Al really liked the recent build of the Hotel St. George, now in the Philly area. Al asked if we could make a station from it. No, but I could redesign it to be a station.....henceforth this model. Now comes the bit how a student knows more than the teacher. This model would only work with brick, stone, marble, or block, but Al insisted on wood. We had many words over this, and I almost quit the project, but gave in and built it using 6" clapboard and colors which would complement it. Well, you can see the results. The student won in every aspect of this build, and I enjoyed my dinner of baked crow.
@@alpugliesetrains9753 Had some health issues and the need, because of the past few years, to earn some money to supliment the retirement funds.... so this all took fasr too much time from the project. But things are well again and work has been happening on a couple of work benches and some more roadbed and wiring done on the ROW. Photos will be coming. Modelers are always welcome here but it will be really worth a trip later this year coming, well worth the wait. I was glad to see Howard and this new station project, thought I'd drop a note to say hi. I have got to make the trip to see his place, his work is over the top.
Well done!
What great looking station. You guys just amaze me with your talent.

Turned out great and I now know what Howard’s next project is. Thanks for the video. I can’t wait to see it on your new layout. Hopefully in person.
