Been driving my 2016 640d xDrive Gran Coupé since 3 years now. After 120k on the clock I only had one small issue (previous owner never had anything). My five things that I don‘t like are the front cupholders, no electric trunk, no front facing camera, sun roof that doesn‘t really open and the massage seats that aren‘t really massaging you (just your butt). Other than that, the car is awesome! Top five things I like on my car is the Individual extended full leather interior (leather just everywhere you look), Bang & Olufsen Surround Sound System, M Sport Edition (better than M Sport Package), ventilated front seats (especially in the summer) and all the driving assists (except Night Vision).
Only had mine 5 weeks. I watched some of your videos before purchasing and I have to say I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I have a list of things to do to her then she'll be off to see Glen at GKR to give her the power she deserves. Really good all rounder I think.
Cheers man really appreciate the comment and watches! Honestly I’m just being picky aren’t I, by far my favourite daily to date! You’ll wake it up a little bit with a map, increased mpg is a bonus but don’t expect night and day performance, just smooths it out mainly and gives you some better low end grunt
Multistorey car parks are fun with the length of it. I avoided the non sunroof! Lack of button close boot is so odd considering these were bought by golf playing directors... Definitely ditch the run flats! But it drives so smooth, sounds great and looks cool...especially in carbon black with pale leather
@@mrmotors_uk performance wise..like having a couple of candles. Agree on the “crashy” ride as well, otherwise great car. Had Porsche last 6 years , never looked back
Got a few bits over standard I think, HUD, sunroof, Soft close doors, bigger wheels, heated steering wheel, tints, full leather dash, reverse cam etc etc.
@@mrmotors_uk those wheels are standard the m sport pack . It’s soft closed doors and a sunroof that does not make it a high spec car , depending on the age of your car the HUD came out as standard after 2016 . I know, because I just sold a fully loaded one , and when I was looking, I knew what I was looking for . 😉

Vented front seats must be a godsend on a warm day!
@ It is! Was one of my „must-haves“ when I was looking for a 6 Series GC.

The size. The 38mpg overall average. The window that doesn't always go down. Rear seats that down fold down.
You sure your seats don’t go down? Mine do

Good colour combo that! Nothing. Better fit the £££
Hey man thinking of getting a 2014 plate. Are they pretty reliable?
Good choice. Check my other videos, I’ve had a few small issues but nothing that was too much drama!
There must be a retrofit kit to allow it to fully open
There’s no rails to allow it to do so, it’d need a total rip out and start again
640d is based o 5 series ? So No air Suspension?
Nope! No air 😭
The worst thing is the "N" engine in it. It is so problematic and extremely expensive to fix and maintain
Think it’s the same with most modern engines isn’t it?
@@mrmotors_uk not with "b" code engines
@ seen some b58 motors with issues too but to be fair it is when people push them too much
Mine had the worst headlights on any car I’ve owned
Looks or performance wise?

Panamera?
Wrong colour that

Stes mum has what? 😂
Massive tits
Whoever told you to buy a six series with the sunroof ? Can’t believe you would listen. 😂
Your car is a low spec car .
Read mixed things, fortunately apart from this video it stays firmly shut 😂

@@BullyBoxerwouldn’t say it’s standard spec mate. It’s a fairly high specced car. Might not be top spec but clearly it’s not standard spec.
