1) Turn the ignition key to position II (2). 2) With the engine off, tap the set button on the steering column until the odometer is displayed. 3) Press and hold the set button (about 2 seconds) until the clock hours flash. Then tap the button to advance the hours (note that time is in 24-hour format). 4) Press and hold the set button until the minutes flash. Then tap the button to advance the minutes. 5) Press and hold the set button until the clock reverts to normal display. 😘

I had the same, don’t pay for more balancing until you get your alloys checked. I have a very minor flat spot on the inside of my alloy wheel. Had it straightened and it’s fixed. Any wheel imperfections will be felt even if balanced

In parts of the USA where you don’t need opf’s absolutely. Sadly in the uk if a opf is removed it’s a fail. Plus you’d need to remap it to have the cel dealt with which also is a big no no for warranty

Thanks and yes they are silly little annoyances that don’t detract from the car at all. I’ve tried a 981 gt4 too, great car but I preferred the 718 personally. The exhaust is the 718’s weakness for sure but it has a far better induction noise than the 981, a simple exhaust rear section gives you the best of both worlds 😀👌

Yeh silly little annoyances that certainly don’t detract from such a fantastic package. I really do love the car 👍 Have you seen how the newer bmw/mini work? It still has the safety latch to stop the bonnet opening, it is just operated by pulling the same lever twice 👌

It’s not a big deal at all, just worth considering other options

I have a 1964 356C and the front hood has the same secondary catch arrangement. That Porsche still uses this passive safety method speaks to me of historical lineage and elegant engineering solutions and are the reasons why I admire the brand.

It’s a lovely clean tone but sadly there is a small bit of drone at around 2k rpm and high load. I generally don’t find myself in the drone spot so it doesn’t both me luckily 👍

After having both quite well versed here… the 140i is like a stabbed rat and feels unplanted in corners. It’s definitely overpowered on standard chassis. The 640d obviously doesn’t feel as quick but I wouldn’t describe as numb and dull at all!

The sparco carbon seats are fantastic but the stock ones are still pretty supportive. You just sit a bit higher and lose some connection to the car
