  • I take a moment to review 2022 with my Ferrari Modena 360. How much did I spend on it? Where did I go on my travels and how many miles have I clocked up? I also talk about 2023 and the work I want to do in 2023.

I keep driving mine, even during winter, as long as any salt has washed away & reasonably dry. Work on basis of trying to keep all mechanically exercised. Jan & Feb can be tricky!!!
    Great videos.

Yeah if I can be sure the salt is not around, would not like it creeping into the parts a spray won’t reach. But agreed, using is best!

Love your videos. Just subscribed. Like Wally, I'm in Northern California. Oddly, I've gone by Wally my entire life. I digress! LOL Quick question...where can I pick up one of those inflatable plastic garage bubbles? Are they also a way to keep temps regulated inside the bubble. My garage gets super hot in the California summers. Let me know. Thanks!

Thanks! Very kind. They come from a company called Carcoon - not sure what countries they are in though but you should find them. As for temperature regulation, I think to a small extent yes, they are not designed for that exactly but as it’s quite a body of air so it’s hard to cool or heat it. I would say it would keep it a little cooler.

Well it feels like the 360 is getting more attention recently and it’s flowing lines being really appreciated. There are more of them so what is key is getting the right spec. In my view manual, Rosso corsa, tan / black interior and get a really well maintained and looked after one and you will probably in good shape. The 430 starts to feel more modern and very few manuals, I think in time in that era, manual will be key because we will all have paddles and it’s not a novelty any more. Manual will be the exciting thing. If you buy a well maintained one and look after it then it should not be too much trouble. I think 360 and 430 are actually crossing eras so it’s personal choice and budget on that!

As always, I love your car, as a proud 360 owner myself I appreciate each and every video you make. I do have a question about something that has been concerning me in the last couple of years. Now, I thank God it has not given me a reason to take this action immediately, but I have decided that in early 2023 I will take preventative action. I am of course referring to the heat exchanger. I have happily owned my 360 many years, and I suspect it still has the original factory heat exchanger. I have watched the nightmare videos from other people and heard the nightmare stories referring to the heat exchanger like a ticking time bomb in the 360s, I no longer want that hanging in the back of my head so like I said, in early 2023 it is going in the shop for a brand new heat exchanger. My question to you is, have you changed yours? And if not, are you considering it or does it worry you in anyway?

Thanks so much! I have actually not thought about it for ages, I remember thinking about it a while ago but put out of mind now!! When I go to see Aldous at @avengineering I will ask and let you know!

@@MagicModena Thank you, I appreciate it. My tech here in Northern California, whom has been the only tech to service my car over the last several years, said he always checks to ensure there are no signs of coolant in the oil, which is the telltale sign of heat exchanger failure, and it looks good every time. Having said that my car is a 2000 so he said it’s totally up to me as a preventative measure. But I am curious as to what AV Engineering has to say / recommend 🤔 Looking forward to your 2023 content 👍🏻, especially now that’s pretty obvious Sam (STG) is or probably already did, sell his lovely manual 360 🙄

Imagine "taking a chance" on the massive costs of running a Ferrari.... Then losing much, much more on the electric car (or golf cart, as I tend to think of them)....
