Yeah it was a bit of a pain on PC emulator, until I realised I could "hide" if hiding wasn't possible it would have been quite irritating. Also didn't help I kept bring up the android overlay or whatever it is when I was swiping the cards.
It was way too easy. All you need to have is a bit of a rhythm sense. Move after or before the attack, and shoot in the waiting times. If there is a lot of movement (like in stage 2), opt for auto-attack.
The last stage could have the mechanics completely ignored. Just move Belfast to spots that you cant get hit and then spam Jean Bart's main gun volley skill. Literally ignore everything else.
Problem I ran into with the Roguelite was that unless you were playing on an emulator on PC, your inputs on the phone for trying to click-drag-play a card, you'd force move yourself after using it and would have to tap to move back to your preferred location.
My guy, Suffolk got a huge boost what are you talking about? 75% at a MG+1 with a 2% heal every time? +15 Evasion? That’s fantastic. If you run a Cheshire gun on her she’ll be popping off ever 5 seconds or so, assuming she activates it 3/4 of the time on a 20 second period she’ll heal 6%, 7% with toolbox. That’s essentially a Perseus heal built in. Not to mention Suffolk has 71 base luck. Now with her Augmentation she absolutely could off tank while DPSing, and essentially MG+1 on a 160% efficiency gun, TRP +1 on a 165% efficiency, and has solid bulk with decent (for CA) EVA, Luck, and recovery. In terms of all the augment modules this is a wild improvement for her compared to the other ones and their impact
@@Orthus100 I agree it only makes her decent. But I’m talking about in terms of overall impact. The other three are meh compared to making Suffolk a all around decent ship
@@Orthus100 Well I know what you mean... but the suicide boat stage was fun nevertheless. There's not many games I know that has a "fire-and-forget"mechanic as it seems it is not considered "player-friendly".
The had puzzle stages in Operation Siren in the beginning and it was so hated that they removed it after 1st season. lol It seems they learned absolutely nothing from that while designing this new game mode.
New anti-EM mode is just straight junk imo. The screen sizes of mobile devices are just not big enough to be tap-moving AND dragging cards AND aiming all at the same time. Especially when it interprets card drags as move taps half the time and dumps you right in the line of fire. for all the time they supposedly spent developing it, they really missed the mark, and I honestly hope we never see it again.
That's simply not true. You don't have to do everything at once -at worst, you need to do 2 at once. For suicide boats, they were so slow compared to the daily, that you can use a fire-and-forget mechanic, and still have time to do a full salvo. When you have bullet hell, you can either use auto-firing, or simply wait for the opportunity to shower the baddies with the glory of the 380mm rain from the heavens. The timing of these stages were good as well -not as easy as the event stages, but not as hard as, let's say, EX stages or Extreme Challenge. Really, the only problematic part is the drag-and-accidentally-move issue, however, I don't really see how it can be "fixed". There can be a "clicking cooldown time" of 0,5 seconds after drag-and-drop, but that would hamper the faster players from moving... Well not that it's my problem, thank god... I'm not saying you need to like it, I am just helping to see it in a different light :)
It's probably not worth taking off dmg dealing or evasion equips for a 25% chance at 2% HP every 15s. Backlines do a significant majority of the dmg, so there is a lot of opportunity cost there when giving them only 500 HP.
Tried the new rogue and didn't care for it lol. I'll maybe come back to it after it's been implemented better. Also the em countermeasure stages are annoying to deal with on smartphones.
Roguelike is going to take some getting used to. Will have to wait and see how they continue to implement it before I decide I'm doing it more than once a day. Keeping my guesses for the UR to myself lest I jinx it. :P
Underrated update. LOVE the new opsci store. Much needed - now we're not reliant on rng to get the best shop items asap. Also nice to see all stats instead of just most of them so I don't have to refer to the wiki as often lol. As for the new game mode, after giving it a few tries I actually like it. Nice change of pace from autoing almost every other game mode. Took me a few tries to get the hang of it but once you understand what you need to do (literally just watch the patterns, move the vanguard ship to the safe spots, then start attacking once you've gotten the movement down) you'll complete in one attempt without taking damage. Could use some work but at least it's better than the old sub missions.
They could've done the same exact thing with standard joystick control and it would've been even more fun. lol There's a reason why most games DONT use Tap-To-Move on mobile games. lol
Hakuryuu is so busted strong now as it is, I honestly dont think she NEEDS a FateSim yet. All it's gonna do is further cement the CV meta with Haku/Shinano/Implacable.
The irony is that in the last month all the new content has been leaning heavily towards the USS CVs with their light armor and rocket focus (Yorktown II, Hornet II, Enterprise, etc.)
Why are you calling the EM Countermeasures a roguelike? That is just not what a roguelike is, there is zero randomness, progression, or choice. This trash minigame is a weak attempt at a cardbattler that may be easy on an emulator, but is horrendous on a phone. Like, I am convinced there was no testing done on a phone because dear god are the controls absolute dogshit.
I didn't really like the rogue like, it was difficult to use on phone and you were really just trying to spam attacks as fast as possible. It just felt like the same gameplay but with a more difficult UI.
Don't pull a Kimo, remember Agir catch-up. Roguelite was the worst. Wasted dev-time, do not return. "Now we don't look up datemines to see what a ship does" But we still need for the weapons
The "new gameplay" is freaking horrible and i can say for sure if this becomea thing i will quite the game. Even if i have put in more hours then 99% of the players this would be a reason to quite. This is not how want to play it's so freaking bad.
I already like roguelike ^_^ It's actually challenging in a different way than, for example, extreme challenge, and you need to change the way of thinking. It was actually kind of easy once we figure it out. And auto-attacks are way overpowered...
Honestly, only downside to the roguelike mode was the funky movement system. It's leagues better than Blue Archive, mind you, where you have no control whatsoever outside of certain skills, but it's definitely a downgrade for typical AL gameplay unless the mode is going to be touhou lite, in which case the ability to precisely position your ships is a blessing. ... Also, they added accuracy while I wasn't looking? Nice.
I dont really get why people struggle with new mode, boss patterns are nothing compared to event bosses. I think idea is good, but realisation is so rough.
I cleared it, but I kept accidentally swiping out of the game when trying to use the cards and when I went back into the game everything was slow motion and I couldn’t use the cards. Made me retry the last stage several times because that
Honestly, it was difficult to finish the Roguelike stages if you have to do both the movement and card attacks in each stage.
Yeah it was a bit of a pain on PC emulator, until I realised I could "hide" if hiding wasn't possible it would have been quite irritating. Also didn't help I kept bring up the android overlay or whatever it is when I was swiping the cards.
I always play on emulation, but I had to do the final rogue like stage on my phone.
I can't seem to "hide". The sub stage has too many subs getting by me if I stay in one place. And moving and playing cards on an emulator is no bueno.

