Another great video, I loved the drone footage of the lagoon at double Island Point, theres quite a few good looking gutters (that's the fisherman in me coming out ) would certainly be a shame if the ocean takes back the lagoon as it looks like a spectacular anchorage. Great to see you both enjoying the trip and the company. 🙂🥂
Nice video again Norm, I guess I better get a boat now I'm up here and you are showing all the excellent spots. Could put my hand up for first mate on a North bound trip lol. Enjoy your time with Wombi, and thanks again. Steve
Beautiful places up that way, spoilt for choice. Can I ask you how far have you been around the Oz coastline in your cat? I know you spend most of your time up and down the east coast, just wondering if you've gone down around South Oz or the Kimberly region. Also why haven't you bothered with a mainsail. Cheers
To Tassie twice. Want to visit again later this year. Been into The Gulf of Carp. and T.I. but not over to the Kimberly. The boat sort of evolved. Was never meant to be a sail boat dude. The headsail is easy to use and works well.
@@MotorSailingforOldDudes yeah I realize it wasn't meant to be a sail boat, i was just wondering why you went half way with the sail and not go the next step with a main, thats all
@@Antipodean33 A main would have been hard to handle over the roof and winches etc. hard to to site. As we only run down wind the main would probably shadow the headsail also and it is a lot less drama just unfurling and furling the Genoa. Cheers Dude.
Well that brought a smile to my face, thank you.
Thanks for wat hing dude.
Love ya work.

Exactly where is the anchorage in Mooloolaba?
The "duckpond" is just a little further up the river from The Wharf marina.
Not great holding in a lot of wind.
