    Great vid. I almost started crying tears of joy from the tricking of my brain at the view of an unaffected hand.

    Thank you very much for being so clearing your explanations, for taking the time to do it well, for your ideas the softness and kindness you put into other exercises. I'd love to see more ideas for exercises with the mirror box.

    Would it be advantageous while doing the pinch exercises with the card to pinch the card and roll the wrist up and back down when releasing the card

    Hi, thank you very much. I am from Holland. Please can you tell me if all the exercises must be done in one session ? Or just one exercise per session? My husband has had a stroke 4 months ago😢 and is paralysed on his right side.

    I’m glad I found this video. Is this something to work on even if your hand is still in a fist? Would doing this with a brace be preferred?

    • @PostStrokeOrg
      @PostStrokeOrg  10 месяцев назад +2

      @jwebb753 Mirror therapy is a great way to work on your affected side even when you don't have any movement at all! Your affected hand goes behind the mirror and you're actually looking at your unaffected hand to trick your brain!

    Had a stroke 5 years ago. This mirror therapy never works. Sure as fuck didn’t get my affected side moving. You can flip-flop your unaffected hand all you want, you’re not tricking anything! Unless you do it like every day or something there’s no benefit and it really doesn’t work!