To be fair if you remove the fact you have to MOVE around would be wayyy better. Just make it turn based lol
Jintsu meta is an absolute unit
It would be way too easy, and not much different than what we already have.
I actually thought it was turn-based after the first stage until I hit the suicide boats one because everything was so stiff.
@@Orthus100 Well I know what you mean... but the suicide boat stage was fun nevertheless. There's not many games I know that has a "fire-and-forget"mechanic as it seems it is not considered "player-friendly".
Im pretty disappointed that SoDak’s augment didnt make her close to meta use but at least they are still giving the OG ships some love
Ya, given she was like the first PvP oriented ship, I was hoping she'd at least get a glimpse of her former glory.
The had puzzle stages in Operation Siren in the beginning and it was so hated that they removed it after 1st season. lol

The worst thing about the puzzle stages are they awarded... nothing. Thanks wasting my time ...
I can't clear the roguelike stages. It's not fun at all
It is, I am not sure as to how I able to finish all five either, probably luck
There are blindspots near where the bullets intersect. I just stick there then move away when torps come out.
Spam the BB shelling command. It hurts more than everything else
Will the ship reveal will be on the first or second Livestream?
is there still a way to get Jintsuu meta? or there's no way now? She came out before I started playing

Won't the Anti-EM Command aux be pair good with South Dakota healing ability?
Maybe Seydlitz?

Who else use META ships to avoid using regular ships for normal farming gold?
Why use META over regular ships?
Helena META is already good enough for me but should I perhaps go for jinstuu META too?
Hated the roguelike mode, tried it for a bit, didn't find it fun at all
It wasn't even a roguelike in any sense. Just annoying until you figure out where the safe spot is, and then boring after that.
Tried the new rogue and didn't care for it lol. I'll maybe come back to it after it's been implemented better. Also the em countermeasure stages are annoying to deal with on smartphones.
i'm returnee player and doesnt follow up AL is it new UR will come into global too? and when its happened?
Roguelike mode where nothing is roguelike BS for that
and the control is sucks they wanna copy BA but forgot the time slow mechanic
now the only thing that we need atm are barrage and passive animation previews

@AzurLaneMeta bulk of the bosses weak to CVs are heavy/medium arent they? Which means Yorktown II got powercrept almost immediately
Remove the Movement cost in Roguelike and I will call it playable
