting because my opinion is that you are great. Keep on going!

Are these parts in the regular game yet?
If you haven't already, Trying a single centered tail fin may help get the craft back under control quicker. Part of what was causing issue with your two tail fins was the separation from center of mass
This build kinda looks a lot like the Sylph Assault Craft from the BattleTech miniature's game it had 2 SRM racks and 2 small lasers annoying little git to boot 😆
