- In a nutshell: 300 km, shitty weather, broken phone, a drone that got caught in a tree and for the sake of variety we watched awesome sunsets and made good memories!
YEIH, hop on and pedal up to cycle the Camino de Santiago!
On this 300 km bikepacking trip I had company! A friend of mine joined in, so together we cycled along the stunning coast line of Portugal and Spain until we reached our destination: Santiago de Compostela!
Enjoy watching!

Hab gerade nach ein paar Videos gesucht während meiner Recherche und irgendwann dachte ich mir: niemals ist sie da noch nie gewesen!!🤣✌🏻 schön, wenn man sich auf etwas verlassen kann

I'm so happy !!! The adventure is not over.... Thank you for sharing 😀
I do enjoy your videos very much. I also learn quite a lot from them. What is refreshing is that you are extremely honest about your joys and struggles. Thanks for your hard work in making these videos.
Best from Ohio, USA
Your honest about all of your experiences is refreshing and makes your videos amazing!
This is amazing! Love following your journey 😁

Loving your videos! I can’t wait until the next one! Best wishes from the USA!
Next one is already in the making ;)
Taxi Boat!! That’s fun.
As always what beautiful scenery you get to take in!
Haha yeah we were so glad we found that boat. Otherwise we would have had a looong detour!
Another beautyfull video!!! Thanks!
Is it so good to see!!! And again I must say Wunderbar!!!
🙏🙏
Looks like you've decided to close up the vlogging shop. All good things must come to an end... Especially when moving to even better things! Best wishes and thanks for all the videos!
I decided nothing:) I'm still a youtube newbie and trying things out:)

I live in Santiago. I was so happy to see you guys bought the bike at BikeOne. I live across the street and I've bought a couple of bikes there. The guys working there are super helpful and kind with cyclist around here
I sooo love your videos!
Great video. 🚴🏻♀️👌

Nice trip minus the rain :)
Yeah, weather sucks sometimes :D
Very nice informative entertaining helpful video 📹
Thanks for Speaking English! I understand you perfectly my friend. I know some Spanish? My first language is English. Safe Travels Mi Amiga 😁💗🙏
When you come to California 🚲🤙🏻
Parabéns 👏🏻
Brill 😊
Great video! Crow
And...yeah.
I love "el camino"
I did It 3 times ❤️
Lovely video. Thanks! I am planning to ride from Porto to Santiago in Sept. and I am uncertain about some equipment. You are using dropped bars and not mtn. bike (flat )bars. Many of the paths looked like they would be easier/safer with mtn. bike bars. If you could do it again, which style of handlebar would you use?
Giant!gorgeous . have a good day- :)
Thank youuu!
😆I can totaly relate to google maps sugesting broken bike paths even a rabbit trail can be sugested on google maps.
Congrats
Cada video es mejor que el anterior!!! Precioso Santiago. Y ahora? Asturias, Cantabria, País Vasco y sigues por Francia? Buen camino!!!!
Ahora francia:)))
@@giantcheerio olala!!!! 🤭💪
I have a question. in Europe do you guys have your bicycles set up with the front brake on the right side of the handlebar? I'm in the US and bicycles come with the front brake on the left and I always have to switch because I'm used to riding motorcycles with the front brake on the right side
Hi I have mine on the right always have had . The reason I was told is that riders in bike racers at feeding stations use the right hand to grab the musettes so it makes sense that just in case you have to brake the left hands free
What does your clavicle tattoo say / mean? You give me a laugh every time … biking in your flips and this time in those orange socks .. you are a lone Wolfe … more power to you
Thanks for your comments! The tattoo is the first tattoo I got when I was 18 and these are coordinates of a small little town where I met very lovely people while picking blueberries and we all got the same tattoo😅
🇧🇷🇧🇷
Try Komoot for navigation 😉 btw good video.

Merry crimas cherrio
Hi ho, Cheerio!
:))
Flower to you
How good was the band in Pontevedra
Your bike must be bomb if it's keeping up with that mileage and also the luggage etc. What are you currently riding?
I was riding a Giant comax fastroad 1 and since a couple of months I am riding the 8bar teufelsberg:)
@@giantcheerio
"8bar Cheerio" now? 😉
what the name of that device you used at 10:40 ?
It's a sea to summit x pot :) pretty handy!
I took my wife to Santiago (by car) in 2003, and the year later my teenage daughters. It is such a special place. Now that Covid appears to be fading I had hoped to ride there from the UK. However, the Spanish law mandating the use of cycle helmets puts me off. I notice that much of the time you were not wearing one whilst riding in Spain. Was this an issue?
Si eres menor de edad (-18), debes llevar el casco siempre.
Si eres mayor de edad, en ciudad, lo llevas si quieres. Pero entre ciudades, es decir, por carretera, debes llevar casco.
LOL google maps traps

Just to be aware camping in spain outside a camping site is illegal. So for others to be ware you can’t just pop a tent anywhere.
Yes true! Wildcamping is almost everywhere illegal (in Europe)
I give you a rose.
Shit about phone, it is important
A hole bukett flower to you
Awesome imagens of the way... it was certainly a "um bom caminho"; ohhhh now it's in spanish so: "fue un bueno camiño". Adios and see you soon here Cheerio. ☕⛺🏕🏞🌎🙏🚲😊
Thank you:) cycling the camino was such a nice experience:))
Galician: "foi un bo caminho"
Spanish: "fue un buen camino"
You mixed up languages
