i love the mental image of brian walking past this parking lot, slowing down, and going "hmm. ok i got one."
He sees an empty parking lot. He sees the no trucks sign. Eureka! Hours later, all for that sweet, sweet punchline. Truly the most dedicated comedian and entertainer
He was driving past it. He took a few minutes before he realized what he had witnessed and immediately did a U-turn on a road that shouldn't have U-turns, like they do in the movies.

I can't tell if the signs are edited, the trucks are edited, or if Brian just stumbled on a very unfortunate situation for whoever was responsible and decided to film there.

I believe the no trucks sign means commercial trucks, big rigs and box trucks, aren't allowed on that road. (Because it's the entrance for that parking lot full of pickup trucks)

The absolute audacity to make a 8 second comedy sketch and frame the joke so that it cannot be viewed in portrait mode. Take that Tik Tok content thieves
You can just add additional pan to the sign so BDG is off screen during the "Oh Fuck" and you get 90% of the quality.
I see this as a challenge
The funny thing is I saw people do such a low effort copy that they didn't add the pan and it completely doesn't make sense.
If only he'd seen the sign earlier. truly a gut-wrenching emotional experience to have witnessed. I felt his pain as if it were my own

As someone who actually worked as a parking attendant at a giant dealership and had to run cars through the car wash one at a time during pollenpocalypse (because our pressure washer died), and them re-park each of them as perfectly spaced as possible, I feel this on such a core level.

Normally, one would have seen the sign, read it and only then realised the mistake. How long does it take? Almost a second, let's say.
One detail with which Brian made this better is the instantaneous reaction, suggesting the character was supposed to already know that but forgot at his own fault as employee.

In seven seconds my emotions went from “where the fuck is this going” to dying on the floor laughing.
This is the story of a man who's found his passion in life -- parking trucks. He wandered aimlessly from job to job in his earlier years, never feeling quite the satisfaction he was expecting. There was yearning there, but for what, he didn't know. Couldn't know, until one fateful day: his ex-girlfriend's father asked him to park his truck for him, so he could help his daughter carry her boxed belongings down the Attendant's apartment stairs.
And that was that. The piece had finally fallen into place. The truck had finally been parked, right in that missing spot in his soul.
Sure, it wasn't the most glamorous of jobs. "But son," his mother would sigh, "you were so talented, selling rollerblades and masks carved from the rinds of watermelons. Why this?"
Why this, indeed? But he had no answer.
Perhaps that was life was about. He had no answer, but he did have boundless love. For parking trucks. Sure, his girlfriend left him to be with a dance instructor, and yes, the rocks in his apartment were making it harder to leave with every passing day. It wasn't perfect. But it was his passion, and heck, if you didn't follow your dreams, why bother sleeping at all?

@@OHYS The joke is that he spent all that effort parking them neatly... in a place where that kind of vehicle is forbidden, so it doesn't matter that he did it well. It's the sudden swerve from satisfaction to dismay.

this is the sort of video where you know he found that spot while walking around, set up a camera and just recorded himself
those trucks dont seem to be edited due to the moving properly when the camera pans, ya know with the ones up close moving a lot and the ones in the background not doing so? but it doesn't seem like the sign's edited either? did he just stumble upon this? did he see all those identical trucks and *brought* a sign? where did all the trucks come from and why were they the same model? is he outside a car manufacturer? the questions are endless
that's when you complete the homework and lose points for not showing your work
