His voice up to the Black Album. After that album... thrash days ended and then came Load and Reload... not bad albums actually but Metallica albums Kill em All to the Black Album is true Metallica. 🤘🏼
You realize the album was recorded a quarter step high? This is technically a quarter step flat, not true Eb. That's why it sounds slightly out of tune if you play along.
Maybe i dont have elitist audiophile ears, but when I tune down to eb and play along, I don't notice any difference in tuning. Quarter step higher or whatever, it sounds eb to me.
There is a slight difference. It’s barely noticeable. But because I’m a synesthetic, it makes me uncomfortable. I can’t tell you exact notes with 100% accuracy, but I can tell you if it’s out of tune. This is less than a quarter step flat. It’s like 4hz flat.
May James's old voice rest in peace lml
I actually like his new voice tbh

ok
It’s quarter step down like Megade-
when you realise you were wrong, they just made the song a bit faster, that's why it sound a bit out of tune
So, it’s just a sound illusion?
Regular standard tuning is at 440 hz they tuned to 445 hz, slightly higher pitched

slightly above eb tuning :(
I think only For Whom the Bell Tolls was slightly sharp as you describe, to be in tune with the bell.
Nope it’s not because it had to be in tune with the bell
I think it was an anvil
Sounds badass but think it’s slightly off
3:56 melhor parte sem dúvidas.
