Top video there. You're spot on that minimal kit can be more than adequate. If the Forrester is going for a full respray, would now be the perfect time to practice machine polishing? I mean, what harm are you gonna do to paint and lacquer that won't exist in a few months time?
You are absolutely right. Car goes in paint shop at end of September. I’ll do my utmost to do a polishing video before then. As my std mantra is no dry runs, my first time is audiences first time etc, I may end up doing it in a few parts. Learning along the way. But defo have opportunity to start on the spoiler (paint already dead), then roof bar mounts (also dead), then once I’ve practised a bit, I’ll get in to the classic, bonnet.
